What resolution do you want to be streaming at? Chaturbate, for instance, has an OBS beta supports up to 4k / 30 FPS / 21+ Mbps .

Not that many people are streaming at 4k.
1080 is becoming more common at 10mbps.
And there there a decent amount of people already streaming at 720 at 5mbps.

Not sure if you're looking for a normal 720/1080-ish webcam, a video camera for clips, or a DSLR.

I can't find any great threads quickly on DSLRs, but there are models that use them and love (/hate) them. The most obvious difference is going to be in depth of field. They're quite a bit more expensive than a C920 or cheap video camera, and generally require a strong PC to drive them effectively. If that's your interest, I'd start a new thread with DSLR in the title. The relevant folks will probably notice and share their thoughts.
