Webcamming is allowed in Thailand, but porn is not.

Webcamming is being on cam, it can mean your doing nudity and or porn, or staying clothed and just talking to people.

Please don't be a smart ass here. Regardless you are "victim" of MM's investment scam or you just don't like her, please shut up here. We are sick of tired of hearing your opinion. So you are saying nude camming is "legal" in Thai? Are you practicing law over there?

Thank you for keeping this thread peaceful.

I was putting nudity and porn in same category. Are you one of her deluded white knights?

In fact, I think that Mila's resistance to abiding the law (her other speculated misdeeds aside) could be seen as fighting for the right to do as she pleases with her body so long as it's not harming anyone. When she gets out she'll probably brush the accusations of explotations under the rug and say that she was doing it to draw attention to women's rights and stuff like that.

Is this for real? Like, do people really do these mental gymnastics to convince themselves something is right? Gotta add that if you have the willpower to respect other countries cultures, Dubai is the shit.
What about my post makes it "mental gymnastics"? Maybe you should back that up with why you think that or else not quote me. :thumbleft:

Everything about it. I won't quote you again.

But we all have Human Rights endowed to us by our creator. Just because a right isn't stated in a constitution or law, doesn't mean it's still not your right where ever you happen to be in the world

Pokerbabe,

Human rights is when the guy that supports an opposition party to the ruling party of a country is taken off the streets and held against his will.

Human rights is when the girl that dis-honours her family has her vagina mutilated.

Human rights is NOT people making a lot of money from something which is illegal in that country

I was giving a true example regarding the guy in prison as to how people now use human rights as an excuse for everything these days.
Your basically saying sod all the laws ever made, in other words Anarchy.

I think it could be an argument... Sure, the Thai government was within their rights in arresting Mila. She violated a law that she knew about. But I think what poker babe is saying is that we should defend our rights to our bodies and that camming should be allowed. If a country passed a law that mandated execution of the weak or unhealthy then human rights activists would be at that country's throat. You wouldn't tell a cancer patient they couldn't live/work/visit there. You would fight the law.
THANK YOU!!!! That's exactly what I was getting at. Look, I guess deep down inside, I'm just a Libertarian at heart. It's the red blooded American in me that believes everyone is born a sovereign with inalienable rights.

Well, it doesn't matter what you call her 'resistance to abiding the law', she's currently caught committing a crime red um..handed, on Thai soil, living there as a resident. They got her dead to rights on that. And let's be serious, she's not curing cancer or fighting for anything, but if a cancer patient moved TO Thailand either knowing for finding out subsequently that they were not legally permitted to be there and then remained then as horrible as that is they knew the risks and did it anyway...
To suggest Mila didn't know it was illegal is ludicrous. She very likely knew it was before she ever went there, and has had opportunities to move elsewhere since. She chose to stay. As harsh as the law is, she knowingly broke it.

Most large tippers don't ask for anything in return from the model. Maybe your room is different. If for every paying customer that leaves, there are 10 more waiting in line, what are those 10 others waiting for? I wasn't aware of any limit on the number of people allowed into a model's room. Get over yourself.

You dont know what anyone other than yourself asks for. You dont see all the interaction between tippers and models. There is plenty behind the scenes that you dont see. Get over your self. Just because a tipper might not ask for anything in return doesnt mean anyone cares what he has to say about them getting implants or tattoos.

Sure, I could have worded it differently but you can argue this all you want, no matter how many tippers leave, there will always be more. Fact.

Not sure how true this is for all models. I know plenty of studio models that don't like camming but still have to do it to get through school. Tons of models can't get a job for whatever reason and camming is their only option. You might have other means to get money but for some models camming is the only way to support their families.

Of course there are models who cam because its the best income in their situations. Maybe they dont have transportation, or the experience to work other jobs....etc. I could have worded that differently too and said I instead of generalizing.

Regardless, this isnt what the argument was about. I still stand by what I said. Even for models who feel that they have to cam to get by, there will always be other tippers if someone doesnt like what models do to their bodies.

