i have a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.59 GHz what setting should I use on OBS using CB? I used the setting that CB had their site and I keep having problems with dropped frames and bitrate.

if its chaturbates warning recommended bitrate thing, i would ignore that if your bitrate is half decent for your cam mode 720/1080

Resolution (WxH)Video BitrateAudio BitrateFPS
853x480800 - 1200 kbps96 kbps24 - 30
1024x5761200 - 3000 kbps96 kbps24 - 30
1280x7203000 - 5000 kbps96 kbps24 - 30
1920x10805000 - 8000 kbps128 kbps24 - 30
2560x14408000 - 12000 kbps192 kbps24 - 30
3840x216012000 - 20000 kbps192 kbps24 - 30

chaturbates settings aren't bad, if your chatters arent complaining about lag etc then your fine. I set 1080 but use 4000 bitrate & since CB wants 5000, it complains & suggests changing,i dont. All depends on your internet speed & graphics card & system memory.
Your CPU specs all seem fine, graphics card & memory, internet could be bottle neck if your having lag etc

as there stats state for internet speed, its important, your upload speed needs to be 5-10 min for 720/1080. Use to have max 1 up, which was fine for everything i ever needed, but streaming not so good LOL
Resolution Minimum Upload Bandwidth Needed
853x480 2mbps
1280x720 5mbps
1920x1080 10mbps
2560x1440 16mbps
3840x2160 (4K) 30mbps

oh your 720 & 3000-5000 bitrate & chaturbates giving you warnings, i would ignore it, or fine tune your OBS video settings, this has been talked about on this forum, search for it, or google obs strean tweaking.

32gig & internet speed is good then. video drivers & webcam would be the other thing holding it back i suppose.

I used chatirbates settings as a base & tweaked settings.

Where is option automatic configuration creator in OBS?
its in polish ,but should be in the same place, at the top , u should see"Tools": click it and u see many options: first should be automatic configuration creator or something like that. Its asking you first if for streaming/recording and u need go few steps so if u will have question, just ask.:)

i did test and its saying 10000 for video bitrate is that going to be good enough ?

Which encoder its recommending?
And which encoders you have option to choose? One is always x264 and second (depends on your computer) Nvenc or something, just the other one, as i rememebr -and the other (not x264 is always showing 10 000 :D ),is worse quality than x264 but better for CPU. Generally which quality u wanna stream ?HD or HD+?
Can you also make this automatic configuration and choose x264 and write us here results of this test? If you have strong processor generally x264 is better. I use 4000 bitrate for HD and preset :veryfast, but for HD+ i do 6000 but SUPERFAST preset even if my cpu is strong. Nobody never complain for quality , but i feel that is less tiring for my cpu, is not working so loud. Both options im talking about x264

This is my ADVANCED stream settings and also in the main obs menu at the bottom is another : advanced and there i also choose process priority : above normal. No idea if that will help. Im sending this what works for me and i also have gaming computer . As i said - i noticed that for 1080p really good to choose superfast preset. Im not expert- just sharing what works for me

Nvenc i think is always showing 10 000 ,is hardware encoder, but when you go through steps of configuration, you should see option to choose nvenc or x264 , can you make test also or secnd one?

what i know is better use 3500-4000 with x264 then 10 000 with Nvenc, but u need try recomended settings from configuration for x264 how your processor see this :)

And you were asking about bitrate drops. Until your bitrate not dropping down under 2500 and line is not on red than u should not worry. Bitrate is dropping down sometimes on cb end.

I don't remember seeing the option to do nvenc or x264 in the test
Okey ,otherway: when you go to settings , output. where u choose presets and encoder, u can choose x264 or only Nvenc? If there is x264 too, then must be also in configuration

Solution
I would stop focusing on chaturbates warnings and more what your stream is like to others.
And advanced settings and manually change things over auto settings.
1080p @60fps 10,000 bitrate seems high
1080 @30 & 5000 bitrate should be good

Never compared x264 to nvenc myself, but might on weekend to see if any difference.
Have checked many YouTube and sites on stuff and most say nvenc was better, but I also have Amd and GeForce video card, many others are intel, not sure video card.
