Hello all! Fairly new here (though I've been lurking a while).

I'm 18, and have recently moved back home with my parents (rent is so.... $$$). I've been looking into camming for a while and finally took the plunge and submitted my id to Chaturbate and began fiddling around with my broadcast. My profile looks super boring and generic still, I still feel very lost on apps and bots, and am generally lost.

However, after a couple "blurry" attempts, my age verification finally went through, and I'm so excited to start streaming.

My original plan was to wait for a wig (I'm a trans man (ftm) who will be camming as a girl to become more comfortable with my body) and book a cheap hotel room for the night. I don't think I can wait for that (Even though it'd just be a couple of days)!

So my questions are as follows:
1) Could a quiet broadcast still be successful? I'll likely be able to talk quietly, but that's it.
2) Would something like Battlebate be too much for a first show?
3) I'm very uncertain about my armpit hair. This may seem strange but I feel like I've worked so hard to grow it to this point. I know I need to shave but ??? I feel weird about it. Basically just need someone to kick my butt and tell me to get over it.
4) I've tried to find information on playing copyrighted music during shows but have found mixed information. Anyone have a source for a definitive answer?

Body hair has become more popular in recent years. Plenty of cis female models don't shave their bush, legs, or pits, and some viewers are actually into that. However, it is still a niche to have hairy pits, so if you want a more mainstream audience, shaving may be helpful. Personally, I'm a very sporadic shaver and only shave when I feel like it. I might go smooth pits for a month, then ignore them for three months, then shave once a week.