I'm in no way advocating for an anarchy. I believe that people should be free to live however they choose to live so long as it doesn't violate the rights of others.

Not sure why you feel the need to keep bringing up implants and tattoos to me - I've never mentioned them

You obviously haven't been in the rooms where it's a big deal when 1 or 2 premiums are in the room.

@MFCtourist I keep bringing it up because thats what MY post was referring to. Maybe you should read what my original post was replying to. I cant control that you chose to pick it apart and make it seem like I was referring to anything other than that.

Anyway, Im done derailing this thread. Id be glad to carry on else where if someone starts a thread for another subject ;)

Someone could turn in ANY of you into your landlord. Yes, running a business from home is generally not tolerated by landlords, and shooting porn from home certainly isn't. Absolutely no landlord would allow that. None. Nor is it welcome in any conservative area even if you are a home owner. You ALL could be in a similar situation if your landlord found out and was pissed off enough about it.

I'm a landlord and I allow it. Both home operations and camming. I had one camgirl tenant last year, and currently have a graphic designer that works from home in one place.

so....yeah it's cool with me. :twocents-02cents:

You know what guys... Maybe I just shouldn't have opened my big mouth. Hopefully you guys understand what I'm trying to say here, and know that I only ever had good intentions. I apologize for offending anyone. I'm just gonna' leave it at that and shut my trap now.

Your original post said "We dont care what you guys think. Thats what people need to get. And to think your opinion even matters to us is laughable." I don't care if you're referring to tattoos, breast implants, hair color, or the price of gasoline. The fact is that you don't care what we think and it's "laughable" to think that our opinion matters to "us" (you said "us" which seems to imply you were speaking on behalf of every cam model). In your MFC profile, you state "I don't look at you guys as MFC members, i see you as my friends." We all know that's a lie now.

You never have to be sorry for who you are. Although you and I disagree on a lot of ideological crap, I've always recognized your humanity. Generosity, thoughtfulness, kindness, loyalty, many more. These are neither libertarian nor progressive values--they are human values, and that is why I support you.

I'm all for laws that protect us and regulate commerce, banking, and other things important for societies to exist. But I don't care what country I'm in, if the law is regulating my bedroom, thoughts, or any victimless activity, then that law is an ass. Yeah, I'm a social libertarian, and an economic progressive.

PokerBabe,

I admire your heart to fight for people's freedoms. Unfortunately, I also think that other people need to be free to decide what freedoms they want to have. It's up to the people of Thailand to decide whether or not they want camming to be legal there. It's not our right to say anything about that.

Laws and practices which harm others, yeah, we have a duty to stop that. But a law which prevents someone from doing something, unless that thing is necessary to survival or procreation, we shouldn't step in. We need to let them free themselves.

Focus your attention here in the US. There are many places in the US where it's illegal to own sex toys. Where prostitution is illegal. Where porn is illegal. We need to fix that.

Oh dear god, thank you tourist for that laugh.

One, I find it funny that you stalk my profile when you seem to want to argue with me so much :thumbleft: Get a hobby, please.

Two, I dont care what anyone thinks. That doesn't mean I dont appreciate the regs who appreciate me. People like you I couldnt care less about. I can respect someones opinion, it doesnt mean I have to care enough to follow it.

"We all know thats a lie now" Im sorry, how does me not caring what anyone thinks have to do with me not seeing them as money bags?

Again, youre picking my posts apart to find something to bitch about. Yes, it is LAUGHABLE to think your opinion on what I do to my body matters. Thats what my post was about. I can pick apart everything anyone says referring to any topic and make it about something else but I do have better things to do. I suggest you get a hobby.

You definitely like hearing yourself argue, so Im gonna let you entertain yourself from now on :handgestures-salute:

I don't think you offended anyone, and your heart is in the right place. Just keep doing what you do.

