I recently signed up for ManyCams so I could do a Picture-In-Picture type of stream.

For example:
Camera 1: On my desk, focused on me working at the computer, taking phone calls, etc.
Camera 2: Under my desk, focused on whats happening down there lol.

I saw another girl streaming that (on Chaturbate) and I have been wanting to do the same thing.

I want to know if we are allowed to do this, not just on Chaturbate, but on MFC and other sites as well?

Also, I have heard people use ManyCams to watermark their streams with DMCA badges and their buttons/links to their social media pages and other outside sites.

Has anyone used this service? What are the pros and cons?

I would love any other advice about services or tips for streaming that you guys can offer too!

I love having a community to ask about this!

mfc is fine with picture in picture.
normal mfc rules apply. ie no man on cam.

with manycam its easy to add an image or text to the video. I dont think I"m running the current version, but on my version, on the video tab (the default tab) click on image or click on text.
I'd encourage you not to put a DMCA badge. To me, and I think to a lot of people, it looks bad and doesn't offer a lot of protection. The cap sights dont care. It may help some with pornhub, but they're pretty cooperative.
spend some time in manycam. Its relatively straightforward. You'll figure it out.

you're throwing me off a bit calling it a service. We are talking about the software you buy right? maybe I'm just missing something.

Manycam is quite common, although its lost a little bit of its luster.
1. they removed the ability to remove the 'manycam' image from the free version of the software.
This looks really bad when models leave that on there. Might as well have a sign that says "I dont know what I'm doing"
Because its no longer free to use without advertising for them, some models may have moved on to alternatives.
2. MFC is encouraging XSplit - see http://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Webcam_Software
personally I find xsplit confusing. I must be getting old. :D
3. Some people feel manycam lowers the quality of the video.
Make sure on the video tab, when you click on image that resolution equals the quality you're camming at.
For example on MFC if you choose 800x600, the best mfc can do without tricks, and you leave manycam at 480p that would be dumb.
(you need the pay version of manycam to do better than 640-480).
Personally I think most models dont light their room well enough to take advantage of 800x600. In other words manycam isn't the one thing holding back your video quality, and if it gives you great features at a good price go ahead and use it.

I can kind of understand Amber's "do a search" response. But I also dont.
There are some questions we get all the time that are easily searchable. "how to add offline tipping to a profile" comes to mind.
I dont think manycam is in the 'beaten dead hose' category.

Hope that helped. sorry, didn't see your post until late last night.

Just directly answering the question in the topic with a "clearly many people do" sort of response. Your reply was helpful, thank you.

Yes, thank you for your thoughts. I ended up getting ManyCams. I dig it. I personally think that the DMCA Badge is a good thing... But then, I am using Chaturbate. On MFC the whole look and feel is supposed to be different, more intimate; nudity doesn't happen until pvt for the most part. I regularly put on shows that are screaming for some kind of copyrighting, and I think it adds to the XXX feel that Chaturbate provides its' viewers.

But I would advise other models to not use a camming software to watermark their streams.
If you work with the DMCA people they will help you set it up and get the page verified. Once it's verified, THEY handle the takedowns. Usually takes about a day or two to set it all up and then they do this 30 day grace period. But after that, [supposedly] they will handle takedowns of stolen video from your live streaming page. I insert "supposedly" because I haven't filed for a takedown yet.

But on Chaturbate you can also play around with a little (or Lyttle teehee) more freedom.
For example: I have buttons that float on the edge of my stream, so occasionally I will go all weather-woman and point to them off to the side. If they ask me how they can buy things on my wishlist, I point to the proper button. MV? Button right above that one. Etc.
The DMCA Badge I set to 75% transparency, and kept it as unobtrusive as possible, while still letting it be clearly there.

Check out my profile! I would love a fellow model's opinion on how it looks and such!!!
And if anyone wants the html code for it, let me know! I'm all for sharing!

Just in case this isn't something people reading this thread are aware of: Most of the recordings of your stream will be done by bots, so the DMCA badge will not deter anyone from that.

Also I'm not sure how much time you've spent on MFC but you're misinformed about the whole look and feel. Nudity and full shows all happen before private, most models make thei rincome from tips and public shows NOT from private shows.

I haven't spent time on MFC, so you are right about that. I wanted to get comfortable online, and get profitably skilled before I tried my hand there because the ranking system is different.
Honestly, I have spent all my focus on Chaturbate, so MFC is a bit of an unknown for me.
Thanks for clearing that up! I was under the impression that MFC frowned upon a lot of nudity in public chat. There are a couple of sites that don't allow it and I obviously got my facts wrong.

Thanks Miss_Lollipop for clearing that up!
I don't want to misinform anyone!! ‍♀️

oh no, MFC is a fuck machine fest in public chat! There are a LOT of very successful none nude models though, probably more than other places though.

I use manycam to have a lil watermark advertising my website and a couple things like HT. no point in a DMCA badge, you'll still be recorded so a watermark saying WHO you are is a better idea IMO. I also use manycam to record my show and send it to everyone that tipped a certain number that night.

I need advice.Im streaming on 3 sites, with manycam. If i have a private and want to close other two cameras, without leaving my room,is it possible?I did try to close one window in manycam, but then, all of them just dissapeared.how to set it up?Thank you!

I downloaded manycams just for the watermark, turned out it was laggy as fudge and I had to pay for getting their logo removed. Felt like a total waste of money since I found out about the software OBS that does the same thing for free. Not sure if you'll be able to use it for split camming, but all features like watermark, picture in picture and so on is there!

Thank you hun,i think obc is better, but i changed processor in pc and from this moment obc cant find my cam.i dont understand,i have all drivers..btw i have the same opinion on manycam..shit max for 5$,but easy to use..;) but im angry, mfc have a break button but CB and stripchat dont ..and obvious i have to close my chat rooms and loose all members.:-/ shitty,if i will earn more money, ill invest into better software..
