The new Alien franchise is a TV show, Alien Earth. I was really surprised on the positive side. They took the whole corporate evil part from the original movie and linked it to the whole AI hype, without being cheesy. Solid, very solid so far. The whole Peter Pan intertextuality is not coincidental. I guess Bezos and Musk wouldn’t like this show:)

Am up to the final episode of Untamed on Netflix.
Eric Bana and Sam Neill were a big draw for me, they're great actors.
I think I've worked it out but tbh the main reason I'm enjoying it so much is the stunning backdrop of Yosemite - takes me back to my first visit there in the 90's.

Just watched Heads of State with John Cena and Idris Elba. It’s over the top and hilarious. A perfect summer cooler:)
The first John Cena film I saw was The Marine. More of a classic action film, reminded me a lot of the old 80's and 90's action films.

He was really good in Peacemaker too.

I love that Cena is stepping into a lot of comedic roles. It feels like he's filling the spot Schwarzenegger left open.
Last Action Hero but with Cena would be a remake i would be looking forward to watching tbh.

He is actually very comic and self aware, and very ample on the physical slapstick side of it. You can actually see that Idris Elba had a blast and lots of fun with him on set. Wrestling is in itself a lot of acting and theatrics and comedy. John Cena is truly an underrated comedy actor.

I’ve been watching bloopers of The Office. 😂

I recently watched 'The Cobler' with Adam Sandler, I really enjoyed that movie if anyone is looking for a fantasy/subtle comedy!
Also, 'Drive' with Ryan Gosling was a very good suspense/thriller/gangster style movie as well.
