I just watched it again and I'm not sure what you mean Rose. He booked a certain type of girl, probably on her agent's recommendation, for a certain type of scene and she shows up on set, whole crew ready to go and she's clearly inappropriate for the scene - he has a legitimate reason to be pissed off because that's highly unprofessional and time = money. That's what I found upsetting. It had nothing to do with whether I liked her ink or not but the fact that as an employer in a touchy situation he should have handled it better. As a model I've been hired for the wrong job before but instead of the photographer behaving the way that jerk did, he simply explain the mix up, apologized and sent me on my way before either of us wasted the other's time. What should/could have happened was he should have asked to see her naked and then just said, "hey, there was a mix up I was looking for someone else without tattoos." There was just no need for him to outright say, "she's ugly"...

Yeah I know, but he didn't say she's ugly to her, he said it to a colleague on the phone (he also lowered his voice as he said it) wondering wtf they were going to do because unlike a photographer who can just pack up his gear and go home for the day...they're shooting a movie, several cameramen, lighting, sound guys, probably hiring a set, male talent, other female talent - all needing to be paid. The movie is shooting - there and then. A *completely* inappropriate performer showing up isn't a small problem, it's a really big one which is why he was on the phone trying to figure out a way to make it work.

Also the way he said it I took it as he meant the ink on her made her ugly from an aesthetic point of view - he's doing his job, he could be nice and tell everyone they're gorgeous in every way but he's selling men's fantasies and like it or not, some women aren't going to appeal to a broad market, esp from the sounds of the film he was shooting that day.
