How do you use social media to strengthen your cam presence?

I’ve noticed that many models use social media really well — not necessarily posting a ton, but posting the right kind of things to attract attention, build a brand, and guide followers toward their cam shows.

I’m curious how you all approach this, especially since social media can feel overwhelming.

Some questions if you’re open to sharing:

What type of posts work best to create connection without giving too much away?

Do you focus on aesthetics, teasers, personality, or a mix?

Do you see a difference in your cam traffic when you stay consistent?

How do you avoid spending endless hours on social platforms?

It would be great to hear tips, routines, or anything that helped you find a balance.

I think a lot of us could benefit from shared experiences.

I don't like to keep up with a ton of social media, but having a TikTok has helped me out. It's easy to make short video clips that show off the SFW goods lol.

It boggles my mind that someone out there has decided to pay an employee to make posts like these, and yet basic features like compliance approvals are not even working correctly 50% of the time?

For example; I get an email notification from you guys about SFW pics yesterday, as all other models/ performers did too. So I immediately reuploaded 2 pics which are SFW but which were never marked as so, when they were initially uploaded months ago.

Your guys compliance approves them, but ONCE AGAIN doesn't mark them as SFW. The only picture in my gallery you guys marked as SFW is one of the 3 that isn't

! . For real; what is wrong with the compliance department? Stuff like this and posts like these waste our time. We made you guys the money to pay an employee to make superfluous posts like these, that money should be going toward better Dev! Not this! PLEASE PUT MORE MONEY TOWARD BETTER IMPROVED SITE DEV!

Signed someone who's been working for you for over a decade now.
This post isn't about fixing this one issue of my Biopic. It's about a concern that the company isn't being managed as well as I'd like to see it being managed, given all the work and time I dedicate to making you money. I write to you guys atleast once a week about these type of compliance errors. Nothing ever improves.

I believe SM needs to get their shit together for their models or get lost. They are now letting reps scam models from certain countries with weaker currencies promising a fixed rate for the 25h work streams if they reach the min. But only doing shows for the lowest $$ per min possible on the site, bait then and dont pay the extra. On top of everything so Many other premium sites models can work and take their audiences to. Models never recommend streamate for new models cuz it is a garbage place to work. The geo tag is just like stripchat but they don't have the money, the traffick, the payment methods and everything to back up strip's geo tag or higher % they take. Everyone on token sites can be just non nude too unless take private. I have been so angry since I read two or three girls reporting the same scam from the same com artist Rep. Cammodels need to stop giving this site money. It is trash

I wouldn't go as far as saying the site is trash, as they have made some good improvements over the years, that other sites still fail to.

However a lot of my Regs who I have had for years have gone to MFC and SC, since they don't want to deal with all the constant site glitches.
That needs to be figured out. I'm not moving to SC, it's a terrible site. People don't want to spend premium dollars on a not premium experience.

Good job on implementing paid DMs, though. That's working well.
And the increased moderation you've made of "tags" over the years is also a way better improvement than many sites have bothered to make on anything.
As well as this I do like the new model UI. C4S has changed their workspace to make it more cumbersome and confusing, whereas SM changed theirs in a way, that actually makes intuitive sense, and is easy to use. Instead of replacing a 1-page form, with a 3-page one

I absolutely recommend SM as a good place for new models to work, as I still make way more money there than any other live stream site I've tried.
I've been working there since 2013.

I would never. I started there myself and it was boring 4 years ago already (I roughly did 70usd my first hours part time). Site is so dead it makes you think no one was wifi

First of all, Alex is not a scammer and is not misleading models.
Alex is an official representative dedicated to the Brazilian market, and the current offer being referenced is part of a structured project aimed specifically at selected models in Brazil. During the onboarding process, every detail of the offer — including all mandatory requirements and performance criteria — is clearly communicated.


Participation is entirely voluntary, and the models who choose to join do so because the offer aligns with their own interests and goals. Whenever a model is removed from the program, it is only after prior communication explaining exactly which requirements were not met. There is continuous, direct, and transparent communication with every model involved in this project.

That said, we take concerns from models seriously, and if someone feels misinformed or confused about an offer, we always encourage them to reach out directly so we can review the situation together and resolve it correctly.
