I'm new so I hope it's ok to post here a customer of mine found out my personal info and spammed my cam room with it because I banned him the guy obviously had some issues. I wouldn't want to bring that on a cam girl also just because all of us live with the possibility of our jobs getting out or the inevitability of it doesn't mean that I want to speed up the process. Just my opinion :)
I seriously don't get wtf is up with some people. It really sucks that you went through that, and hope nothing more has come of it with his actions. :(

First of all, I agree it totally sucks. I have worked professionally with some irl stalkers and they seem to have this whole fantasy about how the object of their obsession will respond to them. And some of them seem to get off on control. When the actual encounter doesn't match the fantasy, they get upset because for them the fantasy is reality and their behavior becomes a problem. The other person isn't going along with the script. IMO when you add the perceived anonymity of being online with that type of person it creates the perfect storm. The irl concerns that are inhibiting factors aren't there.

This is probably the best place to post this since it's not worthy of it's own thread. Does anyone know what happened to DreamOfAnalia on MFC? Does she still cam? She was one of my favorite models and it's been a really long time since I've seen her. The last few times I saw her, I thought she looked thinner than usual and it had actually crossed my mind that she might be sick or something. Then she just disappeared.

So, has there ever been a "Who is this camgirl?" thread that was not one of these:

1. Freeloader finds camgirl on some shit tubesite with stolen clips/pictures
2. Someone has stalkery/creepy reasons to find a girl

???
1. Everyone starts out as a freeloader.
2. We are all stalkers/creeps to some degree and denying it doesn't make that part of our personality go away. Denying to answer the question also won't make a stalker stop.

Obviously, cam show captures are the only legitimate questions and cam room names are the only legitimate answers. No Facebook, no Instagram, no real names, no real life locations.

Irrational overprotection from one side doesn't protect anyone from any other side. If you know the model, you can ask her (him) and answer only if she (he) agrees. My ex wife (who I knew through a cam site, btw.), says that it's a good free publicity for her to have her videos all around. People (and some paying customers) find her room through her recorded shows.

The crazies have to be dealt with in real life. This doesn't seem to be part of the talk here and I see it as a real problem. There is police. There are restraining orders. There are many things the police can do and if they don't help, then you can do. This deserves an honest conversation about the subject, but not giving away names will only slow the process for both wannabe paying customers and crazies (guess which one of those two won't stop).

The paranoid and lengthy post of @Teagan from the beginning of this thread seems to have shaped the tone here, by shaming and bullying people into being scared instead of accepting the real life situation. You may have helped in someone's death already by some indirect action, no need to give away their business contact to a potential customer. You shouldn't tell where a bakery is, by this analogy, because the person asking about it may want to burn it down.

Deal with crazies in real life. Speak the truth. Be responsible instead of being paranoid.

Yeah Little ole me controlled everyones minds here and got them to go along with me no matter their own thoughts on the subject. I am just that powerful.

Yes please tell us how stalking works. Please tell us that it isn't in any way dangerous or how no one who is looking for someone has any ill intent. Look up the other threads where issues have come up over privacy, that I never even participated in mind you, and how others and why others feel the way they do. Maybe peruse a bit and educate yourself rather than joining here and a day later telling women to relax. Keep saying it's illogical despite evidence to the contrary. Sorry, but no.

Since we're on the internet this isn't real life rules actually. It's online. It's not that simple as you try to make it seem. And protecting yourself online is very hard as we all know laws have not kept up with technology. Multiple girls have tried, and failed, to report issues online and been met with nothing to protect them. This is well known shit dude. The police don't give a damn even when getting death threats. Period. So do please continue on telling women who do this job how paranoid they are. We'll all just listen to you I'm sure. Big ole paranoid me who has years of personal experience as well as multiple girls here talking about their own personal issues online will all just bow down to you and your infinite wisdom.

WTF is this even. Like, seriously. Yes, potential customer, also, potential nut job. Since we do not know the difference the actual responsible thing to do is to act safely and smart. We protect ourselves because others will not do so. You're talking about dealing with people who can hide behind VPNs, screen names, and other shit...so no, you can't actually deal with this in real life. Nor should you. Why in the fuck should people have to deal with crazies in real life man? That makes no logical sense on any planet.

And yet I've seen a handful of models that have reported their stalkers to the police, only to have the police take no action. If they're really lucky, the police give "advice" like "just ignore them". Mmm, the model has been, and they still won't stop, which is why she is now taking it to the authorities.

