Ok maybe is not good attitude but me as camgirl- really dont like tjhat kind of situation . I have one regular who is tipping me everyday a lot . He is very good guy, and never calls nobody assholes and of cpourse is not his business if they tip or not, but they all just waiting for it- I mean : oooh he is ti[pping ,so we will only watch. He is tipping for me,not for them to let them watch for free. I really dont like this luirking behaviours.
Yeah same for me! I have 1-2 people who are „camping“ almost daily and for my entire show in my room, sometimes even before my show starts because they know my schedule. They tipped me months before but they stopped, since i have this one good tipper who tips for almost all of my goals. I watch how their tokens get less- but not in my room.
One Knight has called them out one time-but even then they stay silent. Me or my knights never insult them, but for me this is real asshole behavior.

Thats not just beeing a ““ little jerk““ and just random lurk for a few minutes for free- this is intentionally taking advantage of and jerking off at other people's expense. Then I really prefer the entertaining and nice gray ones, which at least contribute something good to my show.

Never assume. Don't be afraid to politely ask/specify your request first. Years ago someone on MFC tipped me 1,500 tokens because he assumed I'd do a dildo show right there in public chat (I don't use toys in public chat). I think back then that tip amount cleared my topless goal + half of my 'panties off' goal, so that must've been what he got instead. But he could've just taken me private or true private, and got what he wanted for way less than 1,500 tokens.
Absolutely this. I've had it so many times, and then the guy ends up getting grumpy because I won't do it right that minute. It's very frustrating...

I will not. After she said she got a phonecall, I checked her on Chaturbate. There I saw she got a tip for "take a break". She was clearly making up an excuse to me.
And yes, I suppose I was a bit vague by saying 'do something sexy'. But she has very low prices for everything. Like 18 for topless, 30 for a sexy dance etc. I thought 400 would give me a nice show. Then looking totally uninterested and then leaving; I'm sorry, but my trust is gone.

IMO it's extremely bad form to tip a 'large' amount and just expect the model to jump up and do whatever is put in the tipnote (or expect random crap that wasn't agreed upon) .
I personally even find it manipulative and extremely pushy. You don't know what the models boundaries are.. And I will very likely not be the only model who feels guilted & pressured into then doing said thing, even though it's not something I'm comfortable with.. Now I am old and wise enough to not go past my boundaries, but it still feels extremely shitty. And some might actually be pushed into doing things they are not comfortable with. I can imagine this would be even worse for models who are not used to bigger tips & and are tight money-wise....(I also expect some people actually seek out certain models/situations to get away with crap like that)

Either tip from the menu, or ask about tipping a certain amount beforehand.. It's that simple.

If someone tipped me 400tk to "do something sexy" I'd smile and say TY, I'm being sexy just by existing.. And continue on with whatever I'm doing in the moment (or give a lecture about not randomly tipping me off-menu and expecting whatever, likely both). (And because I'm an absolute idiot then offer to get them refunded XP)

It might be for reasons of my personality (being a peoples pleaser), but I hate large off-menu tipping a lot more than I hate freeloaders.

Yes you are all right. I should have been more clear. I remember being a bit tired and didn't want to go through the whole tipmenu and took a gamble by asking 'do something sexy'. She knew me for a while now and so knew I'm not into hardcore stuff. I would have been fine with just a sexy dance or something.
I would never ask a model to do things that's not on her menu.

I'll regard this as a misunderstanding and I'll pay her a visit when I see she's online.

Clipping audio. I can't stand it!
I can be more forgiving if a model doesn't have a ton of cash to go around-- maybe they're peaking their mic diaphragm since they have a crappy mic or something. That being said, mics aren't the most expensive thing in the world, assuming you aren't going for some fancy vocal performance. There are TONS of options under $100 and even a lot less than $50. It's one change that can make a huge difference. That being said, everyone's financial situation is different, so $50 may be a very large expense for some.

