Currently Chaturbate's status page says that they have "identified an issue affecting affiliate stats".

I'm the author of Chaturfier, an affiliate website. I use Chaturbate's postbacks for my own stats and to upgrade user's accounts.

I have noticed a decline in revenue AND missing purchases: when I test with a user and buy tokens, the purchase never goes through the postback and is never received by my site and it does not appear on their stats either.

Of course I've asked Chaturbate's affiliate support about this, but they just keep referring to the message on their status page, completely ignoring the fact that it's not only a problem with showing the stats.

Now, I'm not here to accuse CB of willfully withholding commission revenue, but their lack of cooperation doesn't really help either (but of course their support is notoriously lacking).

My question: is anybody else, models or affiliates (I'm looking at you @cbhours ;)), experiencing similar issues?

Additionally their dynamic postback configuration page is broken (500 error) and it's possible this may be the whole cause of the issue, because there seems to be some time correlation...

Registrations are kind of low lately but August 2nd is the only really odd one for me as there's 0 earnings that day for me

Yes, same here. There was some sort of outage that day. I'm guessing a recent update failed miserably and is causing havoc since.
And I think we're missing out on commissions. Do you have ways to test this? Can you confirm this?

Of all the affiliate programs I participate in CB is the one i'm least worried about. I am not seeing a big dip or anything like that.

Hello @chaturfier I have confirmed that the support team has responded to your inquiry. Ticket #25772867
Ah, not really. They repeated themselves for the 3rd time, just copy/pasting what it says on https://status.chaturbate.com/

I mentioned the dynamic postback configuration page is breaking for me with a 500 error. I thought the cause of that error may be related to the missing postbacks. Which in turn may be related to the stats not being updated correctly...

I'm not sure if this is just an error in the reporting side of things, or if there's an actual problem assigning the purchase to an affiliate account. The latter would mean affiliates (like me) would be missing out on revenue share.

I'm not getting a serious thoughtful response whatsoever, though. Basically the support team is completely ignoring what I'm saying!

It seems more and more likely that I (and other affiliates) are missing out on revenue share and it's simply being ignored...

Just received an email from CB that the issue was fixed and you should see the stats for Aug 2nd on the dashboard and postbacks should post today.

It appears the postbacks are indeed working again. The missing events were automatically reposted. Looks like the CSV files available from the stats page are functioning as well.

The dynamic postback configuration page, however, is still broken.
