so i started to cam again, few days ago, its almost like magic to do it lately as i have a 10 moths baby boy and my dog and cat fooling around through the house all day!
Question: if my dog appears infront of my cam, like just walking around, am i going to be banned? My &¨%$# cat also is always jumping around, i am always jumpy about him showing on cam. The easy part is my son, which is sleeping while i cam, anyway, i dont get naked or do sexual shows at all as my shows re more into BDSM.
to make it easier, as each site has a policy, im on AW. Tried to find on FAQ something about it, but all they mention is that pets cant show on videos or pics.
thnx for any input.

Can only speak for mfc, where I've seen loads of pets, especially cats, and it doesn't seem to cross anyone's mind there might be anything wrong with it. Certainly hadn't occurred to me. I can think of one model who even takes tokens for club membership status with her dog.

ok, this is what i've got from AW. Just a heads up for other camgirls.

WOW!!! that is a hard one to comply with, how can you make sure your pet doesn't sneak into the room if you forget to close the door etc or hiding in room. On CB and MFC a lot of girls have their pets with them when they cam. In some rooms the pet is part of the room and will be greeted by viewers etc. Sure you will get the odd stupid or vulgar remark but it is easy for girl to ban the idiot.

I agree, and for me its hard coz i have a dog and a cat. the dog is manageable but the cat.......(!!!!)
i already can cam only when my baby is asleep, so now its harder having to take care of the pets not to show on cam.
this is really a pain!

One of my model friends on mfc had been told by another model in her studio that it wasn't ok. So I sent her the actual rules.

"animals/pets on camera in a sexual or provocative context." is forbidden [1]

Later a different model friend got a warning from mfc for for her dog humping a pillow on cam. I can see how that would be a problem. As long as you watch out for things like that, its fine. (on mfc).

Bummer about adult works policy.

That does seem pretty strict of adultwork, yeah. Wonder how often and how rigidly they enforce it, or if it's one of those rules that's just there to give them the automatic right to take action if they should have any suspicion of anything untoward.

I know there are some fucktards who will do sex with animals, but then most of people would never do that to an animal. My pets are my best friends. anyway, i have to play by the rules or im out....lol

For what it's worth, MFC is very lax with the pets on cam rule. As long as you aren't implying that you'll use the animal in a sexual context, and it's just being a normal dog or cat chilling in the background, then you'll be fine. That's one of the main reasons that I could never switch sites. My animals have free reign of the house, so they're on cam with me EVERY time I log in. But that way, all you'll have to worry about is hearing your baby cry.

As for doing shows and having to cut them short: Some girls with babies will say that an emergency came up, but they'll get back on in [30 minutes/an hour/whatever] to finish the show. That way members don't think you're scamming them for their money.

good points! the good thing about AW is that they offer multiple ways of making money: on cam (directcam or cam bookings), by phone (booked), by directIM (only chat) or using all the above.
I make good on directIM, which is cool coz i dnt need to go on cam when the baby is awake. One of my worries is exactly what u said: what should i do when im in a show and the baby cries???? Saying an emergency came up is ok, but it doesnt mean the guy will believe me or wait for me to cam again. Any inputs?
The pets thing are also something to worry about as if they show on cam, i could be easily banned.
sigh - too much to cope with...lol

For all intents and purposes, there's beastiality issues, even though there's no beastiality shit going on. There's also the 2257 compliance issues, as the pets probably aren't over the age of eighteen and the proper documentation doesn't exist.

Bullshit nanny-state policies, I know, but in a bureaucratic reality, one must protect themselves against lawyers and handcuffs.

for anyone wondering, streamate bans it too. no pets on cam.

i deal with it: my camspace is set up the way that my dogs can't be visible on cam or walk up behind me, because i can't lock them out.

I am wondering about this too...I live alone and besides my bf, you girls/guys, family and camming I essentially have no one to talk to during the day... I also do not go outside a lot because of anxiety issues and I would really love to get a little dog. I think it would also be very cool to have a dog with me on MFC, lol. Ofcourse I will make sure the dog will be not in view when I do a cumshow or a Skype . MFC indeed is cool with it... but SM really bans you for having a pet on cam? Well then I have to wait until MFC takes on :p

they will suspend you, for like..1-2 days. if it happens too often they can ban you completely.
i wouldn't want my dogs to be on cam on streamate with me honestly, too many creepy people that would take this as the perfect chance to start talking about bestiality.

Ditto. Not to mention, it's an easy way for Streamate to cover their ass and minimize the chance for illegal activity while being efficient in their monitoring.

Say they get a report of a model performing bestiality on cam. They go see her stream/shows and instantly see a dog hanging out on the bed next to her. What's easier for support to do? Sitting and waiting until they see her perform an act with the dog? Scour through all her previous shows to verify the report? Or just taking that quick glance, suspending outright just for an animal being on cam, and moving on to the next report? It might be a bit of overkill, but it makes sense to just eliminate any gray area. If there's no animal in the room, it keeps things simple, efficient, and plain-as-day easy to follow.

As innocent as it typically is to have an animal on cam, you gotta remind yourself that most visitors to camsites are expecting sex stuff*. So of course there shouldn't be a dog next to you.

*Obviously we know camming's more than just porn, and is multi-faceted and full of variables. But most people's initial impressions of camsites are about sexy shenanigans.

Still seems a little bit of over kill to me. For the 1000's of times I have seen girls on CB and MFC with their pets on cam, I have yet to see anything even slightly inappropriate. But I do agree it is easier for them to police.

It's definitely overkill. Still, I'd prefer them to be over-zealous in their enforcement of rules, instead of letting it be an unregulated free-for-all.

On SM I wouldn't let my pet on cam. I find that there are sooo many fucking creepy guys there, and I do not want them to say something nasty about my dog, or risk being accused of something horrible like bestiality. I've watched many MFC shows and there are a lot of girls with a dog or cat on cam with them, and the pet even becomes a part of the room there... So I do not think that would be a problem there... But I think they are a lot more ban-happy with lower CS girls like me, than the top models. So... difficult decision...

I've seen 'inappropriate' several times over the years on mfc. And many more where the model didn't put it in writing in the topic but she let the room know she'd have the dog lick her pussy or she'd give it a BJ in private.

It happens. Start browsing page 20 more often. You'll run across it occasionally.

Ew. That's so sad. It is sad for the animals and sad for the models who feel the need to resort to this.

I'm about to adopt a dog from my friend who can't take his dog with him when he moves. I think for me I'd be fine with him in the room with me until a cum show, then I'll move him into the other room and close my bedroom door.

Streamate not even allowing them on cam sounds difficult to work with especially with cats. but i get that its a safety thing and people can be creepy.

Not even so much a safety thing. It's a legal thing. They're covering their asses through their content policy, TOS, model agreement, ect.......While at the same time, they'll knowingly accept models from countries where camming is illegal, because their ass is covered by those same documents, as the models agree to "not do anything illegal". Truth is, a lot of these sites (not naming any in particular, just saying "in general") don't really give a fuck as long as they are legally covered. If something's reported, yes, they'll act in all sorts of quickness, but that's because they have to.

It's amazing how powerful of a security-blanket an air-tight TOS, User Agreement and Content Policy is for a webmaster.

And stating that pets aren't allowed on cam protects them from the original liabilities I outlined. Maybe even a few others I didn't even think of. PETA gets loud about "Camming sites illegally sex trafficking animals". With the current state of political correctness in this country [USA], it wouldn't surprise me.
