Something makes me doubt this. Historically speaking Chaturbate has a consistent record of being dumb beyond words, and shows no sign of changing.

Yup. Chaturbate reminds me of the old joke about the Arabs. "The Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity." Substitute, Chaturbate for Arabs.

It's sad too, since CB has the vastly superior website (MFC looks like it's still stuck in 2006), and much more user friendly... well... everything, compared to MFC.

Vastly superior... minus the random banning without reason and the horrid model support. You treat your models like shit.. you end up with no models.

To be fair.... no staff=no website. A company in any industry can have a fabulous website, but if their staff is shit-- they'll eventually go under. A company can have a bleh website (or in some cases, NO website) but with an excellent staff they can still grow and flourish.

Adult industry just enables the shit staffed companies to last longer than in other industries, because there are always new girls to take advantage of until they learn better and move elsewhere.

In all honesty-- I can't call a web based company's website superior if the staff that supports it is crap. That goes for CB, SM, and any other number of sites with some serious issues in the staffing department.

I'll take palm trees and green/white over ridiculous hardcore porn ads any day.

I'm fascinated that anyone thinks chaturbate looks better? It always looks more crowded to me and like not as intuitive or clear of a layout. The homepage looks a bit chaotic imo.

Hated that green for a while. Got used to it don't even notice it any more.
Every time I go poking around CB, I notice that glaring lack of updated previews when hovering over the cams.

Agreed, I think chaturbates design is way more dated and hideously cluttered. The only bonus I can see is that they have a better image quality. Otherwise in ease of navigation, chat room and overall site design MFC is far superior to me.

On the other hand MFC's color scheme is no less than iconic these days (hell st. pattys day felt like MFC day when I was walking around) and the site is laid out like a newspaper, so no matter what your internet knowledge you'll likely be able to find your way around intuitively. It's not sleek and ultra modern but it's user friendly to the max!

Keep in mind that's relative to the quality of the staff. When Instagram got bought by Facebook for a Billion dollars, Instagram only had 13 employees.

MFC just makes me cringe. the myspacey tackiness of it. the tiny thumbnails that aren't even of cams but just random pictures ... so you have no clue what's even worth clicking on, you'd just have to hover and wait, hover and wait, hover and wait, line after line, page after page, hoping to find something ok

...I have to admit it is annoying though when you see something good on CB, then you get in the room and that was sooooo 10 seconds ago. you missed out.

but since I can glance across the CB main page and find something good quicker than I can get 2 or 3 MFC chats to hover/load, I think it's a pretty fair trade-off.

You do know that on MFC it's a setting whether you see avatars (your "random" pictures) or cam previews? You can also set them to animated, set the refresh time, etc.

naa, had no idea.
would I have to sign up for that? (never bothered to sign up since they don't allow males anyway. I'm happy to just tip fellow CBers)

If you go to the bottom of the page, even as a guest you can change that setting which means you can see the cam preview but it will change each time you go to the site, while if you make an account (I believe even a basic account) it will save your settings.

I agree that I think Myfreecams is a very easy site to navigate. I also like that they only show the models who are currently online unless you make a search. I don't know if CB does this but I've noticed other sites having models who aren't online all over the front pages etc. That surely just makes it hard to find a live cam. I also like that you get so many models on the first page without having to move to the next page.

MFC's green colour scheme, palm trees etc. used to annoy me at first but I've grown to like them over the years and I would miss them now if they changed it. It is a bit tacky, but in a kinda retro way... and retro is cool these days. MFC is easy to navigate, has galaxies better support for both members and models, plus no tacky ads on the homepage. It's a no-brainer... MFC wins by a clear mile. :)

yep. definitely prefer that, myself, too.

Maybe losing such a popular model will force Chaturbate to look at their ban practices.
And maybe this wasn't exactly an unintentional things, since it was such a big model. I wouldn't be surprised to find out some big name models have orchestrated similar situations just to either 1. encourage sites to fix these sorts of issues. 2. drive traffic from one site to another. Kati3kat has been pushing MFC real hard lately, and it would make sense to want to give extra incentive to her chaturbate traffic to get over to MFC (especially since like others have said, she has no reason to return to CB).

That said, I'm not saying that's what I think happened, just that I wouldn't be surprised if it was. I can't see it being very effective at executing the first point, but for the second, it seems plausible, to me.

I'm not familiar to CB, but could this also be turned around and other models make false claims against a big model to get her banned thinking it will improve their status?

Hehe..this happened over a year ago.
I don't think Kati3 ever returned to cb :)
