I was wondering- does anyone here know what the schedules are for the porn stars? We already know that for at least a couple more weeks, we'll probably not be able to make much while they're on, so it would be good to know when they will be on. Then we can each make our choice whether or not to be online when they are, and if we are online when they are, not get discouraged when the rate at which tokens are coming in drops dramatically.

Even if they don't have specific schedules, I'm sure there's times of day when they're more likely to be online.
 
I've noticed that many of the porn stars aren't doing as well as you or I would think. I forget who it was, but when she started; she was getting 30-40 people in group shows. Now, she's lucky if she gets between 5-10.

The reality is that MOST porn stars are pretty boring people. And some of them are actually quite dumb. I think that people are seeing that with the MFC porn stars and going back to their normal models or the lounge.

So unless someone can give me evidence proving that I'm wrong, I honestly wouldn't worry too much.
 
Definitely agree on the trend. The star's following seems to be a peak at first and then when the members see the sexy stuff and the fun doesn't accompany it, they return to their regular models for the fun with sexy stuff as a bonus. There will always be competition on MFC but I don't think you have to worry much. The porn stars are here for just the money, not like most of the MFC ladies. Once the members that spend the most see that, they are dismissed. Their success on MFC is always short lived. I've been trying to follow a few of them to see their impact on the other models. I'm not impressed by them. They are just zombies.

Overall, everyone is being more stingy with tokens.

ETA: I've also noticed a lot of new models in the last 2-3 weeks or so. More than what I've seen since 11/09.
 
Thank you. I did figure that it would be a short-lived fad, I just figured it might be another couple weeks before things go back to normal.

I just don't know anything about the porn industry so have no idea how many of the stars are on mfc, who they are, or when they're there. x.x

I'm trying to figure out who they are. I'll have to do some recon over the next few days and get a list going.

She's one of the few porn stars I think will actually last on MFC. She's pretty fucking awesome. >_>
 
Just saw that porn star Sara Jay is now on MFC. Apparently, she started today. Watched her for a little bit from the lounge. She might have a chance to do well compared to the other porn stars.

Though as I typed the above, I heard her say that she always cums during her scenes. *coughs* bullshit! *coughs*

IIRC she was the first porn star that came onto MFC (aside from Ember, who I didn't realize was even a porn star, still haven't heard of her outside of the web). And I was there the first day with all the "ZOMG r u rly u?" questions. I even asked her what happened to her paw prints and she answered me.

Julia has been around for probably close to 5 months. Maybe more. The others seem to have all come within the last 2.
 
I think it is extremely unfair the way MFC have handled this situation. In my eyes MFC is more an amateur model site and after all they aren't called porn stars for no reason, they have films and rubbish. Before the arrival of the current 4/5 porn stars I did notice some favoritism for certain models (possibly the two that attended the MFC convention thing Jalyn and Danimarrie) basically everything other models have been warned, fined or banned for and as a result feel down that they cannot offer a proper show in their room, yet other models blatantly abuse this.

I think we have all seen the porn stars with 30k ratings in like 2/3 weeks yet fail to place on the monthly contest, this already smells but then factor in the obvious favoritism (Monique doing all the stuff in public a few nights ago yet MFC jump on regular models that very day), then I see Sunnyleonne and Monique with MFC clothing both on cam together.
 
I love porn stars as much as everyone but there are too many double standards being set. I'm glad that you guys are talking about this & it's not fair that if you guys are being treated terribly as I hope you guys can create your own site because it'll be phenomenal to see.
 
Ember was a camgirl LONG before she got a solo site....she's been camming for quite awhile. I don't think her other camsite she's on brings her solo site any traffic, so thats why she picked mfc. I used to cam with her on another network...pretty nice girl. I just hope these girls aren't breaking rules or whatever. :/
