Oh yeah it's very likely they will be uploaded somewhere, probably guaranteed if you're on a major cam site

I think the main thing that makes them not so much of a problem for OP is that they need to be found to be a problem, and to be found you need to know they exist and what to search for

If they are no longer camming, deleted profiles, the risks immediately drop

As long as OP wasn't incredibly uniquely hot and didn't do anything extremely unusual (both things that would make her video more likely to be shared), it's 99.9999% likely they will be buried under the avalanche of other capped videos and never see human eyes again

In the coming years I wouldn't be surprised if many of these capping sites no longer available anyway

In the coming years I would expect social attitudes to change around stuff like cam work and it no longer be so scandalous

I think as far as I know OP only cammed on SM? Unless they mentioned another site elsewhere and I missed it.
You can't really paint all camsites with the same brush when it comes to capping. Since no action happens in free chat on SM rooms don't get botted and capped then automatically uploaded like what happens with MFC/CB.
Now, Streamate itself does pull shows and uses them in "promotional material", but that's mostly gold shows (which OP didn't earn enough to even get approved for), or shows from popular models that they know will drive traffic.
Since OP was relatively unknown and spent a very minimal amount of time in paid chat, I'm willing to bet they flew entirely under the radar.

i'm not going to make a youtube channel, i think its definately too risky, thank you for your response. do you think i should delete any other social media?

You said you cammed for a month or two? How many hours were you online?

I'd say unless you were a super serious cammer, that was on 10+hrs a week, doing shows all the time, with a big Twitter presence with your cam persona, there's no reason to get rid of your "real life" social media footprint. I'd venture a guess that if there are any videos of you online, there's only ONE video of you online. I've been camming for 5 years, have hosted cam events, done tons of g/g shows, did well on MFC and SM, done professional shoots on mainstream porn sites, and (including the professional stuff) I only have about 20 or so videos of me out there. From over 5 years of camming.

For anyone to find out about your camming they'd need to stumble across your one video, out of all the free porn videos, out of all the free tube sites out there, and recognize you.

Just keep the fact that you cammed to yourself (DON'T tell your friends, the odds are if you get outed it'll be by a "friend" who sought out your video after you told them about it), ask SM to close your account (forget about the ID thing, they aren't going to share your ID or SSN with anyone other than the IRS), and change your name on any real life social media from "FirstName LastName" to something like "FirstName MiddleName" or "Nickname LastName".

Unless you used your real name in connection with your cam stuff, odds are, you're gonna be fine.

is there a good chance that i dont have any videos or do you think its likely that i have at least one, if that is the case, do you think that i should contact streamate to ask where it might have been uploaded to? or do you know where i could look for it to ask it to be taken down?

if i ever do anything remotely media related, do you think this will come up? also with regard to the ID thing, is it even legal for them to hold onto it after i have asked them to remove it from their systems?
thank you for your reply it was really helpful

i was only on streamate.

is there a good chance that i dont have any videos or do you think its likely that i have at least one,

Google your SM username in quotes, example "humdrum" see if anything comes up related to you, look on images too

Then try searching "username" "streamate" together, see if anything comes up and then look on images and see if there's anything there

Then try "username" "video" see if anything comes up that's you, look on images

Oh you can also do "username" "caps"

Don't be alarmed if video previews do instantly pop up, might not be of you. Also some spammy porn website just put certain words together but don't actually have a video or anything

If you can't find anything that's you, not likely there is anything (or at least it's near impossible to find)

Then after even if you can't find anything if you're very paranoid delete your search history on your computer, delete your search history on your google account (if you're logged in) - maybe better to search on a chrome incognito window

ps. Someone else might be able to suggest a better way of searching google or another way entirely that I don't know of

It's probably pretty safe for you to assume that you have none anywhere. Don't bother contacting Streamate about it because they won't be able to help you.
You're most likely safe with most social media as well. It comes down to the fact that you just weren't seen by that many people.
Streamate definitely needs to hold on to your ID/information for tax purposes and to cover their own asses. They can't remove it from their systems since they're legally required to have the documents proving that models who cammed for them were doing so legally. They don't share this information with anyone so it's no big deal.

