I think the actress in Carrie does a superb job, really bringing out the emotional breakdown while still keeping it a coming of age story. She’s gonna rock it in series and films to come.

Finished Crystal Lake, and loved it! Watched Resident Evil again which was awesome too. I love how it almost feels like you're in a game. Lots of great jump scares! I really wanna get my hands on the new Elizabeth Holmes/Theranos documentary too, but it's not out in the UK yet - sad times!

Am currently watching a true crime series called the Pet Cemetery Murders. It's great - really eerie!

A bunch of my Halloween viewing has been the recent twists on The Most Dangerous Game format, but featuring elitist devil-worshippers. Ready Or Not, Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come, and They Will Kill You. All of them are a whole lot of fun, although I will say that my own need for a bit of social catharsis had me wishing all the badass lady protagonists were even more unstoppable. Like forces of nature unstoppable. But that's just me. I've been liking it more and more when the bad guys are just irredeemably bad, and find themselves outmatched.

Ready Or Not 2's cast is really good. Sarah Michelle Gellar is so evil, and Elijah Wood is so charming.
