What is the difference between this and other hotkey MMO's?

Not rly a mmo anymore, more singleplayer game with multiplayer elements. I kinda like it though, but to enjoy it ya kinda need to pay for it. As any real(good) loot can only be opened with keys that ya have to buy(or grind).

I've been wanting to try Secret World for a long time, now, but could never pull the trigger on getting it. I suppose now is the right time.