I wonder how many times we have seen women be ignored over the years Saffron? (Men have it happen too just to put that out there.) I know it's not as much in the public section here, but the MO is filled with stories. I've lost count about how many have been threatened, blackmailed, bullied, doxxed, etc. Over and over it's happened. None get help from the police, not even a report usually, and so many don't even bother because of the nature of the job too because of the cops lack of giving a shit. I wonder how many more who just aren't here have it happen too? Sad thing is it's extremely hard to deal with stalkers and crazies in real life as is, let alone trying to deal with one online. It's near impossible.

Who remembers the crazy guy years ago who came here looking for a girl who turned out in fact to be super stalking the girl everywhere? He came up with more than one story about her, all lies, and then we found out the truth of how he stalked her to the point of her being scared to leave her own home ever. That is one story of many, but I bring it up because it was a big one that was in the public section. This shit is very real and not something we're all just paranoid about.

Can anyone imagine having this much faith in the legal system? Like your post was douchey but I'm mostly fascinated that a grown adult thinks the police and restraining orders are sufficient. And how anyone that can use the internet can miss the fact that the authorities are having a really hard time figuring out how to work with internet crimes because it's so hard to trace and there are so many empty threats. Yes, the cops will surely know what to do when I say that one of the thousands of people watching me dildo myself knows my address and said he's gonna come rape me...of course I don't know his location, real name, or what he looks like, but can I have a restraining order against BigDaddy6969, please?

Those statements alone show you don't have a good idea of how these situations *actually* play out and probably shouldn't be giving out advice on it.

And frankly, I'd rather avoid having to call the cops or get a gun or whatever else you think one can do in that situation. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.

Or maybe I'm just brainwashed by @Teagan.

>>>> if they don't help, then you can do <<<<

I really don't like when police doesn't do what they are supposed to, but I also really don't like when people just fail to understand the seriousness of the threat they are facing and try waiting until it goes away. Probably won't help with a maniac stalker.

I would really love to address this part of the issue, but maybe in a different thread, not sure. I have to look around on this forum and I need time.

If you could make me understand how not helping people find model's rooms using show captures would help with the other thousands of ways girls are stalked, I would agree.

If people want to stalk, they don't need this thread to help them find the victim. In some cases, it may. But it's wise to address the stalking problem, which I agree is hard to do.

1. Uh, no.

Totally agree with @Fatquack. I second that.

1. No. You start out as a freeloader the moment you sign in a camsite. You buy tokens/credits and then the magic happens: you are not a beggar/freeloader anymore, unless you are going to camp a tent in a model's room 24/7. In this case you are just a guy who has got nothing to do all day.

2. Hell no. Being a stalker/creeper maybe it's part of your personality. Speak for yourself, pls. Voyeur maybe, Idk.

The paranoid
Also, personally I find it quite rude and out of line defining a model's post as "paranoid", since I guess it should be pretty obvious that all models care about their own privacy and safety. I'm not a model but I believe I would never feel protected enough if I were one. My 2 cents.

As you said, "it may", and would anyone want to be the person who contributed to that? I sure wouldn't. Maybe taking a gun out of a toddler's hand doesn't stop it from hurting itself in a thousand other ways, but I'm still gonna do it. Also why do you think they don't need this thread? Dude finds picture of the Camgirl who had to delete her account and rebrand herself to avoid him after blocking him on everywhere. What's her name? Oh, it's GenXOXO now? Great, thanks, let the games begin. This isn't to say there's no way he'd find her, but why make it easier?

Frankly, while I appreciate the stalker angle, I am more concerned that the many models who have weighed in on this topic haven't reached a consensus, and thus in your shoes, i wouldn't be so arrogant as to assume that, as a non-model, your opinion should have any sway or be relevant really at all. Some models don't care, some models do, and so a person with any sense of respect would err on the side of caution. It doesn't really matter WHY, and I don't think we need to parade our own experiences or even our fears to justify why we don't support sharing names of girls without their blessing.

can someone please post that thread of the crazy stalker so this dense ass mother fucking can get some clarity what we are getting at. i cant find it.

there are people out there that wants to hurt us because we do sex stuff. we are gonna look out for another models safety instead of maybe directing potential customers to them. we are certainly not going to risk any of our fellow cambbs so you can get some extra jerk off material. there is so much porn out there that you can easily go find something else to pull on your wang to.

sure yeah they can probably find it on their own. but we aren't going to help them. we don't know what random dudes on the internet intentions are.

not to mention a lot of those cammodels from capped shows are no longer camming. a lot of camgirls do quit. so even if we wanted to tell you, majority of the time we can't. because she quit.