No one should EVER have their mic audio clipping from their software side though. AFAIK, OBS even has a compressor filter to even out the sound. You can also get a VST/compressor plug-in, like ones used in Reaper FOR FREE to use in OBS, so saying "but if I turn the gain down, people can't hear" is not a valid excuse. Gain =/= volume.

I'm probably going to do a bit more research to solidify thoughts and make a mic thread about mic recommendations / audio setup at some point if there isn't one, because it's horrible. There are top earners on CB or wherever with clipping audio that makes them sound like a banshee toad. I feel like people focus on video quality so much (and I understand-- that's probably more important), but the mic shouldn't be overlooked!
VoiceMeeter Banana. Use it with the Virtual I/O edit: been a while, it's actually the --> Virtual Audio Cable add-on. Unbeatable program, that's the *only* piece of software i miss, whether you're a streamer or not. Try it out so you can confidently place in said thread! :) -- https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/

Well there's a reason i compare the interface to an airplane cockpit!! So i have to agree... when i first installed it years back i remember i struggled for 2-3 hours that night when all i had to do was make sure input "B" (or something like that) was pressed on my microphone's config section.. *sigh*

I feel the same about EarTrumpet sometimes. But when it works, Voicemeeter Banana + Virtual Audio Cable + EarTrumpet + OBS is great. I might write up a tutorial if I ever get myself into a better head space.

I downloaded Potato to give it a try. Then the more rational "overkill can be detrimental sometimes" side of me kicked in. 😂

How long constitutes "a while" to you? If more than 15 minutes, I can sorta understand. But any less than that, setting away or logging off is not beneficial to anyone. Especially since setting away still effects our camscore, yet closes off our room to newcomers and leaves our regulars with no music/sound.
I didn't know the detail about being officially "away" and just being gone for 15 mins or less. Thanks AmberCutie

Entering a room where music is blaring, Gold Digger Icons all over Camera Window, before I can leave a PM that says hi bb, hru, want a Private. Lord, I think most girls look at what girls on first 2 pages are charging and put those prices in their tip menu prices on page 20. This will not work. Also take Chaturbate for instance,
Guys (I am one) do not come to these sites for the music, also I hate being called bb, and lastly, if I want a private, I know where to click. I understand you are hear to make money, but their are better ways to do it, I make Gif's here all some for you that all say the same thing, just each is in a different color:

Mildly annoying yes, but also the absolutely easiest thing to deal with by just ignoring and moving on. After 30-60 minutes of browsing on Stripchat, I usually have around a dozen PMs with "hru bb/hi love/what u looking for bb" (also from models I haven't even visited) and half a dozen friend requests waiting for me. Cleaning the inbox for used car salesperson model spam has become routine.

It's confusing to me why they sabotage their own public chat in this way, but there you go.

What do you consider "blaring"? I would rather not perform in silence.

I don't know what you're referring to here either.
I'll take a stab at this. :D

Blaring.... Imagine someone with their cars stereo and bass cranked up to 300% and your walls, windows and dishes are shaking as they drive by.

Gold digger icons..... There are ads in the vid box that make up for almost 70% of the screen. You have no idea what the broadcaster even looks like as all you see is OBS overlays.

Thank you for explaining this, because I was also curious what corky meant. I definitely get how all those ads could be annoying, though I feel using the phrase "gold digger" to describe camgirls seems a bit harsh. Lol.

This. Even if it sounds good in the physical room where the model is, many cam setups appear to actively limit what it think is background noise. The result sounds something between pink noise that comes and goes and a tiny, distorted transistor radio.

Okay, that makes more sense. I was confused because there's a limit to how loud I can make something before it starts clipping. When I stream, I control the levels with an audio mixer before sending it off into the world. I would never have a microphone pick up something that's output from something else if I can help it.

Yes, there are many models who have really nice audio (music + voice) in their stream because they bypass the camera mic entirely.
Probably not a coincidence you see so many microphones on models' Amazon wishlists.

