GIF Making

Hello ladies!

I'm obsessed with gifs right now and wanna make gifs of everything ... even just little gifs that have nothing to do with my videos. HOWEVER -- my fiance makes all of my gifs with gifcam and I don't wanna use that.

I need something that I can upload a video to, long or short, and make a nice GIF from and maybe add text. I looked through many threads, but most are closed for replies and the GIF makers don't even exist anymore.

What do you use to make GIFs?

It doesn't give you the ability to add text, so you'd need to add text to the video before converting, but it's free and super easy to use!

I use Gif Brewery and you can add text to it - it's pretty badass.

A lot of previous threads suggest online converters (nup) or programs that are no longer available.

Update: GIMP was recommended in Models Only. I'm watching tutorials on it now.