Thank you a lot I did this, nothing came up under Every suggestion I tried, I am getting nervous that I should just stop searching it, (like the more my username comes up on google the more things might reappear) I'm also wondering if they ever posted anything like : 'brunette student' or something like that instead of my username.
Thanks again, I think now I really need to try and just move forward

If nothing came up under your actual username then nothing will come up under brunette student.

Any generic term you can search will come up with a million other women who fit that description and something like brunette student wouldn't even go straight to porn sites anyway much less the one recording of you that may or may not even exist.

not all cammers earn a lot many are just sitting all day waiting but only have few costumers or even worse none it depends on how appealing u are. i have been to some porn tube sites and seen some accounts that upload their private shows of streamate & chaturbate models he paid there to be seen publicly well he buys that so he can do what he wants with it. u should have think twice before u become a cam porn star they are really being put in the tube sites sometimes just for fun. if u want u can check every tube sites even to the deepest page and see if u have been posted. but if have, too bad some of the tube sites dont even have to comply to dmca removing or even if u contact them they will not remove it.

Feels like my turn. (forgive my not-perfect english).

I cam for...dear God...7 years? Yeah... Started quite early I was 21 or 22. First 3 years I was working on a site which forbids public shows, so the risk of being recorded was really small. I was feeling comfortable. I never thought that someone could record lol. I think it was coming from my naive/good nature ''I wouldnt do that to someone, why someone would do that to me'', describe it however You want..stupidity, lack of imagination, whatever. But the fact is camming was much more safe years ago, internet was still fresh thing and I never heard of cap-sites until 2014 when I first saw my mfc public sessions being recorded daily.
So anyway.
After 3 years I moved to mfc after found out I can get 50% $ more. At the beginning I did handful amount of public shows, then stopped because people started tipping me for just being me (how common lol). But was still doing privates from time to time.
Year ago I panicked after a pirate site refused taking my stolen content down. It was just me being naked but I realized You can't control it 100%. Even if it's an unpopular shitty site full of malware You still panic lol. Of course I never heard of those sites before. I found out from google. For the first time ever I took a look at webcam categories on most popular tube sites and saw thousands of videos ''hot babe rides her dildo'' and my brain exploded even more lol. How many of my no-named videos is out there??
I was near to depression. For few weeks all I was doing..I went through ALL pages of webcam category on pornhub, youporn, redtube, xvideos, xhamster and few less popular. Im serious LOL. During all that time I found less than 10 videos total, one of them were repeating and it had a watermark from one of forum-kind capsites. The rest was some topless blah-blah public chat. Anyway, everything taken from capsites we all know.
So lesson learnt (how early huh). What did I do next? Well, I calmed down a little, I went through crazy thousands of pages so I have more realistic point of view now. First of all I've learnt how their sick minds work. I opened new mfc account, changed my name, and first what I've done right after I blocked every single country responsible for capping. 90% from them are from Europe. Russia, Netherlands, even Germany and few smaller. For 7 years I never met anyone from Russia supporting me with tips so whatever, Netherlands are tiny so f**k it, Germany...maybe they got a big part in MFC but I cam at very late europe time so I'm sure I don't suffer from it too much. I also don't care about room count and people who judge a model by it. I was still able to make friends coming back everyday. I was still able to reach 5k camscore level. And no, I didn't make it with old members, most of them forgot me during my absence. For nearly 6 months I don't appear on any capsite. Half of Europe is blocked and I'm still doing very good. I know, I cam for years, some may still upload my old content using my new name but I feel much better/safer now. Logically, less see You less dig for You. Meanwhile DMCA company I pay for last few months was able to take that unwanted video down, but there is another similar site we all know which got some sh*t uploaded by people who like to trade as private. Those kind of dudes never share their videos for public view and always get pissed when some of their rare content leak. LOL I still can't believe that people can waste their life for such bullshit. Well, some read books, some collect seashells and some trade porn xD Dumbasses.
Every single video I found was added to the system which prevents from future uploads on most popular tube sites and many others. I tried it myself out of curiosity, works magnificent, sites block it while video is compressing as a copyright violation. I haven't done a public show for years but I also stopped doing privates with randomers (hell knows their intentions).

