File this under “good problems to have,” but I managed to stress myself out… while on vacation.
I’m six days into a lengthy PTO leave. I deliberately reserved the first week for a total reprogramming… no alarm clock, no set plans, just complete freedom to wake up whenever and do whatever. The first four days were glorious. I caught up on rest, went to random new places, etc. But now, I’m kind of missing the structure of having things planned. Waking up with nothing specific to do kind of messed with my head, after a while. The second leg of my vacay is packed with plans - flying out of town, meeting friends in fun places, etc. And to be honest, it can’t get here quickly enough.
Does anyone else go a little crazy if they don’t have plans and structure to their day-to-day? I did it on purpose, but I’m finding that it isn’t my favorite way to operate.