I do really hate blaring music a lot. And there are too many models who haven't done it by accident, they just do it because THEY want to be "partying" and listening to music. Which sure that is fantastic and I 100% get it but you need to see it from the user/client perspective. You don't want to be going into any kind of store or I dunno, somewhere you are going to make a purchase and be blasted by extremely loud music. I have been in a bit of always hitting my mute button on my keyboard if I am browsing around or if I go to a room where I know the model may have loud music. Some do it by accident, but usually, you can tell these ones who don't realise the music is overpowering, simply by the fact they start talking (not typing) and then you have to say "sorry I can't hear you, your music is too loud". And that for those kinds of model will be good and nice, they will maybe thank you because no one else has said anything. But then there are those who have it loud on purpose (as described above) yet STIL ty to talk to you, and you have to say you can't hear them, and they can get testy with you.. Well, oopsy, sorry lol. But this and other reasons (having your head bitten off) is reasons why some guys don't report that your camera is having issues, or your sound, etc. Some models can just be aggressive with you trying to tell them and let them know.

I really do dislike huge side bar icons to the left which are too much and cover the volume button on the video, and you're having to mess with the video size to drag it to a point you can finally mute/unmute the video.
Luckily, I am someone who knows how to use the dev tools (to a degree) so can "delete" it from my end whilst viewing, so it isn't a problem, but I am sure many (most?) guys don't and/or simply can't be bothered with having to.

I had a shotgun mic, boom, and stand on my wishlist but took it off because it felt like overkill. Should I put it back? 😆

I have a lavalier microphone, but its usefulness is limited if I want to do nude shows. 😂

I've seen a lot of this too, I don't know if this is called putting the cart before the horse, say page #30 on back, girls that have stay awake music blaring, Gold Digger Icons every where, and a BIO that even the most popular girls on page #1 would die for, even I thought WoW this does not make sense, and then, you look at tip menu and your jaw drops, prices 10 times higher than top models. Maybe I'm not seeing this right, but I think I would keep prices lower than most other girls to advance in pages faster, you will make up money by the volume you are tipped. Make money first before spending a lot on "eye candy" and then trying to make up the money you have out putted by making a tip menu that even a Saudi Prince would not pay.
Again, I am for all models making as much as they can, but hey, get there before you spend a lot.

blaring = very loud, Gold Digger Icons = icons that say you want more money. OK, first I understand the music is to keep you not bored or whatever. Icons on camera window and now even inside camera window. I understand you are here to make money, I have only been on Chaturbate which somehow 5 years ago I was browsing and ended up there some how, and no was not porn shopping or browsing, maybe I got email, don't even remember.
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I would think that a user would come to a cam site to see a girl/woman mainly. It would be up to the girl/woman to make to user spend money and how much. I would much rather go into a girls room with no icons, just her, and not having to mute sound.
There are many examples but here is one: https://i.postimg.cc/RVG50sx2/screenshot-650.png

This is a portion of what a typical OBS user might see while streaming.

As I said before, that doesn't make any sense. The only control I, or any other model, have over sound, whether it's someone whispering or music so loud you can hear it from 200 meters away, is making sure it doesn't go into the red (which would sound bad, very very bad) and that anything we want heard is above the trigger threshold. If I'm properly managing levels and my voice or my music (labeled as Microphone and Music respectively in this example) is too loud (or for that matter, too quiet), that's entirely on you, since only you have control over the volume settings on your computer.

Bottom Line is this a platform were lonely users can come to see and talk to women, tip and get excited, tip some more and maybe Choke the Chicken :)ChokeTheChicken) Gif or is it a nightclub or Disco, loud, with icons everywhere saying gimme more money. There is a point where the excitement is not as fruitful because of all the eye candy.

My reply was entirely about audio. I made no mention of video whatsoever. Save for possibly someone with synesthesia, nothing I mentioned in my post affects what somebody sees at all.
