Would it be possible to have standardized social media links on models' profiles or, ideally, right next to their cam feed? Having links to Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, etc. would make it a lot easier for models to get followers and they wouldn't have to spam chat with ads or put it in their topic.

The option for models to input their Twitter, Instagram, and personal website exists. Their isn't an option for snapchat since most models will use that to earn tokens. So, it comes down to what the model would like to provide.

I was thinking the snapchat button would just open a tip window with the amount for snapchat set by the model. Basically like an offline tip on mfc but pre filled out. Just to save models from having to advertise it in their room, but certainly not necessary.

I understand. We have a spoil me section on the model profile page. A model can make a button for that and a member can tip. Then once the model comes online she will see the tips for snapchat and can send the info to your HHC Mail. This option already exists. Is this similar to your thought? A different variation but it achieves the same result. The only issue is that the model has to create the button is the model does not want to continually advertise.

Just looked at the web banner for the site. Pretty sweet using an AVN banner that has Aspen on it .... Now that shes taken the turn for more GG stuff with "real porngirls", it should bring a few more eyes. :eyebrows:

Thank you! And yes, as a model please promote yourself as much as possible. I encourage the use of Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. If you have a personal site, in essence that is an extension of yourself and important for promotion, as well.
What about other website on a slightly different market, i.e. ManyVids profiles?

Questions:
  • why a 4 split screens option? wouldn't it be simpler for customers to open as many tabs/windows they wish?
  • will your website be compatible with mobile/tablets?
  • which technology have you chosen for your streams? Apple HLS or RTMP with Flash?
  • what resolution will you be providing? You said "HD" but what kind exactly? Will you stream a constant resolution like 640×480 for everyone or will it depend on model own webcams?
  • what kind of search function will you provide? By area (what grain? countries/continents?)? Physical features? Tags (set by models or customers?)?
  • Do you have Geo blocking implemented? What banning function do you have? Temp ban? Perm Ban? Shadow ban? Ignore functions? Chat flood detection? Will it be available to customers too?
  • Do you have fancy idiotic things? Custom emoticons, gif in chat…
  • Do you intend to allow for custom app like Chaturbate?
  • what kind of "flow" do you intend to build? Purely sex oriented shows or will you try to get various type of entertainment (dancing, paintings, gaming…)
  • What will be the default sorting? Camscore based? Number of people? Ratings?
  • If ratings there is, how will it work? can it be split by service provided? like public chat/group chat/private chat?
  • I don't really like your current design, looks like a chaturbate clone, and as said by models, a separate fully customizable profile page would be cooler.
  • What is your position on capping? Will your company send DMCAs to filesharing sites?
  • Will there be a place for members to interact with other members? Like a "Lounge" without the cam part maybe. I think building a community and having a social aspect is important to keep people hooked.
  • About the Friends option, is it a mutual friend thing or more like a bookmark friend thing?
  • Asking for ID is definitively a deal breaker. Only an experienced paiement processor should have access to these things. I don't know if you heard about the Ashley Madison hack recently but even if the website seems "trustworthy", customers have no way of knowing how secure their databases actually are.
  • More generally, how do you think your website will stand out? What is the quality will make models and customers alike think "hey, this camsite is pretty rad" "hey i will leave my X000 follow base to start anew there"

I would hope models will take the videos they have made and upload them to their profile on this website. Models can upload their videos to their profile and set unique passwords to each video. A member pays for a video and all the model needs to do is provide the member the password....simple.

This is quite the list of questions. I am going to be selective in how I answer. Once the website is live, models and members will see the answers to all these questions.

1. The split screen option is a feature to unlock. Some members may enjoy multiple windows and some may not. So, this feature comes down to who enjoys what. This provides an additional experience if the member chooses to use it. Remember, we are not forcing anyone to conform to specific features; members have a choice.
2. The website will be compatible to mobile/tablets.
3. I will not reveal the tech being incorporated at this time. Once the website is live, everyone will see it.
4. The video quality will be a constant stream.
5. The search feature is very thorough. The answer is yes to all you have highlighted.
6. Geo banning exists. There is also temp silencing and permanent banning.
7. Members can add idiotic emoticons in chat.
8. As of now a custom app is not desired (assuming you speak of mobile apps).
9. Whoever wants to be a model that fits the female and transgender requirements, may do so.
10. There is no camscore.
11. No current rating system.
12. I have viewed CB pages and this website cannot be classified as a CB clone. We have many things CB does not. We believe our design is organized and clean, that is what we wanted. Unfortunately, not everyone will agree and that is ok.
13. We will send DMCAs.
14. Members can interact with other members and befriend members, but as for a lounge, we will let MFC keep the lounge.
16. We are no longer asking for ID.
17. When you run a business, you need to focus on one aspect that you know can make you the best in the industry. Models and members will use this website because this company will be the best operated company and provide the best support. We do that and everything else follows.

