So tonight I plan to do a Vegas Casino night on MFC and I wanna play red black and black jack. But I noticed that in the wiki page, gambling and lottery isn't allowed. I was just wondering if my idea counted as the gambling.

For bets, I was thinking for red black; low would be 25tks and high would be 50tks. and for black jack, it would include stay, hit, and surrender, since i don't know how to play all of the forms of black jack. there would be 35tk bets to play, and if the member it black jack, then they win a big prize.

I may just get rid of blackjack all together.

My question is: would I get in trouble for doing this vegas night?

I think there are two separate questions, could I get in trouble for doing Vegas Casino night and would I get trouble?
Gambling and lotteries are against the MFC rules, they are also illegal in the USA as this FBI website clearly points out.

That said lotteries and gambling game are a staple of MFC rooms, and from what I can tell there is zero enforcement on the rules. But I suppose you could be the very unlucky girl who gets called out.

Would a show like this even count as actual gambling?

If the members are winning prizes of things like videos, flashes, snapchat or basically stuff you'd be selling anyway then would it even count? I think this is very different to having people bet and then rewarding the winners in tokens to either play again or if they get lucky even end the night with more tokens then they started with. That to me would be proper gambling, which I'm sure MFC would put a stop to pretty quickly, but the standard shows of this type I don't think would even come under gambling laws since there's no money to be won its more like an elaborate raffle.

I would guess it's maybe one of those unenforced rules? I guess technically raffles are a form of gambling, and if cam girls weren't allowed to do those then the MFC economy would collapse overnight and sales of raffle tickets and marker pens would plummet to pre-2010 levels, baffling manufacturers and stockists and inspiring dozens of thinkpieces by economists and journalists while leaving thousands of cam girls with dozens of hours of extra free time during their week unsure of what to fill them with. Chaos, in short.

I think it is more in line that if you are actually exchanging money from yourself to members. With them using their money beyond tokens. That you would be violating a rule.

I'd say the way most "casino" nights that appear on MFC are no different than like your sponsored casino night that companies and schools put on. Where money isn't a factor and prizes are the goals.

So when at schools and companies you wager fake money and are awarded prizes.

On MFC you wager tokens and win numbers off the count or like the model loses clothing. Or you win a video etc.

The three elements of gambling are a prize, consideration (something of value to both sides) and chance. If you or Best Buy sell raffle tickets for $10 for a chance of winning the latest iPad that's clearly gambling. If you don't, believe me, try it front of your local police station. It doesn't somehow magically become legal because a pretty camgirl is selling the tickets for 99 tokens, and includes pictures and videos of her on the iPad. Eliminating the iPad and just giving away a video/snapchat as a prize would just change the value of the prize and might change the severity of the gambling charge but not the nature.

The rules regarding casino nights vary widely by state, but the key thing is that organization putting on the night must be a non-profit, which doesn't apply to camgirl.
Regarding the states where online gambling is allowed. Yes, in theory, a camgirl located there could run a legal casino night, but A. it would be only open to people currently in the state, and B. She would first have to obtain a license from the Nevada, NJ, or Delaware gaming board. I doubt even Miss MFC for the year or Leo has the money to do that.
Bob is right it would collapse the economy of MFC, so that's why it is not enforced. My guess is it remains on the Wiki (I've read the SM and CB rules and also prohibited there) so that if law enforcement every cracks down MFC can say. "We made it against the rules, I'm shocked that there is gambling going on here".:wasntme:
