RIP Lou Reed



I've been a fan for about 40 years, since I heard Walk on the Wild Side. His music helped see me through my brother's suicide. I will miss Lou Reed very much.

It is sad. He's definitely one of the pioneers. I found a tribute video. Rest in peace, Lou.

I looked on YouTube for a studio version of "Rock and Roll" for 10 minutes--but came up pretty much empty...

I just heard a strange version of this song on a commercial a day or two ago--it really caught me off-guard--so it stuck out in my mind. The original is an absolute classic:
