I stated my views on the most annoying thing I think a model can do. If opinions bother you, tough luck.
While I cammed I kept a positive attitude and was making $400 per 3-5 hour session. So of course I personally believe it's a good and easy tactic for profits (esp for newbies), but if you find those who get turned on and feed off of negativity or you can work it for $$$, GOOD ON YOU. I'm not stopping you or saying not to and I never will. Sorry if you thought I posted with the intent to make others adhere to my tactics, because I didn't lol. I stated my opinion and you can get upset and try to argue all you want, but I won't be feeding into that kind of negativity or childishness anymore. Have a nice day.

Yo... We all pretty regularly give the advice to models who aren't into the bratty thing, to avoid being too negative on cam or Twitter.

If Rosie had worded it slightly different most of us would be agreeing with her. Her wording sucked but if you stick to the thread topic it puts it into a better perspective. No reason to be calling her names.

Yes we do. We also joke around which is what I was doing. Until I was told to lighten up and grow up over a dang joke. But I didnt call her names either way.

Take a damn joke child.

I dont want to be in a big argument because what's the point? But this was very hurtful and name calling.
To me at least, your attempt at joking read more as passive aggressive insulting rather than funny. This is something I'm SUPER guilty of doing, so just from my shitty sarcastic and often insulting self... It read much meaner than maybe you intended.

Whether or not it comes from a place of rudeness or self-loathing or pity tip weaseling, it's just... ignorant.

Self-image issues have nothing to do with facts but with perception - you can try to use as many facts as possible to try to prove otherwise, but people will rarely change with facts alone - specially when those facts are based on showing success of *others* that share that specific characteristic instead of successful events involving that individual.

Agreed, but the beautiful thing about being an adult is that we don't have to say everything that pops into our brains without filter just in the hopes of feeling a little better. I think grown women on accounts they use to to build relationships within their industry can/should find other ways to deal with their body issues.

I often watch models from the lounge and if I see something I enjoy I will send a 50 - 100 token tip with a tip note saying "you're cute " or " you're funny " or whatever and will usually get a PM saying " thank you " but sometimes asking if I would like to go pvt which I usually decline, but some models will act as if I somehow insulted them with such a small tip, I can't understand that, if I was working and a random stranger walked up and handed me $5 and said " good job " I don't think I would berate them because it wasn't $20

I sometimes go watch other ACF models, and if it feels appropriate I'll usually tell them in a private tip note that I'm also a model. Most of the time it's just 5-10tks, because I don't want to PM them. One girl laughed at the amount & started teasing me about it. Maybe she thought she was being playful but it was weird and off-putting, so I left.

So much for "all tips are appreciated", lol. At least it made me glad I didn't tip her very much.

Came across a super, super cute model today when I was perving. 1000% my "type" or however you'd say.
I tried to tip a bit and ask a few questions about herself in tip notes but she kept ignoring the room. Basics were allowed to chat, which is whatever, but they were aggressively beggy with 0 moderation. And she responded to a member telling her that he commented on her profile the same way as my tips :S. same for the "im hard bb" comments in the chat. Not that Im a high roller or anything. I dont expect an over-the-top freakout but maybe just a bit different reaction than if I hadn't tipped at all?

Maybe she was new or having a bad day. Its not my place to tell another girl how to run her room but damn, but as a member I left feeling pretty blehhhh. Its too bad though because she was really gorgeous!

Your last bit, I think, is so crucial for models to remember. Of course we all have bad days, but it will also almost always be someone's first impression of you, and for me the girls who are unfriendly/unappreciative/etc, I will likely not bother visiting or tipping again when there's thousands of girls online. Again, I'm definitely no high roller either, but I imagine there are members who are that feel similarly. Worth it imo to consider logging off if you're getting grumpy, or working on your game face a little (general you, obviously!, & who knows if this girl was having an off day or just has a bad attitude).

Ive definitely been someone who gets freaked out on cam easily, but no matter my mood I just can't imagine ignoring a tip. When someone shows me appreciation by tipping, I want them to know I appreciate it back, regardless if its 1, 100, or 1000.

This model wasn't even cranky though, just disconnected.

I feel petty for saying it, but if telling the model I like her or a stupid Myspace glitter graphic gets the same reaction as tipping, it feels like a bit of a slap. And it incentivises those paying-in-shallow-compliments guys to keep it up.

I wouldn't call your last statement petty, but rather you were bluntly illustrating a point. Nice gestures that go thankless feels like a wasted/empty effort, and the results feel unsatisfying, not to mention that it's rude. It also deters from performing any more nice gestures for the model. In your case, you're less likely to tip. When it comes receiving gestures of any kind (big or small), it goes a long way to send a simple thank you in return, even when the receiver thinks it's not a big deal to send a thank you.

Conversely, if a model chooses to ignore specific "nice gestures" in order to deter more of such behavior - such as crude compliments (mmmm you have the most fuckable pussy i've ever seen bb) - i think that's perfectly okay too. There's a different context to that but i won't get into it.

