Basically I went to a reptile expo with my bleeding heart and came home with two baby rats.

they are frakkin adorable!

i took my medical terminology final this morning and my brain just keeps spitting out vocabulary that doesn't fit with my day.
for example, i'm trying to make a sammich and i keep spelling out the term for "excision of a pancreatic stone" in my head.
and i have to call the doctors this afternoon and find out if they read my MRI yet or got my bloodwork back cause i'm an impatient bitch and my brain sucks.

this thread will become very ironic if i get back actual results from the mri... "whats on your mind right NOW" will be "a benign tumor on my pituitary gland!" and i will chuckle. sorry if that's a bonerkill.

on a positive note, i'm done with school for the semester and i gots a sammich.

I have been making an effort to be nicer to new people visiting the forum, with the occasional slip, and I noticed I seem to post a lot less now that I avoid the dog piles for the most part. Some days are easier than others though.

I'm thinking brownies for the average person would be better. Muffins can get a bit dry. Cookies are common place we can get them more often. Brownies are more of a treat you have to go out of your way for. And they're still just as good the next day.

Well, JerryBoBerry does sound kinda like something a girl would come up with, and your pic is of a woman, so their confusion is understandable.

My nipples are fine, he's not a biter and the teeth haven't cut yet. It's the CONSTANT fussing, crying, biting of his fingers and low grade fever that are bothering me. I'm a fixer. I don't like it when people are upset so it's frustrating to me that I can't just "fix" him. He's not a fan of pacifiers or teethers at all so those don't help. *sigh* Orajel, baby tylenol, my knuckles, frozen banana mush and his fingers so far at the only things that are keeping him chill.

As of 5 minutes ago though we discovered that letting him pinch Sadie's jowls keeps him entertained for as long as she'll take the abuse. After a few minutes she got up and hid though. I think she got tired of babysitting.

This reminded me of my niece and nephew when there were babies. We had a couple dogs in the house. The one was a female poodle that was just the sweetest thing you have ever seen. Loved to cuddle and so friendly. The other was a half german shepherd half wolf mix.

Turned out they were exactly the opposite of what we expected when they were around the kids. The poodle got PISSED at them. Nipped at them once. So we had to put her in the bedroom and away from the kids thereafter. The big old tough german shepherd a linebacker would run away from in fear just sat there looking bored when they'd grab his fur to pull themselves up and then climb all over him. I can still picture him giving us the 'help me' look as they're grabbing his ears and pulling. Never even growled once at them.
