Starting from the bottom, how did you begin camming?

So I have cammed in the past when I had my own place and had nothing to worry about. I stopped camming for a while, then I decided it would be a wonderful idea to move back in with my mom... I've gotten back into the desire to cam again but now I'm not very well off. I barely have my own room, we are wall to wall. Also the wifi is horribly slow. I don't know where to go from here. I can barely afford my bills and sure as hell can't move out right now.

I am curious if anyone has a story similar to mine. Anyone start at their parents and have to find a way out on their own so that they could cam in peace? How did you start from the bottom and get to a point where you could handle bills again?

I'm even thinking about finding a hotel to stay at for a while but I feel that's dangerous and slightly dramatic. So I'm just curious to hear you story.

I live with my parents and am a single parent as well, so basically I have to cam when nobody is home and when my child is asleep. So far, getting online when my mother and child are not home is working out great. She was home for a month from having a hysterectomy though and I had to take a break, but I got online for a few hours yesterday and slipped back into it with ease. It can be super tricky, but it CAN be done! Consistancy is key in this kind of thing, as much as you can make it, for that kind of thing, to build up a fanbase. Also, might be a fun kind of thing to mention you have roommates/parents that don't know what you do, so you can kind of make it a game out of shhhh, otherwise I'll get caught && play off the "thrill" in that? I have a few people that will tip lots, or high to try to make me squeal when I'm on cam cause I get so happy/excited, lol. They also like it, cause I can't be really loud usually when I cam lol.

I am 20 years old and I am a college student. I am also an independent student, so I don't have parents to help pay for my tuition or books. I also live on my own with room mates in a student apartment. It is really hard to go online because I share a room currently with someone and she gets home at inconvenient hours. I worked for the university in a few labs making minimum wage. I walked there and back everyday (it was 2.5 miles each way up and down hill in the blistering heat and snow). I was working maximum a uni student is allowed, was living off of one pack of noodles a day with only an egg dropped in a few times a month for very special occasions. I was doing full time in courses and had to decide which bills to pay that month based off delinquency. I was exhausted from not eating and expending so much physical and mental energy. I don't know how I kept my grades up without eating.

I just got tired of being hungry. I put in my 2 weeks, took off a month, used $500 of my student loan refunds to invest in a basic laptop, webcam and 2 lights. I finally gathered the courage and hit stream one day and the rest is history. My fridge is always packed now and bills always paid on time. I've gained 15 lbs and am at a healthy weight finally.

You can do it too!! If you can I would start off doing clips and save the money from that to move out again. If you are comfortable doing fetishes that would totally be a great route to take since you don't have to be loud with moaning and groaning, the payout is higher per vid, and they are easier. Plus there's no set prime time you have to shoot them so they provide great flexibility.

Since live streaming sounds a bit more difficult to do, how about selling vids and clips as Madison stated above? A lot of girls make great income with clips. There are endless categories and not all of them are sexually related. Literally everything can be a fetish. Drinking soda & burping, putting on socks, ignoring the camera are just a touch of ideas. It can definitely help make income without being live on cam.

Can you cam on days when mom is not home?I have done hotel stays before and I didn't run into any issues. Getting a hotel is not dramatic or excessive at all. Book the cheapest you can go without setting yourself up in a dangerous area. It can be costly depending on how many days you stay, but if you really are determined to maximize those hours away from home, it can be a great alternative place to cam and make the real money.

Would your wifi slowness be fixed with an external wifi extender? Is your internet slow, or could it be that your room is not getting a good signal? I have installed acoustic panel mats in my cam room for extra sound drowning at Home Depot that come 6 for $30 You can play around with them as wall art.

Maybe you can use the silence/having to be quiet as an advantage while broadcasting. Kind of like a "sneaking to be on cam, so I have to be quiet" and really play into that, "oh no, I'm being a naughty girl, I can be caught right now!"

I am grateful that I have always been in living situations by myself or with roommates that understood my job as a cam girl, so I can't really relate, but I hope I was able to help you out a bit

Mine is a little lame. Basically my boyfriend and I were renting 2 rooms from my mothers ex boyfriend, and this guy is literally bipolar, I don't know.