I think you'll need a little more security than that. If someone leaks the password then anyone would have access to the video. Ideally, the model would be able to generate a unique password whenever someone buys a video that can only be used once or whatever the model sets the download limit to.

It'd be easy to promote a video on the profile, take payment in tokens and send a once/twice/thrice only link to Project Maenad or the like.

We discovered an issue with our mailing server. Luckily, this was discovered prior to the launch and it has been resolved. I apologize for any inconvenience. If anyone has sent an email to admin@hushhushcams.com and never received a response, please resend the email and we will promptly respond.

The final phase of website is complete and we are now moving to work with Payoneer and Epoch. Very exciting stuff!

Thank you everyone for the posts!

I am very excited about your site. You have a very clear idea of where you want to go. The member levels is genius, and you seem to be a serious person. I have a few questions though..

1) Are you handling the payments yourself or will you be outsourcing it from another company? I wonder because the single most important thing to me is that the site I work for pays in full and on time every single time. MFC has many things I dislike, but they pay like a swiss clock. If you manage to pay as efficiently as MFC and you will do 0.6 plus support, plus all the perks you announced, I believe many top models who are tired of MFC's lack of support and eroding culture will be willing to switch and bring their regulars with them (me included).

2) You need to come up with a system to sort models on main page. On MFC it is the camscore (tokens per hour) which allows us tease models to thrive. Chaturbate filters by in-room traffic (sucks for models like me) and I believe Streamate has some sort of score depending on the quality of the feed (right girls?) Placement on homepage will be the single most important factor that will shape the culture of your site. Models will do whatever it takes to get better placement so if it goes by tokens/hour, they will push really hard to make more tokens in the minimum possible time (including self tipping which distorts everything). If it goes by traffic they will insert a baseball bat up their anus while singing an opera in a public parking lot to get more viewers. If you go by quality, girls will get speedy internet connections and great cams. You said you haven't thought that out. Will it be entirely random? Think carefully about what you want the site to be and filter accordingly.

3) Will you accept pre-op transexuals as models? inb4 3 billion "wtf" and "poop" emotes but I don't feel comfortable working on a site with male models including transexuals that haven't gotten their reassignment surgery. Same reason why I would never work on a site that displays hardcore banners of a giant penis ramming a butthole next to my feed: it is tacky, crass, and being a tease model, it will put off half of my regulars. MFC is female-only and I will not risk moving to HushHush and bringing my regulars with me if I will be displayed next to male models in drag sticking a dildo up their ass with their penis flapping and testicles jiggling on close-up. I don't care if they have beautiful tits, if they have a penis it is a deal breaker for me.

I am really excited about your site, I think it is much needed. Every token based site available has deep flaws so the necessity is there. You wont even need traffic if you manage to lure the best models, we will get you traffic. You are still very green because it sounds to me like you have never worked on the adult industry before, but if you are a swift learner it wont be a problem. Thank you for being open and answering our questions I truly wish you the best and I am looking forward to seeing your launch.

Supermila,
Thank you for the post. I hope I have answered all your questions thoroughly.

1) The payments are made through my company and Payoneer. This depends on the Model's location and choice of how to be paid. This company is very focused on support and in that we are taking the payment process very seriously. Again, the Model's pay is embedded into the token price, so there is no reason why the $$$ to pay Models is not there when it is time to pay.

2) As for the model arrangement on the homepage: tabs exist for Members to view Models ("Models Online", "New Models", "Most Viewed", "Transgender", "My Models", "Recently Viewed Models"). The way this site will handle the arrangement is through these tabs. Tabs may be added in the future to make the process more efficient. For example, I just realized a new tab can be "Highest Earner." These tabs replace the camscore and applies less pressure on the Models while giving Members an efficient experience.

