Cosplay

Noticed a few girls mentioned they cosplayed however I couldn't find a thread for cosplay itself. Figured I'd start one to share pics, progress, tips, and stories.

I cosplay as Rose Tyler from Doctor Who, The Queen of Hearts, and I've also done a female Fourth Doctor from Doctor Who as well.
I really want to get a Zelda cosplay together however I'd rather make her dress as none of the ones on Etsy are the Ocarina of Time version. (I've seen way too many Twilight Princess Zeldas and I want to stand out) I'm also working on a Caroline cosplay from Portal 2 with my friend whom will be Cave Johnson. Harley Quinn is one I've been wanting to do forever however I've very picky when it comes to her outfit as she's a character I hold dear to my heart. (Aka I will probably lock myself in a tower and slave away until the perfect Harley suit is complete)

I've always loved seeing well-done cosplays but previously didn't have the skills or supplies to put together any myself. I wanted to wait until I knew I could do it well.
I think that the last couple of years of sewing for the Renaissance faire and making stripper costumes have given me enough confidence to start expanding into the world of crafting cosplay stuff. Needless to say I'm super excited. I see some SciFi & gamer cosplay in my future. Will be keeping an eye on this thread for sure.
