Hello I am very interested in becoming a model on MFC but I share a laptop with my roommates and they would not approve of my new job camming. My question is can you log online without dowloading the softwear? Basically I need it to not show up on the computer that I'm on. I hope I worded this well enough for an answer because I can't seem to find any info about it. Thanks!

You can stream via direct from the website. The software they provide is just to have on your desktop and run separately from the webpage.

Thank you so much for the reply LittleLei!
And mynameisbob84, yeah I think I'll just get my own laptop before I start camming. Plus then I can get a good webcam to broadcast from! Thanks again guys!

It's pretty weird seeing this post that's how I made my come back with my old roomies lappytop. Lol. I couldn't talk bc they were in the room next to me. So I did silent shows for a while. Guys were so happy when I moved out and got my own laptop.

LittleLei-
Just curious is it better to have (download) the software or stream from the website itself? Or is there no difference?

Just know that when you do anything on the internet it stays on the internet. You will always run the risk of being found. I have always used the downloaded software but I know you can use the browser...when you use the browser though keep in mind that you may deal with a great deal of lag if you don't have an good ISP or if running to many things at once

MFC is no longer my main website, so their software may have been updated since then. I would hope so since it has been at least two years, but when I was avidly broadcasting on MFC I streamed on their webpage. I ran into crash problems with the program, but like I said that was two years ago. I also found much better luck broadcasting on Firefox over Chrome.

Maybe a current MFC gal can shed some info on which is better for them.

Yeah I'm aware of that, not worried about being found out, just wouldn't want roomates to be pissed about using their laptop for it. Just trying to avoid that problem if that makes sense lol

Not being a bitch here but if they found out you were a cam girl wouldn't they know it was from their computer? That's why I assumed you didn't want to be found. You may want to find out how to delete the history too so they can't find out that way

No I don't think they would care if I were a cam girl (not yet one) but I'm not sure they would want to let me use their laptop for it, I think they'd be worried about the laptop getting a virus or taking up so much memory... something like that is what I'm thinking they won't want. Maybe I should just
ask them if they would care? But glad to also know I have options on how to stream. Thanks :)

If you do than explain to them that if a company is going to pay you than their programs won't be giving them viruses and that MFC is a legit website not just a porn site. Girls don't even have to offer getting naked.

Ok, good points to make when I chat about it with them. Thank you!

If you don't want them to know, don't use their laptop. There are lots of ways that they could stumble across the fact that you were using the laptop. There are cookies, browser history, auto-filled fields, and lots of things I can't think of. If you can save up $100-200, you could get a laptop from craigslist that will likely work fine for MFC.

Also, being on MFC takes a lot of hours out of the day. Are they going to be okay with you using it all that time?

Thanks NickT I agree 100%, and that's exactly what I plan on doing!
