The model's face is most important though, I want something to humanize the experience. I do not like headless sexy bodies lacking in emotion, it is not enjoyable for me. The models expression, such as the look in her eyes says so much if you pay attention. I cannot speak for other people though.

This is what I've gathered from my experience in clips as well. Most viewers (going for a general term here, please don't hate my verbiage) are going to prefer to see more over the quality.

As a viewer, I'd much rather have a decent quality and see more of what's going on than excellent quality in a tiny box.

I found out recently that if you email C4S support they can give you temporary access to ALL videos you have ever uploaded (including ones you may have deleted). This access also allows you to download the videos from your store.

Does anyone know how to link stores to one another? I know in the "edit clip site" tab there's the space for "grouping stores together". I've tried putting both the long link to my store (http://www.clips4sale.com/77703) and just the store number (77703) in that space on both stores and it doesn't end up linking them. Has anyone had this problem before? Am I doing something wrong or is it something worth bugging support over?

I'm also having problems with hyperlinking my social media sites onto my second store. I used the same code I have on my first store to link them, but on the second store they don't work. The stores been active for longer then 2 weeks, so I'm assuming I just have to bug support about that one?

Shows all of the C4S categories along with how many clips are included in each category. This might be helpful to both studios and members.

Note: You can also search to page with "ctrl F". A small area to type should show on your screen, then type the word you're searching for on the page. This won't work on all devices of course though, but it should on Windows PCs.

You can do them however you would like.

I personally charge them the full price ahead of time, and use dropbox to email the clip to them.

Some other girls upload them to C4S with the custom amount where they can purchase it.

Some also charge them a custom fee ahead of time, then upload the clip to C4S with a "regular" price (so they first pay the custom fee, then also pay for the clip in the store). So, the total amount comes to the agreed price.

Just wanted to post a little add on to Rose's thing about payment: when you have ACH (the only payment I've had so far besides check) it can be deposited between the 5th & the 7th. So try not to panic too much if it isn't falling on the same day every month.

Not sure if this part has been updated or not, but they've now changed it so that all payments are processed by the 7th at the latest. This means your payment will definitely be processed and heading your way by the 7th. :thumbleft:

I've noticed since I started following C4Supdates my eyes are drawn more to clips that include what category they're in in the title, but that's not really true for me when I'm actually browsing around C4S (especially since I'm not sure how many non-producers actually follow that twitter :lol: ).

Unless it's more mainstream clips, like my boy/girl or solo stores, then the porn-y titles don't seem to sell better than non-porn-y titles. When it comes to the mainstream clips though, the pornyier the better. My Breakfast Blowjob and Young MILF Hungry for Cock! sell really well and they have extremely porn-y titles. :twocents-02cents:

A catching title, obscene or not, will always be more likely to garner attention and sales.

Ladies, this could be a great backup if you ever find your videos have been pirated, whether they were from Clips4sale or not. I'm also seriously considering getting into femdom and have been reworking my plans to maybe also make a store just for those clips (as per Larkin Love's awesome comments about her femdom store). It's very much a 'Love it or Hate it' category and I don't want to drive people away from my main store that aren't into it.

But that would leave me with 3 stores to manage. Would it be worth it to split things up like that? Am I being too paranoid about freaking people out with either the Dom clips and/or bathroom clips? :?

I have never had a problem!! You can check the Clips4Sale Challenge thread and look at my numbers. You can also contact Clips4sale and they will manually move your store!! I would 100 percent put FemDom in another store; this is what I did because of what Larkin Love stated. Its a great decision and I recommend it 100 percent. My submissive wont do intense things and I am going to meet with 2 more subs next week to shoot with to do more crazy shit with (super exited). You queue up other clips in between them. So let's say you have clip A and clip B, you'd queue them so that it went clip A.wmv clip B.wmv and then the second format of clip A.

I emailed a Clips4Sale rep to find out how to make my studio only show one preview per video on my studio's 1st page (a la Larkin Love: http://clips4sale.com/46868), and this was their awesome response...

in general you can do a HD WMV and MP4 and an SD WMV and MP4. You need to change the studio to DISPLAY ORDER -> ASCENDING under the EDIT CLIP SITE tab. Once it's set to that you go into your LIST CLIPS page and edit your clips so that you choose a DISPLAY ORDER for each. I do it as follows:

All HD MP4s = Display Order 0

All HD WMVs = Display Order 100

All SD MP4s = Display Order 200

All SD WMVs = Display Order 300

The system will sort by the display order set and then by date, so as you add new clips they will always be at the beginning of each display order number.

So when someone goes to your clip studio (showing the first page), they'll see one preview for each new video (assuming you have enough individual videos to fill a page), but if they go back enough pages they'll eventually run into the second and third video format previews as well. Hope that makes sense!

You can kinda post them anywhere really. Just make sure to let people know where they link. Best best would probably be to click the "clip store" button then the "edit clip site" button then put it in the top HTML.
