While I disagree about your assumptions regarding abuse or a model's voice (some women just talk that way normally), I do agree about acting like little girls. Nothing makes me leave a room faster than age play. It just creeps me out.

I agree, I found a model that was really cute, but she talked like a little kid. I can't say for sure if she really likes age play, or if that is her natural voice, either way I don't care for it. I know that's kind of a dick move if she can't change it, but it's still a turn off.

I don't think it's a dick move, people have all kinds of preferences and that's totally cool! I think the original post from Mikey inferring the girls were abused or mentally ill was kind of a dick move, lol. But to me leaving because of her voice is no different than leaving because her hair colour/body type/personality isn't what you're into :h: Really the only thing I think would be rude is if you were like "I HATE YOUR VOICE", lol.

No, what I said is not a dick move. I simply stated that some women with a past of sexual abuse and BPD take on a sexualized child persona. I actually wrote that I worry that they might have those attributes.

Not at any point did I say this is true for every woman who has a child-like voice or act.

I also said that it makes me feel uncomfortable--- It makes me feel uncomfortable because I'm not into any form of age-play or anything that reminds me of pedophillia.

But yeah it is a bit annoying. The model I'm watching now is totally faking it so I don't feel like I'm interacting within someone's abuse frame or coping mechanism.

so I don't feel like I'm interacting within someone's abuse frame or coping mechanism.

Sorry, that phrase alone just gets me. Interacting with someone's coping mechanism? That's all you're reducing a human being to?

What makes you think that's all I'm reducing them to?
Maybe it was the way it was worded, but the implication seemed as if you worried a model's "act" was simply a coping mechanism by an abuse victim. As if any action a model (with history of abuse) takes is a coping mechanism, but if a non-abused model does the same thing it's just a marketing ploy.

You have the right to watch who you want, but it's just strange to look at a person you assume to have been abused, and attribute any/all actions they take to simply being a coping mechanism.

I'd hate if someone ever said something like this about me... that belief is a common misconception, people's speech is mostly a reflection of how they've been spoken to.
I have a childlike voice that I've been teased about my whole life.

It'd really hurt my feelings though if someone thought it was an act, personality disorder or because someone did some harm to me when I was small.
*HUG* R&B singer Michel'le is known for her very childlike speaking voice, but when she opens her mouth to sing it's like WOW.

Models who have long verbal conversations with someone who is PMing them. This is incredibly confusing.

Some models - myself included - do this when members (who are currently in the public chat) are PMing us to death about things they could've just said/asked in public chat. If you're right there in my public chat, yet you're PMing me things like "Hey, how are you? You look beautiful. What time will you be back on cam tonight?," those are questions I'm gonna just answer aloud. I'm not gonna type out a long-winded response via PM. Every time you PM a model these things and she answers back via PM, she's sort of turning her attention away from public chat to type out a response just for you. The PM feature is great when used wisely and not abused. Use it to discuss private matters like the details of a private show...or giving her the e-mail address for her to send photos to...or voicing a concern about one of the other members in the room...etc. If you send me a PM that just says "You look pretty tonight," I'm gonna smile and tell you "Thank you" aloud. And again, that is something you could've just said to me in the public chat...the area that the MFC model should be focused on (unless she's taken to a group/private show...then of course that is the area she should be focused on). Some MFC members tend to get a bit carried away with the PM feature, and it's not fair for the model to be expected to spend X minutes PMing you a response to the question "How was your day?" If your sound is working fine, you could've just asked her that directly in her public chat. I've tried explaining this to a few MFC members in the past, and they would get all pissy and say things like "Well I'm on here to talk to YOU...not these other dudes." Okay, but you're not the only chatting member here, so...if you truly want me all to yourself, then take me private. PMing me those kinds of questions...you're basically asking me to neglect my room and give you my full attention for free. And there are members who really will talk you to death via PM only - during your entire cam shift - if you allow them to. It's not fair to me or to my other chatting members to keep receiving silly PMs and be expected to sit there typing out responses in the PM window.

Yep, everything Shelly said. I used to have a couple regulars who would PM me everything that went through their heads. One would always send things like "Iris! That reminds me of this funny story about a bunny that I used to own!" and tell me this long story that A) really didn't need to be private, and B) definitely could have and should have been saved for off-cam. Or he would ask for advice on talking to a girl from work. What did she mean when she said, "Have fun on vacation! Take lots of pictures for me to see!"???

