Hello's.

A newish model's hooked up with me with Instagram. Which is very nice cause I like the model.
Its nice getting a vid through Instagram of her playing and eating lunch, With a "I'll be back online in 30 mins after lunch" sort of messaging.

But today I got asked to hook up with her via whats-app.

Ive not used it for a very long time, so had to go make a new account etc..
I downloaded the PC version, which told me to go away and install it on the phone.
On the phone it links to the R/L mobile number.

So.
1. The $1500 mobile was paid for by work.
2. The monthly account/bill will be under my R/L name
3. Mobile's have location so, don't want to be tracked somehow.
4. The number includes the country code.
5. The phone has ~5000 or so work contacts on there, including a lot of mil/bil-lionaire contacts.
6. Reading this forums there was threads about What's app linking to other social media's on the same device together, and prompting to other social media contacts.

So I guess i''ll uninstall WhatsApp, and say "NO" , and stick to instagram, or add twitter, or something else.

But since I'm not hugely familiar with whats'app, I'll ask,
1. Anyway to hookup safely on the one phone?
2. Do I try to inform/recommend the model to be careful with handing out her whats'app ?

Thanks for the help.

Can't write knowledgeably about the specifics of what each app does, or knows about what else is on that device.
But I think you're right to be wary.
Especially given the security aspects of sharing work and personal stuff, as you mentioned; most users keep separate personal and work accounts, and some use totally different devices for those accounts too.

WhatsApp does do strange things - example, my mother moved to another country and changed her device, phone number and provider; but WhatsApp continued to work as usual for me to contact her on the 'old' details.
I use WhatsApp on an old iPhone that doesn't even have a sim card - just picks up wifi at home. But I think you need a number to first register it to your account, but after that, maybe not.

Why not ask your friend why she wants you to switch apps, especially if you already communicate well via DM on Insta?

Thanks, and yeah I keep separate devices, and my phone is ""only work"" setup atm.

She told me today when i refused to install whatapp for her. She wants to start voicing.
I'm not sure if insta handles that, so i guess i'll suggest skype.

You can do voice and video call on Insta. Did it just the other day with model in Colombia. We both used voice feature of Google Translate to speak in each other's language.

Well no I cant.. (I think.. :) )
Cause same sorta shit, don''t really want to be installing Adult Instagram's onto the work's mobile.
+ before covid i was on international flights to a different country each time on a ~2 weekly basis, and being searched by customs very often.
... Cause I usually have a suitcase full of comp/tech equipment on me.
Some of the country's i used to fly to are dangerous with Adult material too.
(Although not flown anywhere for a year, and don't expect to in the short future either.)

And want to keep the Work devices and Adult devices separate.
And the PC version, doesn't link to the Pc microphone. So doesn't seem to have a call, or record a voice message option.

BUT.. you got me googling, so I found this.

= Bluestacks.
So maybe I will try this..

PS don't need translators, She speaks English, which I understand 90% of the time.
Not sure if she will understand Australian though.. Hey Mate.

Anyway..
THANKS for the help, Hugs..
Appreciate the point in the right direction.

Don't be surprised when IG bans your profile for trying out emulators. People even get banned for using plugins to just doxnload their own photos from their insta. Avoid bluestacks and others at all cost if you want to keep your IG profile

With Insta app, not like you are downloading a heap of porn to your phone. Insta itself is not hardcore, unless someone sends a message with photos or videos. Plus, anything you view on the app doesn't get downloaded to your phone. You can only save photos and videos from messages, and you can choose not to save them. I just keep two mobiles, one for work and one for pleasure, even though it can be a pain in the butt. Cheers mate.

I’ve never touched WhatsApp out of basically all the concerns you mentioned.

I use Instagram on my personal device. I don’t fully trust that either, but it feels a bit safer. I just refuse to connect my account to anything but an email address. I went into my settings and locked it down completely. Opted out of connecting the account to my phone number or contacts or other social pages. I won’t even “update messaging” like they’ve been asking for half a year, because I don’t want some default setting installed that results in a Facebook surprise. Not even for a moment.

And as noted, I can do whatever I need to do on Instagram DMs, including voice chatting, video calls etc. Just gotta be careful on the main feed/user stories, that’s all.

Hello BillyBoy, Thanks for the help again.
I'm basically a computer expert, that only has the work mobile which I barely use. Which is connected to work security, and work IT staff, with the phone only usually being used for calls, text messages, a work email, googlemaps, and work communication tools... Only social media on there is a Work/Personal facebook and skype which both are under a Work Alias / Fake name.

When I started prepping for streaming, I opened the insta, etc, on the PC. For use later.
Which now seems to receive daily, voice recordings, text, and the occasional topless video message.
+ Seems like Insta on PC, doesn't allow me to send voice recording's back, or start a voice or video call.

Installing bluestacks on the PC, and the instagram into bluestacks, i have now sent a voice recording back.
And I have a video button now appearing as well, which im not sure if thats a video call button, or a video recording button / will work that out later.
Its hard when I work ~16hour days often, to find playtime.

Yes, maybe grabbing another phone for personal, might be the solution.

Thanks, I wont install it on the work mobile though.
And will see which of those I can get working via bluestacks on the PC.

I hear you. I am similar to you in terms of hours worked. I don't have work life balance. I have work life integration. Working from home during covid has increased time spent working, but let;s me chat to my model friends at random times during the day when I need to get away from emails. Probably should get away from the screen more though. lol

Re second phone is you don't even need a plan (which you obviously know, but for other's benefit). As long as you have WiFi, you can use any of those apps to call. Apart from data needed when out and about, phone plans may become obsolete for calling purposes.

Yes obviously I know that, BUT I didn't think of that. Geez.
Thanks for the great idea. I'll hunt for a cheap phone then thanks.
