Clearly I don't know what 'embarrasing' things she did, but damn... it's hard making everybody satisfied at the same time, and sometimes it seems that regulars feel a certain kind of ownership towards the models 'standards'.
that's the word i was looking for. ownership. it's this weird possessive attitude.

My annoyance was simply that. You have your rules, you lecture people about your rules. But then you break your own rules in front of everyone who interpreted your rules as final.
But as I said it's all about money/tokens since it's a business in reality. It's your business and you can do whatever you want including breaking your own rules.

I would add more context to my annoyance, but I rather just shake my head and frown in silence (other than what I posted here) and just move on from what was experienced.

I don't care to see a model eat. Drinking is ok, but just something about watching her scarf down a burger is very unappetizing
when you perform a sex act, it takes out energy. food is how we get our energy. we all know this. i know there are times when im streaming for 5+ hours i eat on cam because i dont want to log off and kill my momentum.

not gonna lie, my tiny self has gotten big tips after eating a five guys bacon cheeseburger on cam.

This may sound kid of odd...but here goes:

The money stuff , arguing about money that sort of thing, begging for tips , well not so much...I'll just leave, and, if I get harassed about it if I come back I just remove from favorites and never go again. I mean its the money game so I try to give a little slack.

The thing that makes me feel kind if "icky"...bitching at other models. The whole " that nasty ass skank is stealing my customers" thingy.
There is a cammodel on SM that's a pretty famous porn star that has a really checkered past.
I admit I have been in some of her shows because well...you know. But I removed her from favorites and haven't gone back since she had a rant in one of her shows.
She openly called out a couple of other models who also make adult films and called them everything from skanks to the "C-Word"... I mean I heard her say some things that guys wouldn't even say, and she was talking about other cam models!

So, for whatever bizarre reason that makes me feel uncomfortable plus the other models she was talking about I knew and they are REALLY sweet women!

I am probably barking up the same old tree that people have talked endlessly before but I was wondering if there were customers who felt the same way?
I only know one girl's name on the site, and that is my old friend that recommended me to SM. I never think of bad mouthing other's, but I guess they know each other in RL maybe. I agree, it is sad.
Women should support each other.

A big tipper came into the room of my favorite model and tipped her for some very embarrassing stuff to do which she all did. I'm not going into details but I've never seen her do it and didn't expect it. It made several regulars (including me) upset and I had to leave the room. I know it's all business but please keep up your standards. If not for yourself, do it for your regulars who may become disappointed.
I guess I can see why this made you upset as a regular, paying customer- maybe she did some things you were just not comfortable with. But it's her room, and I honestly really agree with this point:
Who is the one being embarrassed? She can always say no - her room, her rules.
It seems more that you felt embarrassed in the place of the model, which is projecting a lot onto her. You do not own her or decide what she does. Did it ever occur to you that maybe she did all of those things because she wanted to- and maybe they actually were within her standards?
I think it's unfair to put these standard expectations and judgmental on models.

Edit: Like everyone else has said, this is a business. Sorry that was not clear to you or you feel some type of way about that. But that's what it is.

understandable. i can see how it puts you guys in a weird position too. totally agree it's much better expressing here other than her chat.

lots of members don't have a filter and i worry about them guilting models for not running their room to their expectations or if the rules change. not accusing you of thats!

*cue loaded question*

I am curious! As a model or member, do you think the most annoying thing is that a model can do? It can be either on or off cam.

I'll start with my top two:

It really weirds me out when a model starts to blame viewers for not giving her enough money. I am all for a lady saying, "If we don't reach the goal in X minutes I'm out of here", but it is another matter entirely to see a model say, "wtf is wrong with you people? Why aren't you giving me money? This is an amazing show and it's not going to be my fault if it doesn't get started." That is probably the biggest thing that makes me not want to tip. I just feel bad and guilty and I want to leave.