The other one would PM about anything and everything I said. Any food that I mention on cam, PM with recipes for similar things. Any movie/book that I mentioned, PM with a synopsis and review, sometimes with links to PDF files of it. A new hobby that I'm thinking about? PM with videos/books/websites to help me become a pro at that skill.

All
of these PMs are so nice to receive because it shows that the member actually cares about you enough to show you parts of their lives or to help you in some way. However, I am very non-confrontational, so the most I could do was to politely (and publicly) ask all the PMers to simply ask themselves "Does this need to be private? And does she need to know/see this right now?" That worked for a few days/weeks, but they would still fall back into their old PMing ways. So in that case, yes, I did respond out loud. Luckily, most of them got the hint and started either saying the things in chat or sending an MFCmail that I could read later.

models that don't have a name for their online persona. like if their model name is sexygirl1991, and you ask if there's a name you can call them by they respond with "i dont give out personal info" make one the fuck up, nobody is expecting your real name... (OK, maybe not nobody, but still)

Totally agree, when I see a model with a name like "hotsquirter69" I always think to myself she is the female equivalent of the member who calls themselves "9inchdickasaurus".

In both cases you can get good odds that neither statement is true and I always just end up going "ugh next"

Generally speaking, I hate this thread. I avoid it because it makes me paranoid and grumpy.

But, I've finally found something that models do that Genuinely annoys me. Actually, it enrages me. Those of you who follow me on twitter would have seen my little rant the other night.

Models who knowingly lead members on with false promises of love/wanting a relationship with them. I'm not talking about models who kinda .. let dudes think what they want or fill in blanks but models who are legitimately scamming these guys for money.

It's happened so many times to some of the sweetest people in my room. I hear things like "she says we're going to be together as soon as she can get out of debt. I sent her another $700 to help pay for it"

Some of these guys don't have the intellectual or emotional capacity to cope with this kind of crap.

I get that there's a line where we are delivering a fantasy to people and they should be aware of that, but when you have told a guy you will actually be MOVING IN WITH HIM next year, that's absolute and utter horseshit and i want to punch you in the pussy. Because now that he stopped tipping you, and you won't speak to him I have to deal with the pieces of his broken heart... and it absolutely kills me because you're breaking these men.

If you're a lady who thinks this is the ONLY way to make money camming then you need to check your fucking ethics. I don't know how you sleep at night.

I have a new one, don't hate on me, it's my personal opinion.
Shows with those silly weak ohmibods where a model is screaming and squealing and convulsing in pleasure at every tip sound WHILE taking a (fake) phonecall WHILE at work, having an orgasm right after she "hangs up".
I had the toy myself, I know it's fun and provides a bit of stimulation. It wouldn't be able to make me come in a lifetime but I understand we are all different and maybe it really works for somebody else. But all mentioned above together is just an overkill.

@AlisaMae Yeah I have no idea the amount of vibe, though I've heard plenty of bad reviews about omibods. I've never been a huge vibe fan, but every time I hear a new thing on them I'm like wtf...

That scenario though...what the hell? I'm starting to wonder if some are trying to win some sort of roleplay, porn award with the terrible toy or something lulz.

The ohmibod epidemic has spread to cams.com, even integrated into the site. A model I've known for years has recently been duped into getting one, and im pretty sure she will be honest with me about wether or not it's effective. Not that it's the same for everyone, but I do really want to know.

The outrage is hilarious. Yes, models, you pushing out poop during your anal show is annoying!
Don't forget, the pooping is an actual fetish.
and regarding enemas, doctors do not suggest to do enemas often, the best is like only 1-2 times a week.
I do think enema before anal sex is important, but if u do anal every day, enema every day is not very healthy

You're the worst

My favorite is how he says this after kicking the very dead horse about enemas:

Models who lack depth, intelligence and who are not skilled conversationalist.

Maybe we're overlooking the possibility that mikey has an enema fetish...
I feel it has to be that at this point. :hilarious:

That or something happened early on in life like a horrendously, traumatizing event involving poo.
