Did they change the Logitech 9000?

Ive been shopping around for one and I notice some are black but some seem to have an orange ring around the logo. Did they redesign it or something? If so, is the newer or older one "better"?

I've noticed that my local stores are re-stocked with them and have different packaging. I haven't purchased one since this update, so I have no idea if they're different. A while back, they changed the "quickcam pro" to "webcam pro" or the other way around, I can't remember... anyway, the way they looked changed slightly as far as the video quality, but not too drastic. Hopefully there aren't any big changes.

I feel like Id probably get the solid black one, just because I need all my electronics to be piano black or Ill have an OCD shit fit.

I think the orange ring only shows up if you have the cam on. That's what my newly purchased one does (Bought on the 9th)
