I'm thinking about offering relationship stuff on my OF, but I'm looking to hear from others first.
Would you offer text-based Safe For Work Girlfriend Experience (basically treat your client like you're in a safe for work romantic relationship) at $100 a day? Why / Why Not?
P.S: You could set your own hours of availability for the day.
Thanks!

It would depend on how much interaction was expected ( It would not be worth it for very steady going back and forth even SFW) but it seems reasonable for just texting and no spicy pics or anything.

That's $80 to you. I'd up it to an odd number like $125 or even double that if they want me to be on their schedule instead of mine.
What about having specific hours of availability? For example there's a booking for the day (which is actually 12 PM to 1PM, 3 - 6PM, 9 to 10PM so like 5 effective hours of service)

I think that part is where it gets tricky because the person buying the experience may be 3 hours ahead or behind you. The GFE, in my experience, is being available when they are. You're effectively a virtual side piece for a married or taken man. Which is why the price needs to be worth you working around them.

Oh okay. I meant they booked on your schedule when they initially agreed. So if you decided you were only available let's say from 12 to 3 PM, 3 to 6 and 9 to 10 pm in your time zone for interacting with your booked clients. Then those would be the only times of interaction during the day regardless of their specific timezone. So basically they're saying that they'd be okay with those time areas of the day rather than (similar to only being able to talk to a gf or partner during her lunch breaks, after work, etc)

what if the client is a just a respectful but normal lonely person (man or woman) who is not in a relationship (lonely college student, divorced / widowed person, busy first responder / professional, socially awkward individual, etc) rather than someone who's in a relationship (married / in a relationship man / woman). What price do you think would be worth working around them?

It would preclude me from other activities in my day that would pay better for less time. If we are talking about an 8 hour day here anyways...

I would offer 45 mins of undivided attention for that amount, on a site where I got 80-100%.

Unless there was some parameter like a GFE day consists of a short chat, 2 pics and maybe a very short video call each day. But I know most guys are going to expect 24 hours of undivided attention for that, where we jump every time they get a hard on and/or want to talk. And no, not for $100. That's like a few grand type deal., even SFW. Because clothes on or off makes no difference as far as time taken.

Imo, it doesn’t matter if someone is in a relationship/marriage or if they’re single and lonely. It would be the same price.

Considering I don’t even like constant back and forth texting in my personal life or text conversations that require my undivided attention, I’d make them pay similar to what I’d want to be paid for any other kind of work. Plus, the rates would be high-ish simply because it’s emotional work and there’s an inherent risk that the person on the other side blurs the line between fantasy and reality.

With that being said, there’s no way I’d charge only $100 a day for that. $100 an hour would still be on the low side for me personally.

Okay. If I understand right you're saying $1,000 to $2,000 for 8 hours ($125 to $250 per hour) for safe for work girlfriend experience texting with a respectful normal person (I mean a normal college woman / man, widowed woman, busy professional, etc)? To clarify SFW is the content / subject matter of the communications, not the clothing.

Okay. How much would you need to do this?

Correct.

The rest you shared is irrelevant to me.
Like I said, I charge in time increments. It's bizarre, and irrelevant to me that you are even specifying the other stuff.
It would have no effect on the price.
Lol my time is my time, there isn't a "normal person" or "SFW" discount 😆

Yes, you understood right.

Echoing what @MarieElise said, it’s strange that you’re being so specific about who it is and what the content is, because it does not matter.

Obviously I’m not going to sit there and chat with someone completely off their rocker for any amount of money, but other than that, I really wouldn’t care about the rest. The reason why they want a GFE isn’t relevant. Whether it’s a married man with six kids and a loving wife or a “widowed woman” or “busy professional”, they would all get the same pricing.

And it doesn’t matter if it’s SFW. It is still work and it’s still something I wouldn’t be doing if money wasn’t involved. So yeah, minimum of $100 per hour. Although to be honest, I’d probably charge more than that.

@MarieElise I just figured doing a basic texting with someone (no photos, no sexting , not ever a video call) would be quite different than a full-blown porn-type photos, videos, conversation and video chatting. Those are quite different regardless of how much time it takes. If it was me non NSFW would cost way more, not the same amount. In my opinion providing emotion support to another should not be the same cost as providing sexual services, and I wanted clarification because 4 figures for safe for work texting (which can be done passively) seemed very high. "Normal Person" in the context of this conversation would be non sexual lol...

I've heard your perspective.

@Marceline interesting SFW / NSFW and the client doesn't matter in your eyes. There's a difference from a "off their rocker" person than a NSFW and a SFW client. Similar to an erotic massage shouldn't be the same price as a normal massage for example. Usually in business the clients needs vary because of the specific client profile which is quite quite different for the 79yr old widowed woman vs the 19 year old horny guy. It's not about just your time, it's about the considerations for the client themselves which is why that's actually essential information. You didn't answer my "How much would you need to do this?" question. $100 seems very high for basic SFW texting to a normal person (IE someone who is not asking for nudes, photos, sexting, every 2 minutes.) I would figure talking to an old grandma about her day wouldn't be the same price as engaging in full blown sex work including video, camera, and audio. That's why I've given the valuable information I did in this thread. The specifics always matter in busienss especially charging 3 figures per hour so the clients gets what they need lol...

gonna echo what others are saying. sexual or platonic, you are still offering companionship which will take time and effort on your part to create and maintain that fantasy/experience.