Just to be clear, I wasn't the one making the crude comments or posting corny graphics :p I hate that getting that shit, I wouldnt dish it out! I wholeheartedly think those guys should be ignored. I guess I should have said "a member" instead of "I" in my previous post.

Others users were doing this, and she reacted to them as if they had tipped her. when I'm on cam, I personally ignore those guys and find them irritating.

If she likes getting those comments, I won't judge, but if she gives those over-the-top comments the same excitement and gratitude as my tokens, I feel weird about tipping again.

Models selling their snapchat ID but not allowing people to take screenshots.

The original/alleged purpose of snapchat is to have screenshots go away after a viewing. The pictures are not meant to be kept. And if a model doesn't want her snaps saved by her followers, you should respect her in that regard. After all, these are pictures of herself that could be saved by random strangers, even if these strangers happen to be her patrons.

I don't even use snapchat personally I just see it frequently in rooms when guys ask about snapchat pricing etc. Some models say "why wouldn't I let you screenshot, you're paying for it?" And others say they'll block and/or remove you if you do.

Different discretion from different models. If some model allows screenshots, doesn't mean it applies to every model.

I was in a model's room with my premium account. She didn't have too many people in the room and mentioned no one was talking. I tipped, talked about video games for a sec with her and did a tip command to play a silly song. She played it, then started immediately saying things like "What the hell is this? Wow. This is music is not at all sexy. I'm going to change it.. Why would you ask me to play that? It's just weird. It's not even sexy."

I was the only person tipping and talking when this happened. I mean, if she was in the middle of sensual show I'd totally understand the response. I would never want to kill anyone's vibe. But this just floored me, she was actually pissed off about it! It's not annoyance exactly but I definitely got bummed out about it. :(

Awhile ago, i came to the realization how people are extreme narcissists when it comes to musical preference. Everyone believes their own choice of music is the best, while everyone else's is shitty... sometimes speaking as if their opinions should be regarded as an absolute truth. It's such an ear-of-the-beholder thing

Along these lines, i made a similar statement about music pref in Annoying Things Members Do

I don't know about the most annoying thing, but it is pretty irritating to me when a model has something written on the front of her shirt and she has the picture reversed.

Somewhat relevant to this discussion: I had someone harassing me on Instagram a while back asking how well I do on Streammate "because I don't see many normal women on camsites who aren't like supermodels".

You obviously have not seriously looked around at different models on ANY site if you think that's the case. It's not hard to click the "BBW" section, or search that, and pop into a couple model's rooms to get an idea of how busy they are.

Honestly, one of the reasons I like cam sites is that most of the girls on them ARE 'normal women' in the looks department; as in women you'd potentially be able to see walking about. This isn't too say that there aren't gorgeous 'where do they grow women like that?' types, or the more overly made up 'porn hot' women as I refer to them... But most of them look like women any of us could meet in our lives.

When I'm browsing the home page, the girls that tend to grab my interest are the cute, 'normal' looking models. I like a girl next door look, generally. Attractive, but not over doing the name up. A really cute face goes a long way with me, regardless of body type.

I've never noticed this when in your room...but I'm usually tired and just waking up when I'm in there.

Can I ask why? Is there a reason models do this. It's always befuddled me. I honestly don't know why I'm just now asking that after seeing models do that for so many years. XD

I've usually assumed they were using a built in Mac cam or something and don't know how to correct it/know it's better to use an external cam.

Exactly what happened last night. I went into a room- 4 or 5 people sitting quietly. I said hi, she responded with a hi. I tipped 100tk, no reaction dead silence. Someone else came in about 30 seconds later and said hi, she responded to them with a hi. I took off. If there had been any reaction I would have hung around. She's fairly new, I don't have high hopes for her success unless something changes.

Something I find annoying, but I know I do it a lot, is when girls say fuck or fucking. I don't know why but I've always thought it sounds cringey to hear a high pitched girl say fuck and it just sounds unnecessary, but it's more like "I am going to the fucking store today." Just all casually. I don't know why, it just bothers me. Lol, but I have the tendency to do it too xD

Bahaha I resemble this remark;) the f bomb is so much a part of my normal vocabulary I often don't even notice im saying it. But I don't have a high pitched voice by any means. Eh. Fuck it.

Automatic settings for my camera/computer are to have the image flipped. I don't know why! So sometimes I'll log on and forget for a while because it shows up fine on MY end. I've been better about remembering to change the setting... but sometimes I'm forgetful.

I've also done it by forgetting to remove an effect I used for a show or something.

Have their volume up to 100% on their computer.

Nothing makes a show worse than a peaking mic because you're got your computer volume up so high that every tip makes me go deaf. I don't understand why so many models always have the tip volume even on. Shouldn't you be paying enough attention to not need the sound?

There are soooo many reasons for a model to want her sound up. If it's loud enough that it's disturbing you, let her know! I'm sure she isn't doing it on purpose.
