All pertain to VR.
1) I do not know the logistics or technical side of this, but it would be AMAZING if we could move/pan the videos in VR. The option to grab them and move them was an awesome update! That gives us the ability to "tilt our heads back and forward" but does not give us the ability to "stand up" or move our heads up and down. Haven't seen the broadcaster's side of VR so I am not familiar with what they see, but many of these streams have HORRID VR cam angles. I realize that this is not StripChat's fault at all, but I feel like some kind of fix here would be beneficial to all. I have personally skimped out on spending tokens in the streams of amazing performers simply because I was sitting there looking up their nostril while it "felt" like their knee was hitting me in the face. Spatial location is so critical to the VR experience, if we had the ability to "move" the stream it would be great!
Whilst VR really is an amazing experience, there are a lot of "failings" with regard to the interface. What you mention here is a drawback. But it is possible to effectively "move" the camera which is what I think would be necessary to avoid your nostril gazing scenario. We can zoom in and out and pan and tilt, but moving side to side needs the camera to actually move surely.
I do think that many models/studios (there are very few independent models doing VR as far as I know as the equipment is not cheap) think that just the "novelty" of VR will be enough to attract tokens without putting any thought into the VR experience they provide.
As you say, camera angle / placement is absolutely atrocious in many rooms. I have passed through a number of rooms where the VR camera is placed in such a way that you cannot even see what is happening in the room (model is playing to the 2D camera way off to the the side of the VR cam). Low lighting is another horrible setup issue that I have seen. The stream is so grainy in that case that it is like watching a movie projected onto a piece of woollen cloth!
On the other hand, there are some models who use the VR camera in amazing ways.
I guess it is not really SC's responsibility but I do think that models and studios who use VR (and we the users) would benefit from some sort of "auditing" process of the VR broadcasters.
2) We cannot see "King" of room in VR.
There are many things we cannot easily see in VR.
One cannot see or operate the roulette wheels.
As a knight, it is impossible to mute (or report forbidden behaviour of) an unruly user from the VR interface.
One cannot easily tag another user in the chat (not an issue of all you are there for is a wank, but if it is a chatty room with conversation as well as sexy stuff...)
6) A "quick tip" keybind. This would REALLY help viewers and frankly revenue. Think of it as throwing dollar bills at a club. Bind a button that sends a tip of a set amount to currently viewed model when you press it.
Tipping is a bit clunky, but not dire, IMO.
I do not know if it is a part of the Oculus environment or the way SC VR is coded but I agree it would be good if it was posible to view rooms from a different viewpoint (e.g. a lying down position. ) (I think it is *not* down to SC)