My other one is when a lady uses photos from other women to promote her own stuff. Especially on Tumblr it is REALLY common for models to reblog/reuse photos from other models and sex workers, and then add her own information and links to the text. Usually all I can think of is, "if this chick can't create her own decent content, won't everyone be disappointed when they find out the promo picture is so much better than the real thing?"
I get so annoyed with models who turn out to just be fake. Be yourself. Don't use somebody else's photos. Just be you. That makes me want to take a person private. My BS detector is pretty high so I know when a model is honest and when a model is full of shit. I'm respectful in a private show asking the simple to the point questions what will you do/not do in a pvt show? Not taking too long and if I want to take the model private for being honest I will. If not, I'll politely thank them for their time and move onward to a model who is honest and loves to be on the webcam.

Explicitly begging for things. To be fair, I don't see this often but over Christmas I saw it enough for it to bug me.

A "buy me something from my wishlist and I'll send you a video wearing/using what you bought me" or a "offline tip x and I'll send you y" is completely cool.

A quick, jokey, wink-wink-nudge-nudge "oh btw I have a wishlist lol" or a "offline tips make me smile" is also fine.

But multiple "guys, buy me this", "if you love me, buy me that", "who's gonna buy me these?", "I'm going out, can you send me some offline tips, yeah?" in quick succession just comes across as begging. You're not offering anything in return so it just feels like you're taking advantage of the guys who think enough of you to buy these things for you :twocents-02cents:
Some of those "wishlists" some models pose are just fucking annoying. It's even worse when Christmas hits. I just simply tip my favorite models offline if not in a private show and/or tip online in a private show, and avoid the wishlist issue altogether. Models have to decide on the wishlist what will work to increase sales and what will be a reasonable tax deduction (or not).

Haha the fake photo one is annoying, although I have not seen this on Chaturbate.
I see it often on Stripchat, models will take photos of random women from behind, the side, in the dark, etc so you can't see the face, but they have a similar looking physique and hair colour, then it looks like it is the model, or was the model a few years ago or when she was younger. The problem is, it seems to be the same photos everyone uses. They usually have 1 real one of themselves, then 5 or 6 of these fake ones.

You realize that everything on a model's wishlist doesn't always have to be some new dildo to fuck herself with...or something to use for you guys on cam, right? If she wants to put a cute purse on her wishlist (Something that doesn't benefit you guys at all, and is just for her), that's her prerogative. I have my reasons for not doing wishlists.

Years ago someone sent me an Amazon e-gift card, and one of the things I got with it was a pink Nintendo DS. :)

No one is holding a gun to your head, telling you to buy something off a model's wishlist.

When I had a wishlist I had all sorts of sexy things gifted like an electric tea kettle, mosquito zapper, or throw pillows.

🤭

Exactly, you don't GIFT someone something YOU want them to have, you think about what THEY want or need, and with wishlists this makes it much easier, the person is literally telling/showing you, so you buy something for them (making it 10000x easier).

In my MFC Share section where I have a few things listed like "Buy me a dozen crabs"..."Buy me a raspberry tea"..."Buy me a month of Hulu"...etc., I specified that it would be a GIFT to me. I don't need someone trying to pat themselves on the back for buying me a gift, and then coming in the room talking about "Okay, I bought you the crabs. So can you make me a special video or something?" Lol.

Yeah, like a model you've visited for a few years who never did privates and had a strictly non sexual room who suddenly out of nowhere took a private and all the regulars were like, "ummm" because everything just ended that night and it wasn't really talked about again. That was pretty off putting. Nobody knew that was an option!

Whether you make an announcement or move on to something new without any grand acknowledgement of it, someone is always gonna think you did it wrong from their perspective. It is hard to allow yourself to let your business evolve while trying to please everyone. $0.02

A person is allowed to be annoyed so as long as they don't bring it up and throw it in the persons face they were annoyed with.
Anyone who does throw it in the broadcasters face and keeps bringing it up in their room up can just walk away from said room or better yet, be banned. Regardless of how long they spent in said broadcasters room, they are just a guest. That's how I view myself, a guest and a customer. That is it and nothing more.

