The fact that you feel there isn't enough info here and still haven't Googled means that you're probably not cut out for being a camgirl, and I'll tell you why.

What is it that you feel you are missing about camming? Pretty often, especially this time of year, there is an influx of girls who ask for advice on how to start camming. But, what they really mean to do is start camming without being treated like someone who does it. They ask what they should do or shouldn't do and eventually it comes out that they don't want the stigma attached to them. They don't want their family to find out. They don't want to stand in front of an accountant and feel shame. I know that this thread went sideways on you, and my tone is probably not distinguishable. I'm not being snarky here. If what you really want to know is how to avoid the dark stuff that comes with being one of us, all you can do is NOT turn on the camera.

If you're not part of the influx of girls who want dream money without the stink of social abnormality, the truth is there's not THAT much you need to know. There's not a test. It is mostly street smarts over book smarts once you're on. Plenty of camgirls are educated. That probably helps, but you don't have to be smart to be a successful camgirl. Maybe because of the stereotypes associated with girls who make bank off their tits, it's not something we yell. Maybe it's not even a popular opinion around here? I'd take a minute to point out a few insecure rich girls right now, but I'm sure we can all think of a few on our own. Some girls could probably sit in front of the camera drooling and still rake it in. As long as they have a good accountant and follow safety precautions, they're all good. Unfortunately, unless you change the attitude a little bit, I honestly doubt you'll be verified at all, no matter how often you post. Model's Only is a place for active models who can be trusted with a little bit more personal information, who can be counted on to treat their fellow models with respect. It's a privilege, not a right. Which means that getting snarky with people who are trying to help isn't doing you any favors, and is only hurting your chances of actually becoming verified. Something to keep in mind.

Tbh I did think your first comment was kinda rude but it's probably all blown out of proportion at this point. Generally speaking this is a friendly and supportive community; that's why everyone stands up for each other and rallies around to say "hey, fuck that" when someone's criticizing the space/the models. Whew thanks for this response. Ive told my whole family sans my father and kids. I dont know what it is that I think I dont know or havent read up on. I just dont know. Now Im definitely starting to feel like the other forum is not so important at this beginner stage due to all the comments. I sat my goal at $150/week camming 5 days for 6 hours a day starting at 9am
