Coming early Sept. Already pre-ordered mine on steam, would love some people to do multiplayer with! Pre-order gets a Blood Ravens chapter pack included

Not sure if I want it on PS3 or on PC right now. Sounds like it was made for console and ported to PC.
Plus I think I need the special edition from THQ but not sure about that either.

Nah they announced they'd be including PC pretty early in the development - and Relic is a veteran PC developer, they did Dawn of War, 3 expansions, Dawn of War II, 3 expansions all on PC and none for consoles.

Plus it'll look way better on PC.

Well the other massive bonus of having it on the PC is the mods.

Warhammer fans are freaks, they'll mod everything from a realistic rate of stormbolter fire to pre-heresy Emperor's Children to implementing damage tables directly out of the table-top game codexes - and those are just a fraction of the things they've modded previous games into.

With a committed modding community, great games become perfect games.

Argh, I wonder if I can cancel my pre-order on steam!!

I was in EB games today and for the same price their pre-order pack has dlc relic chainsword and bolter, which is no biggie, but it also comes with an art book, metal tin case and well, I just prefer a physical copy of the discs and manual.

This is the THQ Collector's Edition

Information Cards – This stunning pack of 25 foil treated collector’s cards will give you key information on some of the main characters you’ll come across in the game, complete with gameplay hints.

Art Book – Packed with art from the game, this hard back art book will give you a behind-the-scenes look at how the world of Warhammer 40,000 was brought to life, complete with developer introduction.

Soundtrack – Musical score by renowned composers Cris Velasco and Sacha Dikiciyan, this original soundtrack will transport you back to the epic universe of Space Marine.

Purity Seal – Awarded to those who show themselves to be honorable in battle, this authentic poly-resin purity seal with double cloth ribbon and magnetic attachment is a replica of those worn in-game by Titus.

Yeah I just did a search on what the various pre-order bonuses are...

List of bonuses by each US retailer http://www.spacemarine.com/buy

THQ has a DLC power sword

The DLC golden bolter and chainsword:

Then there's versions with unique skins, one version has Space Wolves & Black Templars, and the chaos version has Emperor's Children & Iron Warriors, and then Steam exclusively has Blood Ravens.

Personally, my pick would be the Wolves/Templars pack

Skins for all those chapters are in the game already, but below are screenshots showing the differences (basically stuff unique to chapter/legion lore)

Btw, wierdly if you click the THQ preorder link on that page I listed it's priced at $49.99, everywhere else is $89. Kinda contemplating whether I should be paying $40 for two skins, instead of a power sword lol.

The Collectors edition is 79.99 the regular edition is 49.99 both are on THQs site. Only THQ offers the CE though.

Ahh that sucks, you can definitely get the collectors editions in stores here in Aus with the purity seal, art book, etc etc plus the various pre-order bonuses

Downside is it's more expensive :( like $130 for the collector's

when DoW II came out they had a competition in my local EB to win a life-size 7 foot tall space marine statue lol...would have been freakin awesome to win

I would pay money for that shit. Too bad they are apparently exclusive pre-order bonuses.

I can virtually guarantee the pre-order bonuses will be up on torrent sites within weeks if not earlier heh...so really you'll probly be able to get them all