2 things i found annoying the last few weeks:

1. Animals in the chatroom. Don't know, normally I love animals but in the camming context it bothers me without really knowing why. This is not really a problem, I just move on and leave the room.

2. It might have been mentioned before in this thread. The "Daddy" tag and rooms that are designed to look childish. Like a room for a 13 Year old kid. The tag points to incest IMO. Here, moving on and leaving the room doesn't solve the problem for me, because it sticks in my head and has the potential to ruin my whole experience. I feel always very bad when I come across it. I'm quite sure I'm not the only member who feels that way. CB seems to be very adamant about avoiding child pornography, so I don't understand why this tag "daddy" even exists. maybe I don't get it and it is an old tradition or something.

As a customer, I just try to view the entire “menu” offered by a model (including private shows or lack thereof) as available for a limited time. If it’s available and I like it, I’ll pay for it. Because it may not be an option tomorrow. Nothing set in stone.

With private shows specifically, I’ve had it go both ways. One model that I follow never used to offer them. One day she announced she would do them just for that night’s shows and I made sure I was there to purchase one. But if it’s not explicitly offered, I won’t ask for it. That model never knew I was interested in a private show until she declared it a one-night-only option.

I agree with you, it seems to be a very strange stance. They can ban age-verified models for appearing too young, yet allow a daddy hashtag.
Another similarly curious thing about CB is this, appearing at the bottom of every page - making a distinction between 'Teen Cams' as 18+ and the '18 to 21' bracket.
Teen years covers 13-19, so to me, the use of that specific term on the site could encourage the perception of the younger end of that range, when the upper end that can legally broadcast (18 and 19) is already covered by the 18-21 bracket.
Why separate the two?

Agreed. In this case, nobody appeared to object directly to the model, at least publicly. Just some confusion and annoyance because it was out of the blue and the expected night ended so suddenly. Things were more the sort of thing you'd expect, "is she coming back?" "I just got here!" "long time no, where'd she go?" "she's doing privates???"

If I had to guess: Having a “teen” filter just for ages 18 & 19 allows them to take advantage of that word, which is a popular porn search term.

The 18-21 search category kind of makes sense as a grouping, other than the fact that the first half of that segment is already covered by the prior term. Who knows.

You're probably spot on, but I'd expect that most of the time, users find their preferences via those popular porn search terms using the hashtags (like #teen, #milf etc).
Just seems unusual to me that CB would deliberately provide those links in the screen grab that show cams by age bracket, and make a point of distinction between 18+ and 18-21.

Do you mind even when the model is fully dressed and not doing anything sexual at the moment? I let my cats hang out with me on cam if I'm just chilling and talking, but take them out the room before anything explicit happens. I probably won't change it because of your opinion, but I'm still curious about it. If anyone else wants to add to the subject I'd love to read it too!

If there’s nothing sexual happening at the moment I’m totally fine if a cat or dog wanders into the room and interacts with the model. If it happens during a sexual performance of some kind, it still doesn’t bother me, but it might distract me from getting in the proper tipping mood.

Preferably, if you’re doing something explicit, the pet is not anywhere near the deed being done. I know some pets will enter the room and interact whether you want them to or not. In those cases, maybe secure them in another room for a few minutes if possible. Because yeah, it can be a little weird at times, as a viewer. IMO.

Oh no, I was just making a point that some, not all wishlists, are ridiculous. I just do pvt shows with models and I may moving forward get a model something on the wishlist, but have never given a model something from their wishlist in the past. I'm glad this was brought up because I'm going to look into the wishlist option/s in the future. Just respectfully voicing my opinion, no disrespect in any way, shape, or form was intended. BTW, nice you were able to get a Nintendo DS in the past with the Amazon e-gift card.

I'm okay with pets in the room, although once a cat pounced on it's owner when she was very preoccupied and that was a little off-putting in that moment.
But I love animals and sometimes find them so fascinating that I get distracted from my intended purpose and watch them :)
One model that I used to visit regularly had 2 Husky pups and they were such fun and so playful, it really was great to watch but the tipping dried up as a result.