Oh and...I'd prefer if you stepped away from my sandwich there...yeah I saw you creeping up on it. :snooty:

How can so many people be enraged when a large portion of what has been talked about are speculations and nothing more? Let's face it folks, we do not have the entire story and we'll most likely not get it. So, let's calm the fuck down already, drink some chamomile tea & masturbate. I don't know if ya'll know this but cumming feels fucking amazing.

That is all.

So I have read this whole thread.

My points.

1) It sucks for Mila and her family that this happened.
1.1) Not really a fan of Mila, never really watched her show other then a few minutes.
2) If there was a video of bust, yes I would watch it. You want to understand why? Read the lyrics to Tool's Vicarious.
3) I prefer natural tits and no tats. My gf has enhanced her body with both. I still love her.
4)All those Thai models who had their profiles closed, didn't get paid last pay day. (ok, i don't know for sure all, but the few I talked to didn't get paid by mfc.) Guessing maybe to protect models from police tracking payment?

It would be nice if MFC gave the models who profiles they closed some info into what is going on. Will they get their last check?

Camming is legal in Thailand, it just depends on what the webcam model is doing.

Oh please. If you read my comment in full you'll have seen that I said I think the whole thing is an awful thing to happen but if you deny that you want to see what happened then you're just fooling yourself. I didn't want to express any opinions on backwards Thai law or go into any length about how she was used as an easy target by a lazy police force and I sincerely wish her all the best in this and hope she's released soon but it's not as though I know her well or have any connections to her. I spoke to her once and she seemed like a nice person. I told her that she came across as intimidating to men but after chatting to her my opinion of her changed.
I would still like to see what happened though and someone must have capped the moment (people always do) which surely must have been spectacular with police kicking down the door with guns and such. I expect in time Mila would want to see it again too; it's a traumatic thing to happen sure, but it's still a cool story to tell people when it's all in the past.
OK first off, that was ur very first post on the forum, so probably not the smoothest introduction. Two, yeah, we are all human beings that get curious, if video of the bust was available to watch, I'm sure I'd check it out. Three, have you ever been raided and arrested before??? I doubt that she would ever find the video of her being raided as cool to watch. When I was 13, the task force kicked in the door of my home, raided the whole house, and arrested my mother. The whole experience was humiliating and left us all feeling very violated, and I even hesitated saying anything about it just now. I just imagined what it would have felt like if that would have happened in front of hundreds of ppl watching over the internet, and I can tell you that I am soooooooooooo grateful that it only happened in front of the neighbors now. That is not something I would care to relive by watching a video of EVER.
But I guess I can't fault you too bad for being naive... Noob mistakes... We've all done them.
I'd say the two situations are significantly different. Both were traumatic of course but yours was embarrassing and very sad whereas her situation was just plain wrong. OK so she broke the law but it's a silly, pretentious and hypocritical law and I doubt she has any regrets or feels ashamed over the whole thing whereas what happened to you was something you obviously felt awful about afterwards. I'm assuming there was a legitimate reason to raid your home of course, not that I want to pry into your family's difficult past. When Mila is released she could show people the footage as a trophy piece, showing how stupidly over the top and unnecessary the whole thing was. It's the stuff of cop shows and the like. If you disagree, that's up to you but I'm not being malicious here.

So someone made complaints to gofundme about the fundraiser for Mila, and the site decided to shut it down and refund everyone's money... WTF. Some people need to get a life.

Someone said in another thread that GoFundMe isn't adult-friendly. I'm not sure if there are any adult-friendly fundraising programs out there that cam girls can use, because ChipIn is out of question too (since they're linked with PayPal). I admire your efforts though, Poker_Babe.

And I agree that some people do need to get a life. One of our forum lurkers spends a lot of time on Twitter doggin' MFC models, putting them on blast, and then laughing about it with his Twitter buddies. It's really pathetic.

There is a crowdfunding site that is for adult related projects: Offbeatr. But I'm not sure if a Mila Milan funding will be on their criteria. Ben Tao (@benicway), co-founder of extralunchmoney.com, is the co-founder of this crowdfunding site.
