As soon as Mark Sanchez stopped throwing the ball high, he shows his success in passing, also lol on that botched fake punt attempt

14 - 3 Jets going into halftime , and the Jets D is holding down the Patriots passing game so far

Revis and Cromartie :h:

Patriots are out of the playoffs! screw the high five I'm running down and giving Lyla a bear hug (she'll have the police on their way but it'll be worth it)

These should be two really fun Championship games.

Cant wait for this weekend , I dont watch a lot of football but come time for playoffs I always get pumped up and watch too much ESPN :-D Here are the teams Im rooting for

Ill pick the Jets over Patriots (sorry Tom Brady but Croamartie and Revis Island is gonna step it up and hopefully shut down the passing lane)

Seahawks over Bears ( Have to root for the team that beat the reigning super bowl champs , even though the Saints were with some injured players)

Packers squeaking by the Falcons ( Ill take Aaron Rodgers over Matt Ryan anyday  )

and finally Ravens over Steelers (Just because I dont like Ben Roethlisberger and the Ray Lewis old spice commercials are stupidly funny )

Thats right boys and girls, call me crazy but I want all the away teams to sweep this weekend .

quoting my earlier predictions , i shouldve went 3-1 but ravens totally blew it  all close games though except the bears game

But Im happy that the Jets made it through, made a tiny bit of $$$$ with a bet on them and what I said about Cromartie/ Revis and about Aaron Rodgers was on the sort of on the ball

Well I am being forced to take a day off because next week we were supposed to work sunday-thursday and have our company party on friday. But with too many people wanting sunday off we're all being forced to use a vacation day. I personally would rather work 12 hours sunday and come home to see the Packers win than being forced to use a vacation day and the Packers lose.

And with that sole reason alone I am predicting a bears jets superbowl. And I suddenly stop giving a shit.

Your company sounds retarded...don't they know it's football championships time?

One of the better wagers I've seen...With the NFC title game only days away, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn are betting on their teams to win.

If Green Bay triumphs Sunday, Quinn has agreed to spend a day volunteering in a Wisconsin food pantry while donning a Packers T-shirt. If the Bears beat their longtime rival, Walker has agreed to wear a Bears shirt in an Illinois food pantry.

Governor Walker will look great in blue and orange. :p

The company is retarded. I don't know when they planned the party, or who planned it (probably a woman) but I found out about the possibility last week before the falcons game, and my response was, I either want to work sunday-thursday and miss the football game because I wouldn't be getting home until after 7 at night OR work monday-thursday that week and monday-saturday the next to avoid having to burn a day of vacation.

Vacation days are my babies, I love them. and I hate having to burn any when its not my choice.

I'd totally loan you a day or two if I could. >_>
BASED ON YOUR SCHEDULED WORK WEEK, YOUR ANNUAL LEAVE REMAINING OF
215.420 HOURS EQUATES TO 28.72 DAYS.

I might quit life if this happens. I don't actually give 2 shits about any teams in the running right now, I just hate the JETS. If only they were knocked out last week, I could've at least gone into the rest of post season without giving a flying fuck at all.

Oh how I would love a 6th seed vs 6th seed in the Superbowl ;) meaning Im picking the Jets and Packers to eek out victories.

Very interesting games this weekend, if the packers D contain the two running backs of the Bears, forte and taylor and they get a mildly decent performance out of Aaron Rodgers (he doesnt have to be spectacular or white hot) then I think Packs win.

As for the Jets game, Steelers have no chance running the football , Im gonna say Revis and Cromartie will have to cover the wide receivers long enough so Big Ben can hold on to the football too much and get sacked/fumble the ball  also Mark Sanchez needs to stop with the high thrown balls

Thats it for my picks, If I decide to be on MFC when the games are on then come on in and have a discussion/argument with me on how the games are going

I rolled over 2 days (the max) into this year. Have 22 days of vacation or 176 hours. My goal is like last year at the company party casino night thinger to put a raffle ticket into an extra day of vacation and win.

I am predicting a game of field goals low scoring game between bears and packers.

Jets vs Steelers I won't be surprised if both teams get close to or go over 30 points in this shootout.

I'm extremely torn about the AFC Championship. I hate both teams. I want them both to lose. I want to see Ben Rapistberger get knocked out on the 1st play. I want to see Rex Ryan get distracted by the pre-game meal and forget to show up at the game. I want to see Troy Palo... however the fuck you spell his name... I want to see his hair ripped off. I want to see Santonio Holmes tear his ACL on the historically crappy Pittsburgh field. And I want to see the game go 5 overtimes and have the winning team so worn out when it's over that the NFC Champion will blow them out 77-0 in the Super Bowl.

If it's a bears vs jets super bowl I think no one will give a single fuck on who wins and I will pretty much watch for the commercials

Of the poll I saw at ESPN at the gym, I havent been able to find it here at home however had a pretty interesting result.

48 states want Steelers vs Packers with 44% of the total vote
New york wants Jets vs Packers
Illinois wants Bears vs Steelers
and 3% of everyone that voted wants Bears vs Jets

I think I'm with the 48 states solely so that Amber's not pissed off at life, the universe and everything for the next couple of weeks.

AFAIC, today's Bears/Packers game is more interesting than the SB. A classic championship battle between two NFL Charter rivalries dating back to the 1940's. History in the making.

It goes back to even before the 40s. Though in the 40s the 5 most attended games were against the packers rather than the championship games they had. I think it was over 40,000 when the packers played them, and somewhere between 15-26,000 people otherwise in championship games at Wrigley.

I'm anxious for this game to start. Christ, I hate the bears.

Yep, my bad. The rivalry started in the early 20s. Either way, way before my time. :p

I know, I wish my elder family members loved football like my family does now. We could actually have season tickets. My uncle's family on my aunts side has season tickets and I've been able to go to some games. I went to the NFC title game between the packers n giants 3rd row up right on the goal line.

That was way closer than it needed to be, Packers had it at halftime and poor decisions by the packers offense in the 3rd and 4th quarter let the Bears come back

Packers come away with a Victory though

and now on the 2nd game...Lets Go Jets :-D

The Bears did kinda suck, but they damn near came back to win from a 14 point defecit with their 3rd string quarterback. A couple of key bad calls certainly didn't help. As I suspected, it came down to turnovers, but both teams played like shit.

Hope the AFC game is better.

what bad calls are you refering to? Because I saw a lot of calls that should have been called against the bears that they are lucky weren't called.

I didn't understand the packers defense of rushing 3 or 4 guys and dropping back in coverage against a 3rd string quarterback giving him time to find the open receiver. Blitz him with 5-6 guys force him to dump it off and rush his throws.
