Hello! I need help @punkerbarbie
I noticed for the past at least 7-8 days there are erros in the chaturbate ranking. On the first page there are thumbnails of rooms with 50-100 users, maximum 5-10 registred members, barely 100 tk in 1 h and no interaction, while other rooms like my own with more viewers, more tk and more interaction are stuck on page 4-5.
I checked from different browsers, different devices and while logged off on each.
I have print screens of the issue from different days and also talked to other cb models, at least 5 experience and see the same error.
Can i please get some help? Did the ranking change? Because this doesn't feel ok , and I need to know why the injustice is happening and why is it lasting for so long? Do we not get the same opportunitties on the site anymore?
Thank you!
Kimberhot
P.s : I attach print screen from yesterday but if needed i have proof of the same error from multiple days

Hello! I need help @punkerbarbie

I don't think it's an error, I think it's a new feature (for lack of a better term). Even when I am logged off the front page will show models similar to other models I've visited in the past or hashtags I've used when searching for models. I'm pretty sure this is a recent change. When I last checked (yesterday) 6/15 top spots on the page had fewer than 30 viewers in the room and all of those were models I have visited before, but not followed, or were using tags that I search for frequently. And I just noticed that if I click the "Discover" tab the page has "Most popular" and "Show all", where the "Most popular" has the traditional model ranking/listing (or so it seems), and "Show all" has the new customized view.

As a viewer I rather like the new system as previously I never bothered with the front page since I don't particularly care about the most popular models.

As a lesser known model and not exactly "industry norm" in appearance or body type, I also appreciate this and have picked up new viewers that I hope become regulars.

That said, this probably means they should change how the contest works? But that's above my pay grade and I'll likely never achieve it, so I'm not all that invested in the answer. 🙃

I don't think that's the case because the same rooms were on 1st page from all the devices i was checking while offline. So it wasn't a rotation. If something in the ranking system changed I think it's fair everyone should know and get equal opportunities that's why i need an answer. For me I do not think it's fair. I have 450 000 followers, i put in the work too. I have 100% satisfaction score yet i am stuck on 5th page. If the rooms on front page are rotated then they all should be. And if we are not then I want to know we are not treated as equals anymore.

I get were you are coming from but in the same time we all should be treated as equals. Because we all put in the work. So if the rooms are rotated on the first page then we should all be rotated and get a slot there, if not then the opportunitties are not the same for everyone. For me it's not fair because my rank is pushed down because slots in front of me are ocupied by rooms with less viewers, and less followers, less tokens, less action. I have 450 000 followers and i put in the work too, the hours, the stress so i think we should be treated as equals. Everyone should benefit from it then. If we are not, it means that some are favorizied and how is that fair?!

The recommended slots impact anonymous users now, they don't show up in that order in the API so can only assume it doesn't change the contest rankings either.
Only it does because i checked. Also the same rooms were on first page from multiple devices belonging to different persons so it's not a matter of recommended rooms. I was very carrefull in monitorizing this issue the past days, oterwise I wouldn't have started the topic.

...and you believe these people with max 5-10 registered users are not recommended rooms? Alright feel free to send me some of the names and I'll be happy to double check.
