So there this for profit website called tokensbedamned. Allot of the services their advertising seem like services that are already available in the community for free. Some of their tools also require you giving them your login & password for MFC.

When I read the part about user/pass, that seems kind of a red flag to me. I can't imagine it's ever appropriate for any one to be asking for a model's user name and password. But then I'm not a model. so I really don't know.

I though I would post here to see what other people thought.

Looking on their twitter feed they seem to have a lot of partnerships and a few models on there who seem to have endorsed it but if I was a model it would be a big leap of faith to hand out my passwords to another site.

I don't know what information is stored on a models account but can this website then potentially have access to real names, addresses, bank details, social security numbers etc? It would be like a stalkers treasure trove if they could. Personally it doesnt seem like they offer enough for me to be handing over all those details if I were a model.

It's probably still too new to have heard much about it. The site was registered back in February, but looks like it just went live June 16th. Currently it has around 20 people signed up on it. At least that's all that showing up in the "Camgirl Connect" page. And those are all in the U.S.. None elsewhere in the world.

Anywhere or anyone that asks for your password should not be trusted in my opinion. That's your entire livelihood, and if something happened, you'd be downright screwed. Not only that, they can easily leak all your information. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I'd never do it.

Really? Thats interesting. How does mycamgirl know how many tokens you've earned? I get how they could see all the public tips and add thos up but how do they have access to ninja and offline ones.

Not the tokens except for really high tips, they do get how much time you were online in public, group, and private. But I dont see why an MFC model would find a token tracker useful when MFV gives you that information very easily.

Oh that makes a lot more sense.

This site seems to be different. Say you have accounts on MFC, CB, streamate, Manyvids and any of the other sites they have on there this site collates all your earnings to show you an overall total combined from all the sites you're on and I presume the only way they could possibly get that info is by having your passwords for each site. At least that's what I got from the quick 2 minute google search earlier.

Still doesn't seem to be a useful enough feature to risk giving away so much personal info just to save you 5 minutes of adding up yourself. The potential dangers seem to far outweigh the benefits.

CamYourWay is a great site for token-tracking across most major cam sites. The site doesn't ask for a username and password—it uses a chrome extension to obtain the info when you're logged into CYW and your camsite(s). I'm bummed that the creators have pretty much gone silent and there haven't been new updates in a while, but I still find it useful enough to pay for on a monthly basis.

@Miss_Lollipop can probably shed more light on the site/creators than I can but I figured I'd add my two cents.


Edited to add that I would be incredibly hesitant to use any service that required my login credentials. I mention CYW because of their alternate way of accessing earnings information.

ambersonata did not respond to the corns about password sharing or registering through her website. Instead she un-pin the thread promoting her site; create a new thread promoting her site. Pin it, locked the thread. (the thread is the forum rules, along with promoting her site)

She did respond to concerns over it being a conflict of interest to promote her site as a moderator. But her response was she did not see it as a conflict of intrest. (even though her response to people questioning her site was to basically barry the questions)

Really not my fight. I'm not a model. I just tip them. XD

That name checker on the site is cool. checked the source code and can't figure out how they're doing it. Either way, it's badass. I'm kind of jealous, actually.

Was going to shoot her/them an email asking for more information, but without a working contact form / page, obviously that isn't going to happen.

I see what you mean. That is interesting she's now the moderator for the MFC reddit. I noticed she conveniently made one of the ways for a model to get verified on that reddit is to sign up on her website tokensbedammed. I also find it rather annoying that if you, as a model, now want to register as a model on that reddit to post any content about yourself, you will now automatically be made a registered member of her site as well. That seems shady as fuck. Personally I would bitch to reddit to get that/her removed immediately if it were me.


I'm also not seeing your post in there anywhere. So I think it got deleted all together. Evidently no honest talk is allowed about her website in her new realm of power.

Posted a question there about it on that reddit. Amber or Dawn deleted it within a couple minutes. So evidently no pointing out anything questionable about her site is now allowed on that subreddit. Great way to reassure people about the honesty of your personal website.

That number could be a bit misleading though. Keep in mind people don't have to subscribe to a reddit to easily see posts for it. With multireddits it's actually easier to NOT subscribe to most of them.

I only subscribe to the ones I want to read on a daily basis on my front page. And when i'm in the mood I go to other multireddits I've made. Once in those it shows me all of them in that category I've added to that Multireddit. This way it keeps my main front page less cluttered and just for the important stuff.

For example, my porn 'multireddit' has 56 subreddits I can see all at once by clicking on it (myfreecams reddit is among them). But I'm not actually subscribed to any of them. So their numbers will not reflect that I may visit there often. All together these represent hundreds I'm not actually subscribed to.

Why do both mods list their CB accounts there when it's an MFC subreddit? I always frown a little when someone in charge of a community isn't exactly the most knowledgable about the subject matter, and if their main site is CB, it makes me wonder about their credibility.

I would say that's a very good question to ask them over there in that reddit. But they would just delete it.

Yeah I'm sorry i have no light to shed on this. I love it when services come from the cam model community rather than outside it. But sharing passwords is unneeded and transparency about decisions and security is important. I also still pay for cam your way and find it useful. The profile builder on tokens be damned seems to be a work in progress... i couldn't make it work... and you should not need to share passwords to generate code for profiles. CamgirlToolkit does not have a version for chaturbate yet but we are working on this and i promise is coming soon.

But beyond those comments I'm afraid i can't shed any more light on the site or is creator.
