Hi,

I am back online after four years. This time on Stripchat and I have so far done three exciting days and quite surprisingly, people still pay to see this 48 year old man perform! 😅😎

Among the things I do not really remember is the amount of IRL/meetup requests. I mean constantly. "Where do you live? Wanna meet up with me?", "Let me share my phone number with you so we can meet up!" etc etc. Now, it could be that I simply got so used to it last times I did this so that I no longer remember it. I notice that my old OnlyFans profile has a rather sharp message about exactly this, so I probably had to write that out specifically already back then.

I am pretty much Streamate exclusive and it has gone up. It always happened but not as frequently as now. I think people, in general, are lonlier than ever. Ironically, given the amount of apps and social media that are constantly trying to pull us in. Its kind of a fake unfulfilling way of socializing though and doesn't often lead to any type of connection, so I see why loneliness is getting more common and worse.

That being said it gets frustrating because there are boxes that they check on SM before having shows that literally say "I agree not to exchange contact information with the performers" 😬. Its such a tough one to navigate from our end, because there's the balance of being friendly, but also recognizing when someone is completely misunderstanding the context too, and at what point its ethical to be very firm with them on boundaries. Its one of my least favorite parts of this job.

On a related note, myself and many other models have noticed that the neediness before the show even starts has increased too. Its something I discussed with a few other long term SM models. We used to be able to multitask and still get tons of shows, now if you aren't paying a lot of attention to your free chat, exclusively, they won't buy shows. Its odd. But I think its a feature of this increased loneliness and lack of social connection, that's going on. This only started forming a year or two after covid, but its like a totally different landscape to navigate and strategize. Exhausting.

That sadly sounds like it could be the reason. Great to get it confirmed though that it might not just be me remebering this business wrong but that others also see the same thing.

Yeah exactly this! I had one the other day where I really felt we were into some kind of role play where the chat kept going wild, but then he wrote "wait, how are we going to do THAT when you refuse to meet me?". Sigh.
