As a profile designer I'm intrigued to see how the new profile system works, but they could probably also implement that on MFC. As for opening up the network to musicians and artists and more, I'm not sure that'll happen as long as they're basically a mirror site to MFC. I don't see a musician opening up an account, knowing that their profile will also be on an adult site. If its separate and has no affiliation to MFC other than ownership then sure, it'll compete with sites like YouNow, but with that link to MFC I think it'll remain MFC models only...with the very odd exception.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were women who were interested in camming but want to be completely non nude doing more performance and music who decide to sign up because while it would be linked, it would be its own site. For some it's just a way to explore online and meet new people, while gaining a little income and some confidence. There are lots of women who are in this position who do choose to sign up to MFC even with its nudity, so I think a non nude site would draw in girls, even with its connection to porn.

I also doubt it'll be a big thing for freeloaders, seeing as a reasonable proportion of freeloaders in my experience have wanted a free show. At least not any bigger a deal than the regular site. Many of my highest tippers over the years of my camming haven't actually cared about the nudity or the shows, so I imagine yes it might attract some who don't plan on tipping, but those people will more likely be people who enjoy the social interaction than the sexuality.
It's the same with people getting scared that girls will boost their camscore. At the end of the day, some girls get paid for skype shows and then log off. That's far more "unfair" to the camscore system than going on a site that doesn't allow nudity. Yes there are some very successful non nude ladies, but for the most part being non nude has a massive disadvantage. It might give girls who are already non nude and have a strong fanbase an advantage, but I doubt it will give that much of an advantage to anyone else. Plus, by default there will be less traffic, so it's probably not the best place just yet if you're looking to make money.

Something I'm curious about is how will the girls be ranked on the new site? Will it be totally random who's at the top? Or will there be a similar to camscore system?

More likely room count. It's how YouTube Gaming and Twitch work it. The most populated rooms at the top, and going down from there. Camscore for room placement on a site where the model's camscore can't go down for being there seems a bit asinine.

I wonder how the 2 sites will handle logins? Can a model be logged onto both sites and have a few members on the CM side asking for a group show/nudity/private...etc....and the model switches to MFC and simply disables her video feed to CM, but yet is still logged in on CM and reaps camscore advantage from both sites? Also, I wonder if this new site, since it is linked to MFC, would possibly place a model in a kind of "double-jeapordy" by having to abide by not one, but two sites set of rules?

You might be right in getting performers to sign onto the site, but what about members who don't want to be associated with a xxx cam site? Right now as it stands models from MFC can PM members on Cammunity...and there isn't a day that goes by when I'm on MFC that a random model doesn't PM me trying to persuade me to visit her room.
As of right now, the ranking is by room size.

When a model is logged into CM you can see them as logged in on MFC. You can't see their video, but you can see them as logged in, and vice versa.

I'm checking it out and watching Picnic get ready, which is actually really fun for me having her on in the background singing and chatting. It's really nice, she seems really natural and no pressure. I can see this moving a little bit further towards twitch, where you might get more female viewers who are there to hang out with a mate. There are lots of options for men to do this but it's relatively untapped for women. Mostly we have tutorials on Youtube, and some youtubers become incredibly successful. But this would be a cool way for interaction and doing fun stuff without the sexual parts. I can see in this that being connected to a camsite could be negative, but at least until it gets to that point it is good being something fun for models.

I really like the idea of logging onto this site while getting ready, while maybe you wouldn't earn anything, it's a nice opportunity for regulars to see you and check you out. At the end of the day, putting make up on is just wasting time. This could be fun for times when you're editing content, getting ready for cam or a night out, cleaning, cooking or just doing something which would be unlikely to earn much but you might get tipped for, or it might build a closer relationship with your regulars.

Another use would be at conventions, where you're so busy and the connection is often so shit you may not be being tipped, and you're not doing any form of nudity, but you still want to stream your cam to share the fun.

Right, but does the camscore award feature of CM require the model to have a video feed on CM or just logged in on either site?

That is a member cam settings. The same exists on MFC right now.
Oh, I thought it was different because I was logged into my account. :(

whorenichols having some problems getting on cammunity
the screenshot also provides us non-models and those models who haven't signed up with confirmation on what's been said about camscore.

I think she's making a joke about the softcore part of her name? Clearly it's the "whore" that isn't acceptable.

When they're logged into one site, it appears they are logged into both sites. Its just that while boradcasting on CM they aren't contributing to cam score, any tips they get act as offline tips on MFC.