3) The transgender models are a new addition and very recently addition in the scheme of this process. This is something we will keep our eye on and continue to work with. I chose to add transgenders to give the website a different identity from MFC. I very much like the idea of being a website that only allows female and trans models. The way the site is setup, there should be no accidental viewing of a transgender page unless the Member wants that. There is no mixing of females and transgenders. A Member cannot hover over the Model image and get a peek into the page. I HATE that feature. I want Members interested in a Model to have to enter the page, then it is up to the Model to get them to stay. This way they cannot hover and make a decision and move onto the next Model to hover over.

Additionally, this website has zero Ads or banners in it. Members will not be exposed to any Ads or banners anywhere on the site.

Thank you for your post, Supermila!

My question, then, is: what is the default tab for model arrangement, and what will determine the order of the models in that default tab? In other words, when a member first logs in, what/who will they see first and how will that be determined?

My question about payments has more to do with logistics than with the actual money being paid. It is one thing to have the money to pay the models (which I have no reason to distrust you on that yet) and another to handle the actual process of making payments. If you have 5 models it isn't an issue, you do it manually, but once you have hundreds of models, each with a different payment method, things become quite tricky. Companies that don't pay in time often fail to do it for logistics more than lacking funds for it. The same goes for charge-backs, you say you will cover them but you need a system in place for dealing with it to avoid getting so many charge backs that they will drag your company to the ground. Asking for IDs is a good idea, perhaps limiting their capacity to buy tokens like many sites do is also smart because it lets them try the site before asking for personal info, but it does increase the risk.

And about the sorting on main page my question is the same as @WillowJames, the fact that there are tabs doesn't explain how rooms will be filtered and arranged within them? Alphabetically? Last to login first? Longest time online first? Entirely random?

Regarding the recent recurring question about page placement, I've worked on sites which use various methods and the only one which has limited traffic to my room is camscore! Teasing is a huge part of my broadcasts and I regularly have 500 - 1000 people watching me when nothing is on show.

HHC has already confirmed there will be no camscore. I think random sorting with regular refreshing works well.

To answer your question and @WillowJames: the order in which models appear on the "models online" tab is alphabetical. From there, if you are a model who attracts a high number of viewers, you will be at the top of the "Most Viewed." We will add additional tabs to create a better experience. Many do not like camscore and many do not like ratings. We removed both, so we chose alphabetical since it makes finding a model easier. But, not having a rating system or scores means that models must believe in themselves for success. It is up to the model to earn the money, gain followers, and keep those followers. A successful model will not have an issue with the homepage arrangement.

As for the payment logistics, Epoch and Payoneer do business together. This greatly helps a smooth payment process. It seems tricky, but really is not. There are only two avenues for payment to be received: by HushHushcams and Payoneer. I will have an Admin responsible solely for payments and I will supervise this, as well. Charge backs are dealt through Epoch. They incorporate the system and protect from repeat offenders. We will also have a system to record incidents to make sure offenders cannot effect the system, again. Charge backs will occur, it is preventing repeated offenses that are important. From the models side, our models will not have any issues. Everything this company does can result in losing money for the company, if taken lightly. We are not running blind, I promise :)

I shall be changing my name to Aaron Aardvark

Yeah, you are definitely going to wind up with a ton of Aaaamber and AAdorableGirl type usernames. If having a later letter is a disadvantage then you'll just get heavily loaded on A names. Idk if alphabetical is the best way but it's hard to find a sorting scheme that is!

Thank you for the heads up, I will register as Aaaaaaaabby ;)

Thank you for the heads up, I will register as Aaaaaaaabby ;)

You'll need to lose that "y" at the end or Aaaaaaaabbie will be ahead of you ;)

Unless the tabs model icons are loaded by random deal with each view, then massive gaming of the order will be done to the point of absurdity. (And LOL's lots of LOL's, can't forget the LOL's)

I agree with Rebecca. A totally random sorting system in which rooms are rearranged every time the page refreshes... every minute or so would be good for people to discover new models constantly and it would force them to add the girls they like to their favourites or risk losing them. Even if you stick to the alphabetical sorting system you could add a tab for this. I would call it "shuffle".

I'm stupidly excited for this site. Shuffle should be a default for the page.
