Should private mean private?

I mean… each site does private a bit different.

I dunno where you cam but like on mfc there’s private for 60tokens a minute and true private for 80. Members can pick which they want… so ??

On streamate.com they have two options a private where others can join or an exclusive where it's just the model and them

When I used to cam regularly on MFC, I had decided to only use toys in TRUE private (which is the one-on-one private for 80 tokens per minute) to try to minimize the number of assholes who like to record models’ explicit shows, and post them elsewhere. Plus I was more comfortable doing those type of shows with just ONE person rather than have an audience of dudes barking orders or making demands.

I like that models have options. And when I was on Streamate, it always annoyed me that SM models are automatically sent into a premium (private) show without an invite popping up for them to accept or decline.

WOW I had no clue that SM automatically sent models into the private... the more I hear about this site, the less I actually like it.. it sounds like it's put together in SUCH an insane way

and for the original topic, I also prefer one-on-one privates, I always ask the girls if it's okay that they close down their other sites when I know they are on several, and ofc they can just up their minute price if they feel like.. on SC I always do exclusive instead of i guess "regular" privates..

It’s just a wording thing. Private is like private on mfc. Exclusive is like true private. Sure people use words to advertise stuff to make it more marketable and make people bite. But if you think about it, none of the shows on any of these sites are truly private, because a staff can go in at any time, and that is in all of the TOS. So it’s a case of using language to market, which all over every industry is done w questionable ethics.

And yeah, none of us on SM like the fact that we don’t get to accept or deny private. I’m pretty sure none of us anyways. In general, none of us, like that. However it’s still a site where money can be made. Literally none of these sites are perfect. You just trade off positives and negatives.

I think if you’re looking to find an amateur porn site where there are no tech problems, everything is 100% perfectly ethical at all times, and the support are prompt and fair in every instance, you’ll be waiting forever. Just like any job, you weigh up the positives and negatives of each, and decide what is worth it for you as a member and/or a model.

A lot of us who do this as a full time career work several sites , so when one site starts annoying us, we can take a breather and go work on another for some head space.

Technically it’s more private than free chat but not as private as exclusive. So I mean, if we want to get really anal about it, it should be called; “more private than where you just met me, but not as private as if you were willing to pay a little more” . But that would be ridiculous, right?

As a user on CB I would always get upset when other users tipped during my private shows. Dude, this is my show, go get your own and tip away.
