Hi All, hope everyone is doing well. I'm just looking to get some clarity and opinions... Bear with me
So just over a year ago I came across a model on CB, everything was standard, we discussed prices, had a session which I enjoyed so became a regular in her room and eventually became a mod. After a few weeks/months she started to open up to me outside of CB and she seemed to be a really nice person (As I'm sure most models are) She told me I was one of her most loyal and consistent tippers and that she was struggling to get tips. So I asked how long she had been camming for and I was told 5 years + (I doubted this time frame but didnt question it) However, I saw potential in the model and wanted to help her better herself whilst camming. This is where it got interesting.
I explained that due to other happenings (basically life) I was no longer able to tip as much or as frequently as I used too. So alternatively, I suggested that I would help promote, edit pics/vids and invest in her direcetly (e.g buying costumes, equipment, toys ect...) in return for 3% of her monthly earnings, provided tips increased after my intervention. I explained that her earnings would increase and I would also be able to make a little extra money myself in return for the edits and promotions and she agreed.
Everything was going as planned, I made social media accounts for her to promote her online activity/sales and get a larger fan base. I bought some reasonably priced outfits for her, made graphics for her profile and suggested a few ideas like dice games, spin the wheel, having a countdown rather than just coming online topless in the hope to attract more people and generally just to smile more. Some of the ideas were agreed and implemented which boosted her fanbase, room traffick and tips. In turn, I was payed my 3% monthly.
Everything was going good but sadly all good things must come to an end. Her attitude started to change as she became more popular, that combined with the slight language barrier that we had, I decided to stop assisting and investing. We left on a friendly note and I wished her the best in the future. Occasionally I see her online, still using some of the methods I suggested to her but I leave it at that.
I would just like to know if this was just a random one-off or if it could potentially be developed further depending on the model?
I have read some threads saying... 'Why would you bother with a 'manager' when you can just look at forums and other rooms?' Just remember not all models have that mindset and use forums like this and others might find it hard to implement certain aspects into camming.
Thank you all for reading, any opinions or perspective would be most helpful
tl;dr I worked with a cam-girl off-cam, now I don't.