One of the reasons is because it's time that could be spent doing something else that makes you $100/h, it's the time that holds the value not the content.

I don’t mean to be rude, but I’m out in this thread, because this is kinda ridiculous. I’m a business woman first and foremost. I am business minded. Although I like to joke around a lot, business is a serious topic to me, and this is silly.

And tbh judging people as “normal” or not based on their masturbation preferences, on sites geared toward masturbation, is a bit whack sounding to me also.

Time = money. It's been a saying for thousands of years in all languages and in America it's translated as fuck you, pay me. See: Jesse James right palm tattoo.

It doesn't matter to me whether the texting is SFW or NSFW because in the end, it's a luxury service that is being purchased. This isn't some kind of essential service someone needs, it's entertainment. It's also about me spending my time doing something that I otherwise would not be doing if I wasn't getting paid for it.

And, texting isn't the same as massages, so that's not really comparable. It's also not really an equal comparison between SFW texting and doing NSFW video/camera/audio work. Of course I'd charge more for videos than I would for texting, whether the videos were sexual in nature or not. For example, I charge $15 a minute for custom videos, without any add ons. If a member wanted a video of me just talking about my day, it would still cost them the same $15 a minute that it would cost a member wanting something like a JOI or POV video.

Anyway, with that being said, I can't say exactly how much I'd charge for SFW texting, simply because it's not something that I'm interested in doing. Because one, I'd rather spend that same amount of time filming which would lead to me making more money over the long run. Two, I don't want to be essentially "on call" for anyone, or have to give someone my undivided attention for hours at a time. I don't even do that with my bf, best friend or family. They get responses when I feel like responding, and a lot of the time I don't want to carry on a long text conversation. And three, offering services like this can lead to the member blurring the lines between fantasy and reality and having a distorted perception of the transactional relationship between the two of you, which can lead to problems. However, if I had to throw out an exact price right now, I'd probably price it at $180 an hour, which is what I'd make for a private show on MFC. But honestly, if I were to actually end up offering this, I'd more than likely end up pricing it even higher. But since you're so deadset on getting an actual number, I'll say $180/hr.

If you feel like that's too high or wouldn't feel comfortable charging that much, then don't charge that much. If you feel like your time is worth only $100 a day, then price it like that. Looking at your post history it seems like you're very new to cam/sex work, and I'll be honest, I was the same way with pricing my time way too low when I first got into the industry. However, I've been in the adult/sex work industry for almost seven years now, and I know how valuable my time and energy is and I refuse to lowball myself.

If it was me non NSFW would cost way more, not the same amount. In my opinion providing emotion support to another should not be the same cost as providing sexual services, and I wanted clarification because 4 figures for safe for work texting (which can be done passively) seemed very high.

Again, charge whatever you want. Just because someone else would charge one way, doesn't mean you also have to. However, we're sex workers, not therapists. If someone is in actual need of emotional support they should be going to a licensed mental health provider. Y'know, the same people who charge $150+ per hour for their services.

I charge for things based on how difficult or draining it is, how much my time is worth and my ability to resell it.

I want to make the most money in the least time, I want to protect my mental health and I want to be able to reuse the content I make so I can continue to earn off it (an example, a custom video I made for someone for $300 has now as of yesterday made me over $4000 in profit on clip sites in the last 3 years)

So, exclusivity costs the most. One on one attention is a premium.

For some models, the level of SFW or not has value to them but not really for me. They also might care about having a smaller impact, or maybe they prefer connecting.

To me snapping a boob pic is simpler than listening to someone yap about their day and pretending I care lol.

In my experience GFE relationships always got toxic and weird and controlling over time. They were incredibly draining. So I don’t offer them anymore, but I did offer this kind of thing for years with no set structure. Basically you just had to beat my top top to get a title.

I meant to edit but missed the window - You don't need our approval to charge lower for this. Charge what you think its worth to you. If you're offering lower rates you'll get plenty of bites. Come back and tell us in a year how its been for you?

Pricing is an incredibly personal thing. We charge what things are worth to us, and thats going to be different for reach person. If we charge so high no one pays for it, then maybe that's not a service we should be offering haha.

(i guess i lied when I said I wouldn't offer it now. If I was to offer it now, I'd want to offer weekdays only and I'd charge something so insane no one would pay it. It'd be like, 10,000 a week or some shit.)

Your comparison of an erotic massage price vs a regular massage is a good one here to illustrate this point. If I was an erotic masseuse and someone asked me to do just a regular massage, I think I'd charge the same as my erotic massage price. Because, If I didn't take his booking I could get booked for an erotic massage and make that full rate. As a massage client, I'm not going to visit an erotic massage place for a regular massage though, I'm going to a regular massage place. And I'm going to pay regular prices lol!

This MIGHT be different if I was a survival sex worker, who did not like erotic massages but was doing them because I couldn't get booked enough as a regular massage therapist, and where the regular massage rate was enough for my survival money.