Dear humdrum, I wrote it to help You look at it from a detailed perspective. All my videos I found were there 1-3 years before I found them. They had between 1k-10k views. During all that paranoia last year one of members said: if You haven't been found after so many years, what is the possibility You will in the future? Especially now after You did so well removing stuff and stopped doing explicit shows, wait - ANY shows. My room is for hangin out, chatting and boob flash once a blue moon.
Even if someone seen me... nothing has reached me lol. Even if someone seen me, I bet he would treat this incident as a guilty pleasure, know what I mean? Porn is like..everyone watch it but nobody talks about it. Also, men are not such assholes as women. If we take a woman who saw You and a guy who saw You I give 90% to a woman that she would out a model she knows. And who watch webcam stuff on tube sites? Men.
This whole ''been outed'' subject consist of so many threads I could talk about this for hours.
I am a veteran, so sure, I heard of many tragedies but 9/10 of them are cases where a model TOLD someone, example: a boyfriend who became an asshole, a friend who became an asshole. About 4 years ago my ex bf was trying to intimidate me to get money from me. After 8 years of knowing each other. After eight f***n years. Thank God he didn't know my cam name and I found something he wouldnt like to be shared too LOL. Another case, a model been outed to her mom, but she shared her real FB with a member who were tipping a lot and seemed to be caring, easy going etc. Once she refused dating him - bam. Screenshots went to her mom.
First rule: If You cam - STFU.
If about being found while broadcasting.. (You cammed only 2 months so its not Your case but I'll explain anyway). Recently I've watched few model's tutorials on YT how to become a camgirl. All of them were saying everybody gonna find out for sure. Family, friends, just everyone. If they were right, Amber's forum would be full of ''I regret'' threads considering that almost every camgirl works in secret.
Moreover, camgirls from those tutorials are americans and they cam on AMERICAN sites. If You cam on a site where 70% of the audience are people from Your country, You getting succesfull and showing Your face..then of course people will find out. Also, blocking states doesn't work as precisely as in Europe between countries. But if You are let's say romanian, You cam on american site..You block Your country, keep Your mouth shut and don't do public shows (means privates only) then the risk of being found is really tiny. But of course, none of us can eliminate the risk totally.
I'll also show You what the DMCA company worker told me. I will hide model names and bad sites.

''I'm really sorry it's weighing so heavily on your mind. I think it's
perfectly normal to be concerned and want to exhaust all the search
options to see if you can find something out there, but considering how
little nude content appears to be available for you, the likelihood of
it spreading in any significant way is probably pretty slim. The generic
titled videos you see on Xvideos for N****, A*****, etc, are for the most
part taken from "archives" of videos for models that have a lot of
explicit or nude content available. I can tell you, we have a few
clients who are retired non-nude models who did a couple of b/g or
otherwise very explicit shows on Chaturbate early in their camming
careers. Neither of them were particularly high profile models. A couple
of the videos are on xxx.com, and one other frustrating site, but I have
never come across them anywhere else, whereas I remove at least 15-20 of
the generically titled videos for the likes of N**** and A***** every week.

And if your main concern is someone you know in real life coming across
your videos, I would say the odds are probably astronomical, considering
the amount of camgirl content is out there, and that MFC isn't as well
known in your area as it is in the US, UK, etc.

I completely understand that it's got you a little freaked out, but I
would say try not to worry about it too much.''

I'll give You some more math. Pornhub statistics say that a visitor spend approximately 10 minutes on a site.
While I was looking for myself I had to go through thousands of pages before I found any of my videos. So what are the odds for You who cam just for 2 months? Yeah, there are ppl addicted to porn but we can't overthink this much, we would go crazy. Btw, someone above correctly said, that if You haven't found any video with Your name, there is 99% possible its not there AT ALL.

Listen there been weeks I was waking up in the middle of the night, seriously. It's been a while and now I'm just like...f**k it, I'm tired. People get older, are busy working, raising their kids. We all watch porn, but people who spend hours on it are kids going through puberty and some freaky nolifes. Moreover, know what happened to me lately? Before I became an independend model I was working for a studio on the first site, and then few months on mfc before someone told me I can be my own boss. The studio owner was coming to my chatroom very often, he saw me in person too. Last month he spoke to me on a dating site lol and guess what? He didn't recognize me! lol he wanted to hook up. Hahaha. We had serious argument about money so I'm sure he wouldn't speak if he knew its me. And I have never camouflage myself on cam or had plastic surgery since then lol.
I wrote a little essay and I could a lot more but it makes no sense. So take my odds and divide it by 100. These are Your odds.

Best regards:)
