confuzzled about offline tipping

ok, ive been trying to do some offline tips each week. the problem is that they arent going through so far. im using the menu function since not everyone has an offline widget set up, am i doing something wrong?

I always just open a pm window to tip offline models.

The regular tip window has a link that allows you "Tip another model". When you click that, you get a window where can either type in a name or select the name of a model already on your friends list.
