tell me again how does a model get a 65% payout? been a long time since i looked this over.

It's all down to the amount of tokens a member purchases Anna.

Models get a flat 5c per token, regardless of what a member pays for them.

If a member buys a $20 token package, they receive 200 tokens which is 10c per token = 50% payout rate. (maybe it was 220, either way around that)

If they buy a $50 package, they receive 550 tokens, approx 9.1c per token = approx 55% payout.

Buying a $75 package, they receive 900 tokens, approx 8.3c per token = approx 60% payout.

From what I've read, more expensive packages have a slightly cheaper cost per token to a member but it seems to level out close the the numbers quoted above.

No, the model always gets 5 cents. Not 50%. MFC makes smaller amounts based on the number of tokens bought. So MFC can get 3 cents for each 5 cents you get. In some cases (Bawksy and I and others) MFC is paying out 5 cents and LOSING money for every token. Every token I gave amber COST MFC 4.8 cents. They lost money on that. However in exchange they got more members for the site. Advertising costs. Other sites don't seem to have this, or make it so easy. That means less members to visit said sites.
Basically don't think about it as a percentage, just think of 1 token = 5 cents.

Members can buy tokens on MFC for as much as around 12 cents if we buy the 25 tokens for US$2.99 package period. So would that mean that models make 42% period unless guys get a discount question mark. Seriously question mark. Hardly anyone who tips more than 5 or 10 tokens at a time pays 10 cents a token semicolon we pay around 8 cents period.

Independent models on MFC get a nickel per token and studio models get around 2.5 to 3.25 cents a token period. And yes, studio models are people, too.

I think Kathleen pays women like Alexandria Devine and Kitty Caulfield (who have porno videos in the regular Skin Video section) by the hour there or something to just sit there because it is real strange how they both sit there on cam for hours on end and never make any decent tips and they have been doing it the whole time since the site started. Seems pretty fishy, especially since Kathleen is usually in their rooms the whole time.

There's nothing fishy about it...I've talked to Kitty a lot over the months because she's intelligent and great to chat with - she's just trying to make ends meet like everyone else and she certainly isn't getting paid by the hour. When Kathleen drops in her room it's because Kitty is fun to talk to and I don't doubt Kathleen admires her loyalty. Same with Alexandria Devine, since she and Kitty are like bffs and cam from the same house.

They haven't done that in months. They broke up and moved to separate houses. Alex's shows have definitely changed in the last few months and I dont know how she makes any money. I get the feeling she's burned out.

Tonight was my first night in skinvideo (I was testing it) and I've made 320 tokens in 30 minutes. It would be better if people had not disappeared suddenly haha I was bored and log off with my 300 tokens.

I was very relaxed because I was not worried about the camscore.. And by the way, there is not camscore or a placement system in the page, is there?

And I've mailed Kathleen to ask her for the bank transfer payment because I can't find it u__u

There isn't. Right now models are listed randomly, and since there aren't many girls online at once (Usually 7-20 depending on the time of day,) it's not so necessary.

ahh yeah I think it's randomly for the online ones...not sure how the offline ones below that are sorted, for a while it seemed alphabetical but then some wouldn't be alphabetical..was odd.

Also there are models I've seen on there a few times who've never had a working profile or been listed on the main page.

Yeah I asked for a profile and gave all the information to be added to it, and never got one. I don't really cam on there anymore though.

I don't quite understand their whole thought process. Some models are begging for profiles to be made and then me on the other hand..cammed there 1 time for all of 10 mins. I realized it wasn't for me and went back to MFC. Haven't been on Skin in like 2 or 3 months. Then outta the blue a reg on MFC asked me do i still cam on skin? i was like what? bc i wasn't even on there long enough for any of my regs to know i was on there lmao Anyways so he said "well u have a profile on there". which totally shocked me bc i thought u had to ask for one. I never asked!!

I went and followed his link and sure enough they have a profile up for me. And some of it isn't even true. Like my height lol But they took a pic obviously during me being online on MFC.( I know bc of the outfit in the pic) & they stole most of the info off my MFC profile.

Im not really mad but I just think it was stupid on their part seeing how I don't even like that site. MFC is it for me.

The profile system isn't really the best right now. Admin can set up and edit but you can't. Eventually that will change. They're trying to get everyone set with one for when you start. A default one (no pics/info) is always in place so if nothing else you can sell your videos.
I think the current time frame is in the next 3 months for this to change--about the same time for HD streaming.

No camscore! Plus you can call your own group. Generally, I get up and take my shower and set SV for group. if someone joins, sweet! if not, at least I didn't give away the show.

I gotta get my lazy ass back on skinvideo. I like it there. Kathleen is super nice and there isn't a whole lot of competition between models due to the lower number of models there. Pretty neato.

Is there still no option to view the profile of a model who's online? That always bugged me, I know Kathleen had it down as something to do at one point
