And we got something similar, although confined to affected areas rather than widespread, with bushfire (wildfire for the non-Aussies) warnings back in the 2019/2020 disaster in my area.
I was a volunteer firefighter then, and the cellular networks went down fast when the fires swept through the local relay towers, so now we're seeing the emergency services in regional areas using Starlink fitted to vehicles as a communications node out in the field for wifi calls.
We had a test like this too here where I live a couple of months back! it went horrible and so many phones didn't react the way they should have etc ))

Back to the man - woman thing I get the talk over, telling me how to run my business umpteen times in my RLSW. I have learned to add in so much, put my procedure upfront, say 'only' or 'non-negotiable'. Many times I am asked to make an exception I have to stop long talk around stories because they are wasting my time and there. 'Only' I add after the private cam methods and payment methods because 8 times out of 10, after I've given the 2 apps I'll be asked for others, same with payment methods. I am however engaging with only men, so do it know if women would be the same or do we just accept & respect what we are offered? Some start to offer or try work around which often fails, wasting my time in the process.
Or is this because I'm a sex worker?
Back to the alarm thing someone was telling me about a documentary on UK webcammers, they were adamant the noise in the background was a phone ringing. It was the noise I know from a UK cam platforms, I explained this but they still were convinced it's a phone.

That's a worry so if kids happen to walk past your house on st and are talking loud you can get banned? It's hard to control anyone walking down the st talking loudly. It could happen at anytime if you live on a main rd.
It's really not. I've been on cam for 10 years on CB and never been banned for shit other people hear. Because I know the rules.

Like she said earlier, as soon as you hear it cut the audio or log off a second until it passes.
When you work porn, yes, you have to be really vigilant, constantly aware and strict w the rules.
Doing porn and having a window open where kids on the street could potentially hear or see you, isn't really the best or most responsible.
Like many people in this thread said, use music, fans and white noise, or some combo of all 3, to get your temperature needs met, while protecting little ones.
