Profitability of camming without audio/mic as a conventionally unattractive model?

I've never been attractive by conventional standards, I am okay with that and I know that is not a deterrant to making money on cam. However, since I've been streaming I am always worried about my family walking in. I'm 25 so I don't think I could play it off as a cutesy/hot "barely legal still living with parents" thing. I want to completely nix audio on cam and only offer audio on niteflirt and clip sites-- is this viable?

I will just give you one user’s opinion.

As you say, I don’t think being “conventionally unattractive” matters at all. Whatever look a model has, there will be some who seek it out and others who will be great with it if the model is engaging and puts on a good show. One of my favorite models right now is not “conventionally attractive” (although I like how she looks) but she is really fun and gives a super hot show.

The audio thing is a bigger deal to me. A big part of the experience is the connection with the person and hearing their voice is a big part of it. That said, there are plenty of times I watch a show with the sound off for various reasons. But that is not all the time. I am not sure how I would feel about that

I don't know what you look like obviously but I don't think 25 is too old to play off the cutesy "still living with parents" vibe at all. I agree with Hiunds that audio is quite a big deal, so could you whisper? I think loads of guys love the idea of it being sneaky and naughty and "might get caught" which could work in your favour. I don't know what site you're on, but have you seen Streamate during contest week? LOADS of high ranking models do these "boyfriend/friend/plumber is in the same room so I have to be quiet" shows and members lap it up trying to elicit moans or flashes etc from them