Let's be real. Posting that thread of the stalker won't matter. Posting our own individual stories won't matter. Posting every story from girls who are no longer here won't matter. Posting proof of how bullshit ROs actually are won't matter. Posting proof of how cops treat stalking won't matter. Why? This dude, and others like him, aren't looking for clarity or evidence of how they are wrong. Their mind is made up and nothing said will change that really. People who want to pretend you can just deal with it in person like no big deal aren't thinking with a full deck to begin with so actual proof, common sense, and logic is worthless to them. Apparently we should just walk up to stalkers (not sure how you do that online but that seems like a purposefully ignored point) and just ask them pretty please to stop. With cherries and whip cream on top too. That's all it takes. Stalkers and safety be damned because maybe that girl just might make $10 bucks instead. We might be directing a crazy person to her but oh well.

1. Uh, no.
2. No, and if you think that I feel sorry for you.
1. So when you first knew about the existence of cam sites (with free watching possibility), you immediately registered, bought tokens and started tipping. You didn't sit there for some time (days, maybe even weeks), browsing and watching, stumbling across the girl who gave you desire to register, buy tokens and tip her. Maybe. I'd say it's way more typical for people to get teased into tipping by what they see than the other way around. I don't even know what the other way around would be, actually. Wanting to impress or control girls with money? That's even creepy.
2. I just simply disagree, but I don't want to go deep into psychology. I just think that everyone has their dark side, hopefully under control.
3. Looks like I successfully managed to be the most unpopular voice here, congratulations to myself! :haha::rolleyes: (But I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood.) Let's see what other answers I can upset you guys with… :shake:

@vrono Dude, why are you even here? Are you just here to argue with camgirls or what?

If you want to be a part of the community be a part of the community, …
Hey! :wasntme: I wrote what I wrote because it seems (still) to me that this proud bragging about how “I know her but I won't tell” doesn't solve the real problem, in fact it just fills the ones who react like that with the false feeling of having done right, when they didn't do anything, besides wasting some time.

I really don't mean to be rude or annoying and I myself do waste time and money watching girls online and tipping them, like most men here do, but when it comes to serious issues, like crazy people, I think wasting time and not addressing the problem aren't the ways to go.

Community? Sure! Will see how it goes, though… I don't want to give up my integrity.

I'm going to call this phenomena "Camsplaining" from now on. Which is when a non-cam model comes onto these forums and tries to tell ACTUAL models that they are wrong about camming in any way. Which includes the incredibly important topic of protecting ourselves online from crazy people.

For a non-cammer to come in to a forum of models and say that we're being too paranoid, - you are either incredibly naive or incredibly irresponsible. And while you implied that Teagan herself may be responsible for someone's death (side note: WTF?) - your view is actually the view that would put girls in actual danger. By telling them not to worry about protecting ourselves. That we are just being paranoid. That there is nothing to worry about. That the police can protect us from crazy, anonymous fans/trolls on the internet. Guess what? They can't. We know this. And so we do take care of it ourselves, as best as we can, by doing everything in our power to keep the situations from developing in the first place. By being aware and responsible and "paranoid".

We know what we are talking about. We have dealt with the crazy people. We have countless stories of OUR OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCES to tell us that we are not being paranoid for no reason. We know girls who have been legitimately in danger from actual crazy people. We know girls who have been terrorized and harassed and blackmailed. We know girls who have been stalked, whose homes have been broken in to after their addresses were posted online. We know girls whose families have been terrorized. I know girls who have had to change their entire name and brand and site, losing all of their customers, because they had to try to escape from fanatical people. It's horrible and horrific and unfair.

So please don't come in here and assume that we are actually "paranoid" for no reason. This world can be a dark and frightening place, and we protect ourselves the best ways that we can. And we teach our fellow models to do the same.

You aren't the victim here for having an "unpopular opinion". You are espousing a very dangerous opinion, and that's something we don't tolerate very well here on the boards. Telling us that pineapple belongs on pizza is an unpopular opinion (BTW: it does). Telling models to stop worrying about crazy people on the internet... That's a pretty dangerous and irresponsible point-of-view to advocate, which is why we won't hesitate to tell you exactly why we don't agree.