I think it sounds nifty. I'd love to have a site where I can just have a few drinks, be weird, and (hopefully) get paid. I think it'd be a nice addition to the cam world.
The cam score on MFC stresses me out way too much. CB is way too hardcore sexual. And on SM if you stop to talk to someone in free chat for more than a minute everyone assumes you're "busy" and leaves without getting a show.

...I'd imagine that a lot of models wouldn't really even use the main MFC site so their cam score "boost" would be irrelevant.

Um, models aren't getting naked nor doing sexual things there, according to its own rules. So how are people freeloading? They're not sitting there, not tipping, while others tip for nudity and shows when it's a non-nude site.

I don't think this should be seen as a "tip me for existing" type thing. If models want tips for their time, then stay on MFC, where they can set goals and incentives for members to tip towards. Expecting tips just for showing up, either on MFC or Cammu, is a sense of entitlement that is beyond words. I wouldn't expect the tipping to be anywhere near the potential of MFC; even Harli only got a few 5-10 token tips here and there while on it, and she normally makes a hell of a lot more in the same time frame. There's no nudity countdowns. There's no show countdowns. there's no groups or privates. Any tips recieved should be looked at like the donations on Twitch, because people feel like tipping.

If i got tipped for existing i could log in with no make up, no lighting, no topic prepared. I would sit with my stomach rolls showing, and read a book or maybe watch tv. Scratch my pubes. you know, the shit i do when im not on cam. THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME.

I'd really like to do that tonight. ive had a really bad day, and i'd just like to be online without having to spend the next hour figuring out how to be pretty, entertaining etc. But im gonna spend that hour making some vidoe deals and some games, preparing a topic, and doing my hair and make up and sending out some messages to regs to make sure they know i'll be on, snapchatting to build up some excitement etc.. because i know that my job is to be online to entertain people, not to show up in my pajamas and scratch my pubes on camera while being paid to simply exist.

when i am on cam, i am focussed on entertaining people, being an attractive fun outgoing person that people want to engage with and be entertained by. I will do things that are entertaining to watch.I have put time into my show ideas, just like ANY OTHER ENTERTAINER WHO MAY OR MAY NOT TAKE THEIR CLOTHES OFF BUT STILL GETS PAID FOR IT.

snip "it's completely non-nude and will have similar rules to Youtube, Instagram and Twitch."

I'm excited to learn how similar it is to these sites.
It'd be a blast to stream in public, or bring on friends regardless of their gender.

I have been dying to chat with everyone about this since I started helping them test it, and now it's finally being rolled out enough that I feel OK making this post!

MFC has a new version of their site called Cammunity. It's currently in very early beta and not officially launched yet. It's for MFC models to log in and hang out with members with no worry of camscore. It's completely non-nude and will have similar rules to Youtube, Instagram and Twitch.

Tokens received (tips work the same, and members use their current MFC tokens/buy more tokens on MFC to use at Cammu) all still go on the model's MFC account. As far as I've been told, the tokens do positively affect her MFC rank and score just like an offline tip would.

I logged on for the initial test last Wednesday evening to give them some feedback and help find some bugs, now Harli is testing it out and everything looks awesome! I've got a couple more notes I'm sending in today to help them get some final tweaks underway, and hopefully we'll see it in a grander scale soon. :)

They have a really cool interface for profiles on Cammunity, and I love how customizable it is without even using any html. :)

So as we get to learn more about the new site, let's discuss it here!

As far as I know its not like YouTube as you have to 18+ and cis women only...as of right now.

I think this is a cool idea and I'm excited to see where it goes over time.

(This makes me wish I was a good non-nude model but I basically am the "fuck me now and don't try to get to know me" type of camgirl lmao)

That's my plan! I even have an "innocent" tip menu set for when it gets rolling. Silly dances, karaoke, PG fan signs, etc.

IDK, Honestly I don't see it working. Yeah, some non nude cam girls do well, but they are more the exception than the rule. To be non nude and successful you have to be super creative and really outgoing; quite frankly I don't think most models will be able to do it. Not only that, but there are only so many customers willing to pay for non nude cams, if all of a sudden there are 500 options instead of 5 how is anyone going to make any money? If you as a model are going to work for 5 hours are you going to spend it on a site that makes you a few hundred tokens, or one that you get a few thousand tokens...even if it means hurting your cam score? Its new and exciting now, but once that wears off I don't see it working long term unless it completely separates from MFC, allows all ages, all genders and allows outside advertising.

Ok wait im not done.

