Yeah just to clarify, 100% should not be impossible to obtain, it is what Choice management was planning for afterall, after selling the assets. So far before June 29th they had managed to sell assets for more than they were valued at, they actually made a $4 million surplus if I remember correctly. However much the liquidator is paid, it shouldn’t be more than some 3% which should keep our chances alive at getting a full refund. There is no reason to believe or expect anything under 70% is acceptable anyway, and 20-40% as I saw mentioned in other places is laughable. Remember, before Central Bank took over, the bank was actually managing to get profit out of their assets (more than 100%).

Looks like bye-bye money, folks...
Stolen by either Payoneer or the Belizean government, my hopes are gone... just found out about somebody with 90k lost too :(
Do you have some new source of information? I thought everyone was just waiting for the Central Bank to provide an update by August 28th.

I bealive that there is no way we end up with nothing...first, there is some sum of money( as they said, only money from puerto ricko deposids which belong to choice is enough to cover everyones account up to 100k....but that does not mean they will...i think all smaller accounts will be covered in full as choice wanted to...and others will get some percentage...maybe 70%...
Their reputation is on the line as off shore bank state...if news start that goverment stole depositors money, their banking days are over....and choice was only one of many out there...

Yeah for sure. If they fail to pay, their banking system and the whole country will go under, intentional banking business is everything for Belize.

Does anyone here knows any offshore bank that can provide an offshore IBAN and also is adult friendly. In case we get back our money from Choice Bank ... I don’t think I wanna have send my money in my country bank account . I would prefer getting them in offshore and withdraw from ATM ASAP...

Note that there will be a deadline by which claim forms are to be returned to the Liquidator. You may therefore wish to gather details of your claim (along with any documentation which will support your claim) in preparation for submission to the Liquidator.

You are encouraged to regularly check Choice Bank Limited’s website (www.choicebanklimitedinliquidation.com) for updates.

Very strictly speaking, being a fcp customer does not make anyone a choice bank customer unless fcp was really no separate company but just a department of choice bank.

I think yes, we are, because one of their products they offer on their site are the prepaid cards, so we us their customers too.

On the bank's site it says:

Services & Solutions
Prepaid Cards
Prepaid cards offer the best of both worlds. The safety and convenience of plastic and the flexibility of cash. Prepaid is a great solution for managing payroll and much more. Learn how CGP can tailor a cost-efficient program to meet your card needs – anywhere in the world.

And if you click "Solutions/prepaid cards" it says:

Prepaid Cards
Prepaid cards offer the best of both worlds. The safety and convenience of plastic with the flexibility of cash. Convenient, easy to use, and safer than cash, they are an invaluable addition to your payments offerings.
Accepted worldwide with easy 24-hour online access to account information, prepaid cards are essential payroll management tools. With direct deposits onto the card, your employee gets paid without having to wait in long lines and without having to pay check-cashing service fees. Employees can shop online or in-store and have access to ATMs worldwide.
Prepaid programs are ideal for:
Payroll
Corporate incentives
Pension payments
Marketing campaigns
Remittances
Travel and entertainment expenses
Branded with your name and logo, prepaid cards become an extension of your relationship every time your employee or client shops.

Yes, but they issued cards for their regular customers too, for payoneer and paxum...maybe for someone else also...not just for fcp. Nevertheless, they cannot ignore us, there are more then few of us out there :)

I sent emails to the Central Bank of Belize and Choice Bank and both answered me as a customer who owns funds there... If they have your money your are a customer/depositor

While this makes things easier in this case it makes me wonder if choice bank and firstchoicepay were really separate companies.

I downloaded Transaction from FCP there are transactions from previous payoneer card. I requested FCP for payments. They sent me Account Holder Payments and there are no transaction from Payoneer. Is it ok?

And Have u already sent the Notice? Name: Address: Email Address: (please use one you check frequently) Account number: (your account number with Payoneer/First Choice)
mentioned https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?222220-First-Choice-Getting-Our-Money-Bank

what did u write in "simple paragraph outlining how we are each individually owed" ???

“Between March 1, 2019 and March 20, 2019, anyone owed who has not been repaid in full can make an objection. I REALLY hope this step won't be relevant to anyone legitimately owed funds. “Can some people just stop guessing sayin “bye bye” to our money who wants to say bye bye to their money ok but just stop with that guessing or guessing we wont get full amount i know for sure ill sue them if i dont get full amount...so tired of reading someone guessing

I agree there are parts in the FAQ that seem really important but not very clear like here:

(c) notify each person whose claim is allowed in full (Does this mean people who can't be paid in full won't be notified?)
