While tube sites used to be almost exclusively full of ripped off content with no reference to the origins, more and more commercial sites are opening channels of their own to advertise. How many professional cam models are doing this, even if it's not a paid-for channel? The stuff is getting posted anyway, so wouldn't it be worth getting the maximum promotional value?

NB: I'm not talking about models who are camming to pay for their studies, or get out of a jam and are worried about their neighbours, family or future employers finding them.

One of my shows was uploaded to a tube site. A few of my fans told me so I went straight to it, told the uploader to name me and let viewers know where to watch me. Hits to my website went crazy!

It was a small teaser show in free chat so anyone could have seen it anyway. What annoyed me the most was I had broadcast in HD but the guy had uploaded a grainy jerky rubbish recording.

I made my on account on the site and now the site automatically tags me in any pirated videos.

You can also ask your loyal followers to help. If they find any videos of yours on sites like that, they can enter in the comments section of the video "that is from MFC / SM / whatever cam site" for you.

Yes, this works well, too. I prefer it to happen on an established tube site than those awful "forums" like the one which posts every single minute of MFC broadcasts.

Just to be clear, I was referring to sites like X-Hamster, Porn Hub and such. They do have comments sections visible with the video clips.

I upload the video snippets I use as gifs to Pornhub, with the link to the video on C4S right in the middle as a semi-transparent watermark. I see a fair amount of traffic and sales from these, especially when I've uploaded a new one recently.

Majority of my stuff out there has my name on it. I am not really worried about trying to take them down at least when it comes to camming and my porn videos.

I've been online camming and doing videos since 2003 so there is literally 100s of my stuff out there that is would take up too much of my time to track down and get updated with my name or removed. When it comes to escort sites that is where those guys really take stealing to a new level.
