Well, Chaturbate seems to have some sort of issues with support so I would wish that Shirley would hire Dan as a 'support specialist' dealing with Ambercutie's forums 'New Profile Posts.'

I know it seems lame but every one of those people creating an account and posting in "New Profile Posts" needs help and this site is how they reach for it. It sure seems like a lot of people come here because chaturbate support isn't meeting their needs.

If I was Shirley I would consider Dan because he has a great typing style and seems to care about shit. But, the whole 'New Profile Posts" by sooooooo many customers may be too much for even a guy like Dan. He looks like he has nice hair and I would hate to see him pull it out after not ever getting a break from those posts.
Thanks!
I have some miles to go before mentioning myself in comparison to Shirley.
If you already mentioned it however, I can point to aspects and values we do share . We are probably the only representatives here, who appear for the purpose of maintaining a brand equity, voice and values, in the form of relationship marketing. Most reps appear here, and on other forums with a beautiful sales pitch brochure, post it and go. Most of them, unlike Shirley and myself, don't have the audacity to be known by their real name.
As for declined customers and fake profiles. Experience teaches you how to make the difference between a customer/user story that product teams can use, and a horror story bent on harming the reputation of the brand. Mainstream freelance, and palpable goods market places have their fair share of very similar social media activities. If you think that a complaining vacation rental host is less vocal on Twitter than an aggravated model, you're mighty wrong :)
I like thinking outside what I call the "Assembly Line Syndrome". You wouldn't catch me saying "I just do coding", "I just do marketing", "I just do support". You will catch me saying, "Let me get this in a story form for our developers, let me get our marketing people to take a look, let me make sure we make all the homework on both ends, so support will be efficient".
There are so many soft skills you can acquire and perfect, if you're motivated, and despite the hard times, and cold shoulders I'm getting, I still am. I'd rather be remembered as the relentless Dan who kept on pushing and pinging, than the Dan who gave up on sharing his talents.

What do you think he should do?

I already said. I think CB would be a pretty great fit. I would love to see what amazing work Dan could do for them, and their image. They’re a large site and can always use great help.

I think Dan should just start his own payment service.
If I wanted to stay in payment solutions, I have more than enough boring vanilla offers, I’ve had them throughout the whole time I’m here. I could forget about the unique connection I have to the community a long time ago. I find an extra value in the adult community that makes me overcome the prejudice and pervert jokes from ignorant people. It’s time to harness my talents for the models, and for myself too, because it’s time for me to learn a new field. It’s time to learn traffic, conversions, seo techniques for bio editing, and finally to understand how the streaming itself works, to name but a few. I appreciate the compliment, however my mindset is somewhere else. I want to hang my hat in the adult space, not in the payment fintech space.

Fair enough, I wish you well in wherever you end up.

And also happy birthday.

Whatever is next for you, I'm sure it'll be great, since you've clearly thought abut what you want out of your career :)

I've been thinking a lot about this particular "what's next and where do I want to be" topic myself coming off a long contract at my day job — maybe we should all band together and create a startup ;)

And happy birthday!

I have this crazy modest idea, for a good content blog, that will actually bring good traffic. At the meantime however, I'm the Yiddish Nudnik pinging everyone in the industry for a job, and I'm getting used to it :)
Let me if you have content ideas, even if they are just safe for work.

I am thankful for the people here, and I’m touched by the feedback, I really am.
I’m facing the music however, no one is waiting for me anywhere in the industry. There were many reach outs, that so far, only gave me false hope. I guess that the content websites, and their decision makers, were intrigued by me at best, however not impressed enough.
I will stop chasing people on emails and Skype, or try to scratch every minor opportunity. It’s time for me to put my life back together after this debacle, career or no career. After all, what made me unique is being Dan the person, and not just Dan the rep, or employee.