I love that you believe that we wake up looking beautiful and put together, that we just float onto camera like a natural extention out of our day, that we stretch to get the best angles, that we are naturally outgoing and entertaining as a normal state of being for us. That we just happen to turn the camera on to record. That the only actual work that goes into camming is when we begin taking off our clothing, that that could be the only thing of actual value. It's a lovely vision of camgirls, and adorable.

I really like the idea of this. When I was just trying to bring in regulars a lot of my nights were just hang out nights and I, along with quite a few regs, miss having the occasional no pressure nights. I'd love to see how I could use this as more of a reward system. So long as I reach my goals on MFC through the week I can set a day where its just for hang outs on the other site. This way all my hard work building up my CS doesn't get flattened on one night of just goofing off with my regulars.

I think it is an interesting idea because sometimes I want to just hangout and chat without the pressure of camscore and have a couple of drinks and play video games. I think this could also be useful to do fun shows when youre on shark week so youre not pressured into having to do a bunch of sexy stuff.

WHAT HORRIBLE TIMING FOR ME TO BE MOVING!

I'm going to use the FUCK out of this site. Gaming, music, crocheting, hanging out, but no pressure to shill my porn when I'm not feeling sexual... yes yesyes yeyesysyyeeysyyesyeyesyseyesyesysyessssssssss

IT'S LIKE IT WAS MADE FOR ME, FUCKING DICKTITS I'M SO EXCITED.

Does anyone have any info on how CB's non-nude site is doing? I don't know if comparisons can be made but it might give an idea as to how Cammunity might be received.

Personally, I think it's a good alternative. I've seen models move over to Twitch when they just wanted to chill. Now they don't have to.

Camgasm, chaturbates attempt at a non-nude site didn't go so well. Maybe MFC will be different ‍♀️

Camgasm isn't a non-nude site, it's like Chaturbate and Streamate had a baby. A private-based site, with a similar payout percentage to Streamate (why? Idfk), but owned by Chaturbate.

and there isn't a day that goes by when I'm on MFC that a random model doesn't PM me trying to persuade me to visit her room.

Random model PMs are a pain in the ass, but if you set your PMs to friends only and only add models you visit as friends, they can't do it anymore. It's pretty nifty.

You're missing the point. MFC is the working site. Cammunity is the 'hangout' site. One you work to earn money by doing things. The other you sit around and chill.

You can show up to Cammunity in your PJs, hair in bedhead mode, no makeup, and that's fine. You don't show up to MFC like that because you're working to make money. Just like a normal job, you don't show up looking like a disheveled mess, because it doesn't fit the job environment. When you chill out at home, you can wear what you want, look however you please. Apparently Picnic was actually getting ready to cam on MFC on Cammunity, doing hair and makeup and stuff. And on that kind of site, that's fine.

If you're going to look at the 'hangout' site as another part of the job, then don't do it. MFC is the job. It's not meant to be a place models can go and just make money while not working like they do on MFC, SM, or CB. No model should expect tips just for being there. It's an added bonus of the site.

Just like Twitch isn't a site where people are expected to donate or give bits or subscribe (to the 1% of Twitch users that get subs) just for watching someone play games, or do the IRL stuff or the creative stuff. 99% of Twitch streamers make $0 from doing it. They're mostly hanging out and playing games, or talking with anyone who might be chatting (since the vast majority of Twitch streamers also get very few viewers). The same for YouTube. Millions of people post videos or stream on YouTube, and only a handful make any money while doing it. Like Twitch, only the top 1% of people on Youtube can earn a living on Youtube. But they still post their vids, or stream. And many of them put in hours of effort for each vid, and in the case of streaming to Twitch or YouTube, potentially thousands of dollars into the equipment they use. And no one posting vids or streaming should expect to make any money from it. If they make any money doing it, that's an added bonus of those sites.

Use MFC to do your job and earn money. Use Cammunity to hang out, joke, have a few drinks, etc. Don't expect a chill out site to just make you money because you showed up. Like I said, just expecting people to tip you while you're not working is an extreme sense of entitlement. No one is forcing you to go on Cammunity to make money. Leo isn't going to withhold your paycheck for not doing just as much time on Cammunity as you do on MFC. It's an option you can use if you just want to chill out and hang with members, without having to do all the work you'd be doing on MFC. You might make some extra tokens, you might not. And since you aren't working countdowns, selling vids, etc., I'd lean towards expecting the latter.

And if you don't want to use the site because it probably won't make you any money, then don't use it. It's an optional place where you can be on cam and talking with members, where you don't have to worry about your camscore tanking because you're online too long and not making any money. And it has the added bonus of potentially making you a little extra.
